Review 1：Mosquito bites in the evening were a nuisance.Perhaps we did not cover up enough when sitting outside.

Review 3：Just returned from a lovely 10 night stay in the beautiful and private Baha-Ammes apartments. George the owner collected us at the airport (which was extremely good of him considering our flight landed late at 10.30pm) and nothing was too much trouble for him and his very friendly wife. We stayed in apartment 201, this was one of the two bedroomed apartments and it was very comfortable with everything you need and very clean. Really good air con and wifi. The lovely beach was very close by and we didn't miss having a pool at all. The only thing to point out is that due to the amazing gardens surrounding the apartments there are a lot of mosquitoes. So make sure you are well stocked up on repellent. We hired a car for a few days (via Greekstones) and it was well worth it. Assos was beautiful and not to be missed, just be prepared for the very crazy roads! Although the apartment is close to the airport this wasn't a problem at all. We never got bored of watching planes comes in to land when on the beach. We loved Kefalonia and would recommend Baha-Ammes to anyone. Only been back one day and missing it already. A really special place which has given us lots of lovely memories.

Review 5：Friendly host, astounding gardens. It's like the Kew Gardens of Kefalonia and the owner is very happy to show you his favourites, or just have a chat. He also gave me a lift to airport with luggage, free room upgrade and late checkout. Excellent overall. Wish I had stayed here longer, hope to be back. No mozzie problem in June at all. Review 6：Mister George and his wife are the perfect hosts. They picked us up at the airport and are always there for a little chat and tips. Our 2,5 year old son always went running to salute them whenever he saw them. The apartments are comfortable, with nice wooden ceilings, very clean and the equipment is simple but there is everything you need. The most impressive feature is the amazing garden (be prepared for mosquitoes). It's beautiful and offers good privacy for the apartments' terraces. It always gave a feeling of peace when we entered the complex. All together, a great place to stay!
Review 7：The taxi driver Denny recommended by the owners is polite, but consistently does not run the meter and charges 2-3 Euros more than metered taxis. He also short-changed me on our last trip. (Not the fault of the owners- just giving info for travelers without cars.)
Review 8：The couple who own and operate these apartments are very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The apartments are clean, well furnished and comfortable. The garden they built and maintain is simply amazing. Very close to a lovely sand beach and some decent restaurants. Very convenient to the island's airport, though far from downtown Argostoli.
Review 9：It was my plan to propose to my girlfriend in Kefalonia. I booked Baha Ammes for 7 nights; as we drove up the driveway, the owner's famous gardens took our breath away. I have travelled a fair bit and stayed in quite a few holiday apartments but honestly none can compare to the beautiful surroundings that these apartments are set in (the pictures do not do it justice). We were then greeted by George who informed me that he had upgraded us to a larger apartment free of charge. Our apartment was beautiful with a large double bed, bathroom, safe, kitchenette; kitted with utensils more than adequate for us and most importantly there was a modern remote controlled air con unit in our bedroom. The apartment was clean and airy with a large porch with large table suitable for six diners which overlooked a section of the beautiful gardens.I proposed to my fiancé after a few days staying there; George and his wife Jasmin asked me which day I was going to do it. I asked and fortunately she said yes; on our return to the apartment each room contained beautiful white flowers hand picked from the garden; the porch table had a bottle of champagne and a selection of sweets. I was taken back by the effort and thoughtfulness shown by our hosts.George & Jasmin strike a perfect balance as hosts; they are very welcoming but allow you adequate space and freedom so you won't feel intruded upon.As you can probably tell I cannot recommend Baha Ammes apartments highly enough; it is one of the most beautiful relaxed places I have ever stayed. It is a 5 minute walk to one of the only sandy beaches in Kefalonia, 6 euros to hire 2 sun loungers and a table for the day; however outside peak hours you can use the loungers free of charge. The apartments are child friendly as is the beach (lifeguard, no strong currents, shallow etc). The price of the apartment was more than reasonable.
Review 10：The mosquito nets covering the doors and windows weren't completely mossie-proof - but George supplied a coil holder and lighter to keep them at bay!
Review 11：Beautiful garden, cool basement flat. We had our own patio table and chairs in the lush garden, where it was lovely to sup local wine under the shade of the umbrella. The flat was small but had everything we needed. The hospitality of the hosts couldn't be bettered. A lovely holiday.

Review 20：This was our first stay in Kefalonia. We were there for a week, and we couldn't have been made to feel any more welcome! Baha-Ammes apartments are spacious, very clean and with everything you'd really need, and are set in the most beautiful, lush gardens you can imagine, set up from scratch and cared for by George and his wife. They are both so lovely and helpful, and go out of their way to look after you. They also gave us some wonderful local advice on the best sights to see and authentic Greek places to eat (the ones that the locals prefer!). Quite often it felt like we were staying with family. The nearest beach is just 5 mins walk away, local mini-markets and tavernas equally close, and despite being fairly near the airport the area is really very quiet and peaceful, and a great spot to base yourself in for exploring the rest of the island. The island is best accessed by hiring a car for a few days, and sights vary from the most stunning beaches and winding mountain trails to beautiful old fishing villages and impressive castle ruins. Baha-Ammes is the kind of little gem that you'll want to return to again and again (and some of the guests there during our stay have been doing so for 30+ years!). We thoroughly enjoyed our too-short stay, and would love to return as soon as we can. Thank you so much for such a delightful time!
Review 21：We (3 friends in our early 30s travelling together) loved everythingabout Baha-Ammes!!! Our 3-days stay was simply amazing - and tooshort... We didn't expect it to be that nice in fact. When wearrived, it felt we had landed in a tropical forest. Never we had seenthis type of tropical plants & flowers! The garden is a real jewel,tended by a kind and passionate landlord and his wife. We stayed in acosy villa, where we could enjoy meals on the terrace. Upon our arrival,which was a bit late in the evening, our hosts even offered us pizza, incase we didn't have enough food - how nice and touching!!The seaside between Baha-Ammes and Argostoli is a pure wonder too - one of the best swimming experiences in our lives so far! Transparent turquoise sea, like on postcards, and great for snorkelling. We really recommend that hotel/villas. Just staying there is an experience of its own worth it! Be ready for a complete change of scenes :) And again thank you to George and his wife for the wonderful stay!!!
