Review 1：Kalamaki is a small resort just 6 kms from Chania Town. Hotel clean, staff friendly. Perfect for a stopover before travelling to Chania Airport. No parking problems. Bus to Chania only €1.70
Review 2：The Weather wasn;t so good at the beginning of October so couldn't use the pool but that is no fault of the hotel or owner.
Review 3：Tasos and his team were very friendly and helpful. The room and shower-room were basic but clean and adequate for our stay. We spent our 3 days exploring Chania which is just a 20 minute bus journey, so this hotel was ideally situated for our needs and we didn't need to drive in the City.
Review 4：when i got there there was nobody at reception, i had to ask to other guests and everybody told me that was normal that the reception is used to be empty. The swimmigpool is a an old hole with water. All the furniture in the room was really old. i went there after i spent some days in an other hotel really close to this hotel, unfortunately the last day of vacation was full so i moved to Akasti hotel. prices were almost the same but Akasti hotel was awful.
Review 5：It would have been nice to have a shower curtain and something to attach the shower head to the wall so you don't have to hold it yourself. Also, we had no view from our balcony, while the room prices are the same as the rooms with a seaside-view or a view on the pool.
Review 6：Good hotel; nice and relaxed owner, OK room with good beds, perfectly working airconditioning and at a good location. 5 min to the nearest beacht, 3 min to bus stop to Chania where the bus stops every 15-20min, 2km to two big supermarkets (Lidl and IN.KA, 20 min walk or 5 min by bus). Also the KTEL bus to Elafonissi and Balos passes the coastal road in front of the hotel so it is possible to get in the bus there (buy your tickets in advance at the busstation in Chania; the tickets in the bus are more expensive)
Review 7：The location was excellent-close to the sea,restaurants and public transport.The room was spacious and with a great view to the sea and the food in the hotel was good.The staff was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay.I totally recommend it!
