Review 2：Used quite a few times now and never had any problems, other then last time when we booked a later departure time and was rang at 11am to remind to leave even though we had booked till 2pm.
Review 3：staff the rudest i ever encountered! harrassed myself partner threatened even with police at 11:00am all because late checking out??? absolutley disgusting remarks threats etc ..never stay again! after 4 days 10mins to pack ..

Review 9：Noisey neighbours, 5x told to turn music down. Staff were too soft. Moved room. People knocking on my door at 4am looking for family, shouting out names, this was in corrider next to recption and again no staff to sort it out. Hated my stay here. No sleep and I was on bk to bk 12hr shifts. Oh yeh. Walking across the road in the rain to get breakfast was f'ing icing on the cake.

Review 11：I general liked the customer service experienced but on Christmas day there was an exception (there is always one to spoil the hotel image). I am talking about the receptionist named Ingrid who was on duty that day. I experienced a poorly problem in her attitude, when my partner politely asked her to use the customer toilet. In my opinion, Ingrid was both unprofessional and discourteous, and what is more, she was obstructive in my partner simple request to use the toilet. Although,I do understand that this is only a survey. Therefore I will make sure this poor incident is reported to the next link of the chain of Lucky 8 Hotel as a formal complaint.
Review 12：We liked the location and the room because it was quiet and cosy, although it was a party on Saturday night when people were drinking and smoking drugs. Although this noisy event took place Chirstas day/boxing day morning - when I close my door (room number 31) the sound and smoke could not be heard or smoked.

Review 17：The hotel room smelled so strongly of paint it gave me a headache. There was no parking available although it was advertised and the receptionist told me to park outside, 10mins later I received a parking ticket for £110. There was a fire alarm at 5am where we have to evacuate and no one could explain anything as they could bearly speak English. The hotel room was less that 10m from the railway line which kept me awake most of the night with rail works happening. The receptionist was so unhelpful and was only concerned with taking my money. The toilet was so close to the wall you could not sit on it properly. There was no hot water from the shower. The breakfast was poor

Review 19：The hotel could list a couple of recommended local restaurants in the welcome pack. If you are arriving late into the hotel you don't really want to waste time walking around looking for a reliable local establishment. Hotel should provide information for parking front and back. Not clear as to what area is the hotels at the back.
Review 20：Good welcoming and helpful staff. Clean and tidy room with all the amenities provided. Gel, shampoo, soap, tea, coffee, hangers, personal room safe, off road parking providing you arrive early enough.
