Review 1：It is to noise cannot sleep room no 9 hear everyone coming and going in the hotel as well as outside requested a quiet room just terrible

Review 3：That my card was debited £125. Even though there was £45 to secure room I was charged £125 as guest I booked for had left room messy.They have left the £45 pending in my bank but then took £125 which I found they left my bank short and nobody can give a reason why this had happened. Staff I felt not trained properly to deal with complaints.

Review 5：An extremely loud Christmas party going on until midnight with loud base which kept me awake through industrial ear plugs! Sunley were quick to call me when their card machine broke so I would have expected a courtesy call to alert me to the fact there would be a very loud party - maybe I'd like to stay elsewhere?!! I've stayed about 6 times and had enough of uncomfortable mattresses, changing rooms, intermittent/absent wifi, kettles that don't work etc etc. They know all this - not good enough! It's a glorified youth hostel cum faulty towers. I now stay at Holiday Inn Express which is often cheaper than Sunley superior rooms, really comfy mattresses, pillows, bedding, variety of breakfast, friendlier staff and quiet. And they go the extra mile. No complaints there and no stress. Sorry : (

There's always one thing after another - theoverwhelming smell of aftershave in room 3 and blocked drain smell inthe bathroom (second time I've experienced this!) which made mylips tingle!! Had to literally beg to be moved, even the staff gaggedwhen they went in. Thankfully I was moved, but only refunded thedifference between rooms based on that day's price, not when Ibooked. Some beds are very uncomfortable (some are ok - depends onroom), sometimes smelly, kettles not working, some rooms very hard toswitch heating off so you bake, sometimes very intermittant or absentwifi, tv channels askew, coach trips coming in at 3am, tonight there isa suprloud xmas party (Sunley have called previously to ask to be paidin cash when I arrive - would've appreciated a call saying therewas going to be a very loud party finishing at midnight - would Iprefer to stay elsewhere? Yes!). Ok, it's saturday night and notmany people have to work Sunday but I do (14hr shift!) and would loveto go to sleep but my industrial ear plugs are just not blocking outthe noise. Sorry Sunley, but had enough and time for me to stayelsewhere from now on : ((

Review 35：The whole set up is a we asked for a double room which in every hotel I've stayed in has a double bed but because there was a function on we was given a room with 2 single beds when I asked the reception for 2 more pillows it was like the world ended poor excuse for a hotel

Review 45：Heating in our room didn't seem to be working. Have stayed before and it was fine and piping hot so not sure why it wasn't this time. However we were provided with a fan heater and it wasn't like it everywhere. And weather still mild so only needed fan heater as didn't want to feel cold coming out of the nice hot shower.

Review 53：Internet existed but not usable and wi-fi signal very weak, morning staff is not always at counter so better go to reception rather than call, restaurant clock not working and was fixed on multiple requests, internet complaint made and after a couple of days it improved to little extent, bed mattress of cheap quality, single-glazed windows make the room colder, radiator heat is controlled from university and that heat is supplied a couple of hours a day.

Also we had a good dinner at Sunley on a friday, and I arranged for friends to join us on the Saturday evening, only to find that there was no food service on weekends. No information about that was at reception, or passed on by the waiting staff on the friday , just a closed notice on the door. We eventually found a pub 20 minutes away that had space. There may well be a mention of it in the book in the room, but it would not hurt to make it a little more obvious. Not happy.

Review 77：The wifi was really a pain as it did not work in the rooms. It worked the first night and then I had to go to the lounge and even then it would not work so that was the only disappointing thing. For a conference centre it should be so much better!!!!

Review 102：The bath is not good, it's one of the old small hotel types. The shower was very good though. My only problem with the actual booking was the booking.com website, they nearly lost my reservation as the hotel doesn't accept AMEX. I updated my card details three times but booking.com did not provide the hotel with the update. None of this was the hotels fault, just booking.com's fault
Review 103：It's clean, comfortable and above basic standards. The staff are really nice, and I enjoyed the breakfast. I have stayed in worse 3* hotels. The bed was very comfortable. I booked here as I was working in the college next door. I would definitely book here again! Clean, comfortable, excellent value and lovely staff!

Review 113：This was our 4th stay at Sunley conference centre for moto GP at Silverstone. Glad to report it is as good value as ever. We had a first floor room with garden view which we prefer. We knew before booking that there would be a wedding reception so we made sure we had our ear plugs and had a good night sleep.

Review 117：Firstly, I was sent to the wrong room. Ok, mistakes happen and I canforgive that. Although the guest in that room came to the door asking"What the b****y hell did I think I was doing?" Aftereventually getting my room, I asked for an iron & board (as advisedavailable at Reception according to hotel guide). The Receptionist toldme they didn't provide that facility. I asked her again, pointingout the guide in the room said the hotel does provide them. She thensaid she didn't know where they kept them (iron & board). I waspolite, didn't shout but she accused me of intimidating her. Uselessat a conference centre hotel. I had a job interview the following day socouldn't stay in the room (which I'd paid for) and had to bookanother hotel, costing £82 plus £10 for a taxi. Plus, the bathroom flooris like something you'd see in a public toilet. Vile, hopeless andnever again.

Review 130：It was fresh looking and had everything we needed for our 2 night's stay. The breakfast was included which was a good buffet with a nice selection and lashings of coffee/tea. Tables cleared promptly. It was quiet there and we slept well. Great value for money.
Review 131：Overall the room was good the only detraction was the bathroom sink. 1. it is quite small and dominated by a large monobloc tap that makes it difficult to wash and shave. 2. The drain on the sink could do with a dose of drain cleaner or bleach or both, the smell is not pleasant.
