Field View B&B is situated in Yarm, in the North Yorkshire countryside. The family-run bed and breakfast offers free Wi-Fi, free private parking and a spacious open-plan dining and living area with a flat-screen TV.

Review 1：nothing everything was excellent and valid for money was better than I've paid for in past really please breakfast was awesome
Review 2：attitude of the staff were spot on and very helpful after I had made a booboo when booking
Review 3：The walls were paper thin and we were kept awake all night by someone coughing in a bedroom above us. Once the guests in the room above us were up and about so were we as the floor creaked like hell......the shower head was nailed to the ceiling which wasn't ideal for short people! Also the shower pressure was poor.
Review 4：We had a bedroom away from the main building, the room was pleasant. Breakfast was nice.
Review 5：Nothing major,turned radiators up in room for extra heat but it was December. Also if you want to walk into Yarm it's a good twenty minutes which to us is nothing but if you are physically unable a taxi is best.

Review 8：The location was 1/2 mile from the wedding we were attending, the rooms were very well appointed and the staff could not do enough to make your stay go well

Review 10：Good location near to the village of Yarm and main arterial roads. Good value for money, shared bathroom facilities were good and clean.
Review 11：The duvet on the double bed was only a double size and we have a super king at home, we were fighting about who got most of it. Also our room which was beautiful was quite near a busy road. when we go back we will ask for a room further away from the road.
Review 12：I was ideally located to my family who we were visiting. Carol the receptionist was very welcoming as were the owners when we met them the following morning. The place was lovely and clean and breakfast was great.

Review 15：Loved the place, staff were amazing and friendly. Local pub was a little old country and my girlfriend being black and myself being white turned a few heads but I can't blame the B and B for that. Would stay there again.

I found them very helpful and keen to make our stay happy, even expressed concern that I hadn't explained I have M.S as would have given me a ground floor room which was very kind. Really friendly like going to see family. Lovely place to stay very convenient and easy to find and Yarm is a charming little town.
Review 18：We got there at breakfast just before 8.30 our friends got the table for us all and they started clearing away everything ! There was only 6 people for breakfast ! We asked for more tea but was told the urn was switched off !

Review 22：Friendly welcome and in the exact location I needed. Very handy for the train station but no noise from it. Good sized room with its own patio area and garden furniture.

Review 24：When we got up in the morning someone had vomited in the basin in the shared bathroom and it was still there. It looked dried as if it had been there overnight. Luckily there was another bathroom.If I had been a woman on my own staying another night after that I would not have felt at ease because there must have been someone who was drunk to have been sick and not cleaned it. It felt like it was really somewhere for men to stay when they are working away from home - big builders mugs in the room for the tea/coffee and football on the t.v. in the breakfast room. I could feel the springs in the bed. We were told we would have to pay cash when we settled the bill because they can't take cards in the morning which sounded a bit strange.

Review 38：The room we was given have a creaking bed so went to reception had toring for someone to come and see me explained and the man who ownsbusiness was very rude about it and sed if it a problem just leave,cudnt leave as all other hotels nearby full so had to stay felt upsetand scares the way I was spoke to also had awful nights sleep went to goto toilet in night and someone had been sick all over so couldn'twas worst hotel I ever stayed in not worth 60 pound a night, will neverstay again do mucky and customer care appauling.

Review 61：The breakfast on the morning was cold which was unfortunate but ample food was offered. Upon check out we had to wait around 20 minutes as we hadn't been asked to pay on arrival as stated at the desk as realised the following day and there were no staff around that could be seen. Lovely place, however, a touch up of some areas and decor required.

This could have been easily remedied by turning down the heating and opening a window to let fresh air in before reletting. Carpets were the only things that let down otherwise pleasant décor. On the whole a good, value for money guesthouse.

Review 80：Not much not to dislike. If I had to point out anything it is that we live in a quiet road and I'm not used to road noise. I did notice a few instances of road noise during the night. It might not trouble everyone - it didn't bother my husband. I could have also done with a light over the hair dryer mirror. Otherwise no complaints.
