Review 1：A little thing, but we like toast for breakfast and there was no toaster. Hope to see one next time. The beach was very rocky with no sand felt we should have been told.
Review 2：The apartment was great and the village had restaurants/supermarkets too. We saw a lot of places from our base at Akti and the staff were great.

Review 7：The location is very peaceful, set back in the hills with stunning views to the sea. 5 min drive to the national highway. Lots of supermarkets nearby, bakery, pharmacy etc all within a few minutes drive. Owners were very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend this place!!

Review 9：Very cheap, we stayed in august for 277.00 for the week. Cooking facilities not great for self catering accommodation. On a main road but we were on the opposite side so only just heard traffic. Great pool bar next door, which u can use when buying a drink. Convenient to get into rethynmon by bus, how err slightly confused with bus times. Near the beach, with a few tavernas to choose from. Bakery & supermarket within 5 minute walk.
Review 10：First I didn't like is that the place was advertised as an rely expensive apartment with 80% discount and then there is old and not nice furniture and tiny old kitchen. The location is terrible if you don't have a car. It is almost nothing around. Also the beach is not good. They should clean it more often.

Review 12：Very close to the sandy beach, green territory, the kitchenette is very well equipped, quiet place ideal for calm rest especially with children, the hospitality of owners is at the very high level
Review 13：Derelict and abandoned hotel building site next door. But sit on the balcony on other side of the apartment or while on beach look out to sea and all's fine. Didn't really bother us. The price definitely makes up for it.
Review 14：Small establishment; close to beach, tavernas and local shops, very few tourists, no mosquitos. Good spot to do trips to Knossos, Southern beaches (Prevali, Kommos, Frangokastello), Rethymno, Chania. Get up early and go to Elafonissi and Balos. Rental car recommended as you can get to popular destinations before the crowds arrive and have that extra independence. Air conditioning worked a treat and having 3 balconies to choose from was great. If you are looking for an excellent base to start off from with clean sea on your doorstep for the days when you just want to sleep in and hang out, this is the one. If you're looking for lots of activity and fancy stuff, try elsewhere.

Review 38：We were in room 21 and WiFi was in poor condition (weak signal and veryoften went in reconnected state). In neighborhood is National road - solocation is rather noisy. Can't communication with hosts inenglish/german. It's not a cons but bear in mind: distance 9kmfrom Rethymno - ticket 1,6 Euro one way per person. One way Ticket fromChania Airport to Stavromenos 2,3 +6,1+1,6 (euro).
Review 39：Apartment (we were in two couples) with 2 separate bedrooms, bathroom ineach !!, 3xbalkons, nice beach, perfect tavern (eleven) nearby - askthem which beaches You should visit, really good starting location forthose with cars, cleaning 3 times per week, external rollers, Beachumbrella on equipment

Review 42：Not a good option for those who is looking for a bustle. Also there isan abandoned hotel construction on the left, which spoils a bit the viewsomehow.. For sure it would be great to put some efforts in veiling it,at least the side which is close to the hotel..like big poster or smthlike this.. Tip: would be good to have bus timetables for bothdirections placed in the room as well (and from the Rethymno stationalso). At the bus stops there are no signs, no schedule... So it tooksome time to understand the greek approach on public transportation :)
Review 43：Decent apartments for very, very reasonable rate.. I was particularlyhappy about the arch style, not that poor small blocks as most hotelshad there.. We stayed in the big two rooms apartment, having 3balconies was nice, a bit noisy due to the highway, but not that bigproblem as we then discovered.. Good system of airing and sunprotection in all rooms. The kitchenette was also fine.. (You shouldnot expect from Greeks to put microwave there :) Good sandy beach wasin 7 mins of walk, the beach is not crowded at all even in theseason..The water was much cleaner than is in the Rethymno area.Transport: buses each 30 mins, important to mention than one should getoff at the last stop in sfakaki, not in Stavramenos..it was a bittricky in the beginning to get there for the first time.. Nightlinersare also available each hour.. Staff: friendly internet: two free wifispots was nice to have and it was another reason for choosing thisapartment.. The speed was acceptable for surfing and watching mediumquality videos.. Food: two medium supermarkets nearby, lidl in 10-15mins by bus, local market several times a week in Rethymno centre..
Review 44：The beach is a bit stony (there's a sand part about 150-200 meter tothe left from apartaments) and not very clean - I stepped onbitumen/tar spot there on the beach (sorry guys for some amount ofthis substance in the bathroom, it was really hard to remove from theskin/things).

Easy to find, very good location, beach is just a fewmeters away, nice view, clean rooms, good beds, a/c works, wifi isfree and fast, plenty of parking space on the street. By the way,there is also a tavern nearby called Eleven, they serve extremely goodhome-made food and wine.
Review 49：Unfortunately next to the hotel there are a few deserted buildings which spoil the landscape. The stony beach was a bit dirty and not well laid out. The hotel is close to the main road, so it's a bit noisy if you are outside, but ok if you are inside. The kitchen is not well equipped: there isn't any oven nor microwave; I think at least one of them is essential if you are staying for a few days. No freezer, just a small fridge. Electric hob didnt' work properly. Cutlery was not enough: there were only two knives, no corkscrew, no tin opener...
Review 50：Akti Rooms consists of two identical buildings, one of them is closer to the sea, the other one is closer to the road. The location is ideal: close to the sea and close to the New Road which takes you to Iraklion on one side(in about an hour) and Rethymnon (in about15 minutes) and Chania (in about an hour and half) on the other. Our flat was on the first floor: spacious, two double bedrooms, both ensuite and they both had a balcony with sea view and tv. The kitchen is small, but there's enough space to cook and dine, there is a table with four chairs, but no sofa. The inside and the outside has just been renovated and I think a few things are new: shower curtains, cushions on the kitchen chairs... All balconies have a table and two chairs, which is really good if you want to eat outside. The flat was clean and bright, basic, but all in all for what we paid I would definitely recommend it.
