Review 4：Pansion is located directly by the sea and has it own access to it. Entrance to Paklenica nature park is in some 5 minutes drive. We liked quietness, helpful staff. Restaurant seafood plate was excellent. Breakfast was good.

Review 12：We loved everything about this hotel. The building is charming, and we had a fabulous room with a large balcony overlooking the sea. The location is only 2 km from the Paklenica NP entrance. Pansion means that they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant has either indoor or outdoor seating with a lovely sea view. The food was excellent Croatian fare reasonably priced. They provided a packed lunch for our day hike in the park. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff is helpful in every way. This would be an excellent, quiet location to spend a week just reading books. We would definitely stay here again.

Review 14：We enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and very clean. We used the waterfront in the afternoon. Not fancy but comfort and clean clear water. Rock shoes were helpful. The dinner and breakfast were very good. Tasty and good portions. Very friendly helpful staff.

This is an excellent starting point for exploring national park Palenica. Cheap bicycle rental was available to cycle to the entrance of the park.

Review 23：Arriving by car, the bold colourful signs on the main road made finding the hotel very easy even though we could not locate it on our Sat Nav. The staff were welcoming, helpful and escorted us to our room. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, quiet, and with great Wi Fi. Breakfast selection was diverse and of a high quality which was served until 12 noon. Unusually for us, we ate in the hotel restaurant on all nights of our stay, The food was of a high quality and served in an atmosphere of quiet relaxation. We highly recommend this hotel and will be returning. Our room was situated on the top floor which suited us perfectly. The hotel does not have a lift which for us was not an issue. However we would recommend that a room on a lower floor be requested should climbing four flights of stairs be a challenging prospect.

Review 54：The coastal views are fantastic. It's in the middle of the Paklenica NP so there's walking and other outdoor activities. It's not far from Zadar which is a great town in which to spend a day or two. It's easy to swim in beautiful azure waters at the front of the hotel. I wish I was there now!!

Review 59：Excellent location with own beach and restaurant. Nice and quiet room with sea view and huge balcony. Good breakfast on a beautiful terrace with flowers. Enough parking places. We were on honeymoon, and they greeted us with a bottle of champaign.

Review 60：There was no air conditioning in the bedroom, just in the main sitting area so it was very hot at night and if you opened a window there was the noise of crates being moved by the kitchens. Despite their advertising that they accepted credit cards, they will only accept half a bill by credit card. This left us embarrassed since we had budgeted for paying the whole of the apartment cost by credit card. They did eventually let us pay the whole bill by credit card but charged us about 3% on the total bill as a penalty. If you don't use their restaurant regularly, their welcome diminishes.

We also thought the food was a highlight.We've been in the region for 4 weeks so we know Dalmation food. Weloved Kiko's dinners so much we ate there every night. Try theseafood platter for 2. Delicious ("oo koo snow" in Croatian.)

The best hotel we stayed in in the entire two week touring trip of Croatia

Review 69：The hotel needs updating as the decor is very dated and cheap. Also the guy that let me in when I arrived late in the evening wasn't very helpful, it just seemed like I was keeping him away from his TV program. He didn't explain anything to me. Also the internet doesn't work up on the second floor as the signal is too weak and the breakfast in the morning isn't very nice.

Review 73：Staff was very friendly. They put us in a sea-facing full apt next door to pension for same price. The sea view was wonderful. The proximity to Paklenica Park was great (we had a car) and was a little away from the busier center (which we prefer)

Review 74：There is only one small complaint which is the water pressure in the shower. We were on the top floor and the shower was very soft. It is a very small complaint and would not deter me in the least from booking again.

Review 75：Kiko's access to the wonderful paklencia national park is perfect. The hotel is filled with climbers, hikers, and water enthusiasts who are there to enjoy what the mountains have to offer. Facility wise the hotel is very clean and organized with all the needed and wanted amenities at a decent price for the area. Their location on the water is certainly not uncommon in Croatia but we felt it was especially well put together with a small garden pond on their private dock with deck chairs, palm trees, and clear blue water. It s a few minutes walk to fet into Starigrad which is a small but friendly place. The dinning area is in a small shaded area right next to the water. Breakfast is simple but the cook will grill you up some eggs on request- I am a big eater and was very satisfied. The owner and his daughter speak various languages between them and go out of there way to attempt and assist. English and German were never much of a problem in all Croatia but certainly not at Kiko. Parking is available and easy. Easy to find from main road. Free wifi works for email but I never really tried anything more. Would highly recommend.

Review 76：Parking is limited. No hot water for showers after midnight. Towels are small. Bring your own shampoo. Is much further from Zadar airport than listed. Ham and eggs for breakfast was barely cooked eggs, ask for hard boiled.

Review 77：Beautiful view of the water, nice balcony. The mixed seafood platter at the restaurant is fantastic. Quiet area. Very close to paklenica national park. Croatia and the Croatian people are beautiful. The A1 or main toll road highway and signage are easy to negotiate. It is easy to rent a car at the airport, even if you come in on an 11 pm flight. We never got lost even without a cell phone or GPS. Wifi at the hotel works well. Not many Americans visit this area, so not everyone speaks English, but most speak German.

Review 78：The hotel is perfectly located directly at the cost. The national park Paklenica is only a few kilometers away. We had a room with a very nice balcony and a phantastic view to the sea. The fish plate prepared by Mr. Kiko was absolutely delicate.

Review 82：Pansion Kiko is easy to reach from the main coastal road yet quiet. Our double room seemed newly furnished and offerered views of the ocean and mountains from the curved balcony. Kiko, the host, was always present and ready for advise about anything asked. Food was Dalmatian tailored to one hearts desire. Homemade wine and liqueurs contributed to the warm and inviting atmosphere. Definitely a place to be checked out to check in if not for a stay then for breakfast or dinner.

Review 83：Great location for exploring Paklenia National Park. We found the staff here the friendliest of any of the places we stayed at in our journey throughout Croatia and also had some of our best meals at the restaurant here (fish platter for 2 highly recommended).

Review 94：Pansion Kiko is a very relaxed family - run place in an exceptional location mere minutes from the attractions of Paklenica National Park. At Pansion Kiko, my wife and I had some of the best meals we ate during our month - long visit to Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia Hercegovina and Slovenia. We loved our 'park - facing' apartment that was always so cheerfully bright when the sun came up each of our two days at Pansion Kiko. Another major attraction of Pansion Kiko is the lively personality of 26 year old Masters Degree holder daughter Martina .... Along with her quite incredible language skills and tales from her travels to the USA, Africa, Australia and various European countries.
