Reviews for Corinna Mare

Review 1:that we had to leave at the end of our stay as per plan, but we kept returning to eat at the restaurant inside :)

Review 2:- we fell in love with the food at the family run restaurant Corinna star especially the souvlaki and the sea food pasta (mussel and shrimp pasta) - the hotel sea/beach front (not sandy but rocky beach) is absolutely beautiful and is well built as shown in the pics - two pools and plenty of sun loungers and shower - again the restaurant is facing the sea and is the best bet for traditional Greek food - spacious apartment ( we went for the new apartments not traditional but the latter is also ok (road is not so noisy) - tastefully furnished with small but furnished kitchen - large balcony with garden or sea view to sit and relax ( we went for a garden view) - gave us late checkout for free - breakfast was massive and tasty - free. Wifi all around the hotel area even in restaurant and pool side and beach Would love to stay again

Review 3:This was our third visit. The staff make Corrine Mare. They are genuinely warm and welcoming & help in any way to ensure you have a great break. Katherina + Rosmaraki at reception are kind and helpful. The cleaning staff are lovely and work very hard. Yannin and his family are great hosts, cooks & guides and the fish is a speciality. Breakfast is€6 and importantly they serve from 8 until 11 or 11.30 if you want a rest! For families, I think the option to have breakfast in your room saves money. There is no sandy beach but the steps to the pontoon lead you crystal clear water. I recommend you wear shoes & a snorkel! We have stayed one rooms- the garden view (quiet and modern) the old house( spacious, great kitchen but a bit noisy) and this time a sea view which is my favourite and worth the money. The bed linen, towels etc are great and unlike our current hotel in nearby Kalyves, the safe and beach towels are free. The hotel is a great spot for exploring, the shop opposite has milk, yes, fruit & water at reasonable prices. We didn't eat in the local restaurants in this trip but the local pizzeria is good. The local pharmacist is excellent if you have any medical needs. We hired a car at the airport from Avis as the car is at the terminal and it saved us a taxi ride. We deliberately go on Oct to avoid kids! Even so, this is a very family centres hotel with mostly Scandinavian families at this time of the year. All of the kids were well behaved!! The bus to Chania is a good option even if you have a car hired as parking is a bit of a problem. The service is reliable and easy to navigate- reception will help out. We have touted the East of the island and the South towards Ag Galini. The botanical Gardens are also worth a trip.

Review 4:Only think I didn't like was leaving

Review 5:Relaxed atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, great value restaurant with excellent tasty food, rooms with everything you could need. Staff really helpful. Lots of little extras such as books on the area, library of reading books.

Review 6:The only negative is that its on a busy road but you don't hear any traffic noises once you are through the gates!

Review 7:Its close to quite a few very nice restaurants. The staff are very friendly and super helpful! I would recommend dinner on the decking, watching the sunset!

Review 8:Staff were friendly and helpful, large comfortable room for the money, good location, parking, bus service to Chania, breakfast was good. Nice pools and the sea for swimming!

Review 9:Our first stop in our Greek island adventure, Corinna Mare set the bar high with amazing views, incredible service and a private waterfront experience. The rooms were large, immaculately clean and provided all the comforts of home. The wifi was great, the AC easily controlled, the bed incredibly comfortable and the terrace a great place to enjoy the sunset and a glass of wine. There are two pools, tons of loungers, a snack bar and an incredible restaurant right within the hotel grounds. Strongly consider the half board option as breakfast and dinner were amazing and we ate here twice every day! Located 100 ft from a bus stop into Chania, it was an easy access point for beaches, restaurants and tours.

Review 10:bed blanket wasn't set up on the bed. I don't know if it's Greece's common set up for a bed but I'm so used to have sheets & blankets together so I felt a bit weird when we slept on the bed.

Review 11:the view from pool & restaurant is stunning. staffs are awesomely kind. we went there for our honeymoon and we liked there so much!!

Review 12:Bathroom was two stars. Shower had very old curtain, floor didn't drain well.

Review 13:Incredible pool and view, very good restaurant. Incredibly accommodating staff. Excellent wifi. Blue bus gets you right in to old town. 40 minutes to epic beaches. 35 euro per day car rentals at reception. Really great views, recommend breakfast

Review 14:The AirCondition right above the bed, Crete is surrounded by beautiful sea which one doesn't see at this place.

Review 15:The satff is nice, rooms are nicely furnished.

Review 16:Young children uncontrolled by their parents and still out, shouting and diving in the pool at 11.00. Lots of the guests smoking. Not enough sun-beds - although many were covered with towells all day but never used!

Review 17:Really friendly and helpful staff. Closeness to local restaurants and town. Lovely hotel bistro with excellent food and charming staff. In spite of our "dislikes" we very much enjoyed our stay.

Review 18:Great hotel, clean and modern. Staff were so helpful. The restaurant on site is great and we ate breakfast and lunch there most days. Location is right on the sea and you feel very relaxed. There are some decent restaurants just down the road and a bus which takes you to Chania / other places.

Review 19:We have no complaints

Review 20:The staff were very obliging and helpful. The studio flat had a fantastic deck to enjoy in the evening and a king sized bed. The pools were lovely and the rocky beach had a shelf which allowed you to swim without the waves being too rough. The hotel was very close to the bus stop into Hania and there were 3 bars on the beach within a 1 minute walk that provided great beach and amenities and you got to use their sandy beach if you bought something.

Review 21:The hotel grounds and the staff were amazing. The pool area next to the sea, the cleanliness of the room, the comfortable bed, the modern look of the room and specially the restaurant were just amazing. I did not have an issue with the wifi as other reviews indicated, but I did noticed it was stronger in reception area. I would recommend and would love to return.

Review 22:This hotel staff went above the call of duty looking after us. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The facility were great. Perfect for a couple of days away.

Review 23:No real private beach : rocks, no way to go to the sea from your room. Nice swimming pools. Double bed ... with no sheets/linen! First time ever I've had this pb in a hotel !

Review 24:The atmosphere was calming, pool area and bar, excellence to the restaurant, reading room, friendly people. I felt a nice difference compering to other apartments where we stayed in past holidays.

Review 25:All staff were extremely friendly and polite. Food was excellent and the view of the sea was fantastic. Studio very clean and well equipped. Easy access by bus into Chania.

Review 26:Took an old (traditional) room by mistake - but we were aboe to switch. Otherwise it wold have ruined the stay.

Review 27:Small, quiet, beautiful view, good restaurant, pleasant staff

Review 28:It is about 15mins drive to the west oh Chania so you have to make a special trip to visit there. Not much in the immediate locality so you need a car to explore

Review 29:Small comolex of apartments in lovely grounds backing onto a rocky shoreline. Terrace has two pools, a small gravel beach then decking over the rocks from which you can climb into the water. Beds comfortable. Location good for exploring West Crete. Staff very helpful. Restaurant good, especially the breakfast which has delicious spread of fresh Cretan produce.

Review 30:The curtain in the bathroom smells really bad due to the wet..

Review 31:Beds are good, wifi was ok. Dinners were delicious & good price compared to the quality.

Review 32:Beds are amazing, staff are very helpful. The food is out of this world and the viewis stunning. New bar is great to watch the sunset and enjoy a few cocktails

Review 33:Nothing

Review 34:The hotel was better than expected even though the reviews were amazing. Excellent value for money, the staff are so friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar were great, and swimming pools were lovely. The infinity pool with the sun bathing area by the sea are just perfect for relaxing. Rooms were lovely and spacious, clean and well equipped. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

Review 35:Bathroom was a bit of a squeeze, but well appointed and clean. Car parking was hit and miss, I should imagine that in the very busy season you would need to park on the road, which isn't really a problem. Toiletries a bit basic, ok for the men I suppose!

Review 36:Staff were very helpful and friendly, we felt that our stay was valued. Room was spacious and clean with a balcony. An airer was provided for drying wet clothes .Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and could sit in or out. The gardens were very pretty and well kept. A very comfortable place, right by the sea with lovely views. Although it is on the bus route, you need a car as there isn't a lot to do in the immediate area.

Review 37:We arrived late and our airport transfer wasn't waiting but fortunately we had some euros and just grabbed a cab.

Review 38:The staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. The sun lounges and view of the ocean were beautiful. The cocktail bar staff made some excellent drinks and I cannot rave enough about the Restaurant. It was better than any food we ate anywhere else and Yannis the manager even helped organise my wifes favourite dessert as a surprise. Also I would say that bed was one of the BEST I have ever slept in. Seriously.

Review 39:The staff in the hotel and the resturant are all very nice and helpfull people. We can really recommend the food in the restaurant, both breakfast and dinner.

Review 40:No complaints at all

Review 41:The accommodation is very clean. Fresh towels every other day. The location and setting is like a five star hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The restaurant food is amazing. Excellent value. They happily did all the dishes in a child size portion. We will definitely be returning as soon as possible. Loved it

Review 42:The location and site were amazing! We had a nice view of the ocean from our balcony, but next time we stay, we'll upgrade to a ocean room. The salt water pools were clean and nice, but a little cold. We didn't eat at the hotel, but it's within walking distance of a few good places. A taxi into old harbour is about 8€, or it's right near the bus stop. The staff were very helpful in arranging a last minute tour to elafonisi beach, which would've been the same price had we just taken the city bus. Overall, we'd love to come back one day!

Review 43:- parking is not actually private as it says in the hotel description. The hotel has limited amount of designated on-street parking (for c.6-7cars)

Review 44:- beautiful rocky beach, good for snorkelling, luxury environment - good breakfast (including omlettes and sausages) with a view to sea - good rooms - we found some good places to eat nearby, so location pretty good

Review 45:Just a point of caution if you book the Traditional rooms: they are quite dated. It wasn't a problem for us because we were in low season and able to move to another room. All good.

Review 46:Corinna Mare is a beautiful hotel with the most wonderful staff; a dreamy sun deck built out over the sea; a bar area providing the most amazing sunset aspect; a connecting restaurant serving delicious food from the friendliest of staff. If you are looking for nightlife and noisy bars, this is not for you. Its a great place to relax and use as a base to explore west Crete with some local restaurants in walking distance.

Review 47:The hotel itself was like paradise but if you ventured outside there was not such a nice beach and all area very touristy.not like the real Crete we had traveled in the previous few days.

Review 48:The hotel reception staff and staff in restaurant were fantastic the hotel itself was amazing . Our highlight there though had to be happy hour cocktails in most beautiful bar watching the sun go down over the sea a few yards away. We shall certainly book this hotel again.

Review 49:No bad experiences

Review 50:We loved the freedom of making our breakfast and having it on our balcony. We loved our room; it was great to have the restaurant there, and the friendliness of all the staff, the cleaners, the reception, and Iannis and his sons in the restaurant.

Review 51:Wish we had stayed here longer

Review 52:Loved everything. Hotel is exactly like pictures, if not better. We were upgraded to a suite. Yannis and all the staff (esp girls at reception) were lovely and so friendly. Cocktails by the pool. Taxi is only €9 to Chania.

Review 53:Nothing to fault

Review 54:Lovely location, 100m from a beautiful beach and opposite the bus stop into Chania old town. Incredibly friendly and generous staff. Large, clean and pleasant room. Good facilities and excellent on site restaurant.

Review 55:The mosquitoes so come prepared! (not the hotels fault) The narrow stairs were hard for me because I was injured already. Just be careful. The stray cats. Again, not the hotel's fault, but the cats shouldn't be fed by guests. Some of them were spunky and were batting at our feet. One kept jumping into one of my kids' laps, but she's afraid of cats so it wasn't good for her. It was so funny that we found a Cretan magnet with a similar cat under a table. lol! The only problems were natural problems. We actually loved it at this hotel!

Review 56:Urania Rosmaraki is a gem! Awesome for the staff/reception! Our ferry arrived very early, but she let us hang out until it was ready, or to take another room. We decided to wait, when we left to find a store, the room was ready. Great room. A chance to separate for a moment from our kids with the split floor plan like an apartment. They are right on the water. The whole place looks like an apartment complex. Pretty view of the sea. two nice pools although too cold for me, but our kids had a great time. Didn't see the gym facilities or anything else, but the restaurant with Yanis was really good food. We chose to keep eating there. Our kids loved the desserts (of course). We loved the seabram fish. So good! They took really good care of us.

Review 57:There was nothing negative only positives.

Review 58:We loved the location of the hotel and the facilities of the hotel . Its a stroll to lovely restaurants where the food is served fresh and just feet away from the sea. The views from the hotel are amazing and the atmosphere is great fro a relaxing break. The restaurant food is fabulous and very reasonable and all in all we cant wait for our return to this beautiful hotel and to Crete.

Review 59:Nothing.

Review 60:Within easy reach of Chania but not surrounded by other tourist hotels, Corinna Mare is in an idyllic location. To eat breakfast a few yards from clear blue sea in sunshine is a really special experience. Yannis and his family, who run the restaurant as a separate business, really made our holiday. He is so friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble, different meals from the printed menu are no bother, just ask.

Review 61:I absolutely loved to chill on the deck rather it was having a breakfast in the morning with the sea view behind or having a glass of drink in the evening listening to the waves. Surroundings are beautiful....well built backside deck area with swimming pools and tanning chairs.

Review 62:we stayed for a week at corinna mare in april & had an absolute wonderful time. the staff is wonderful & very helpful, the location is great (we had a rental car, which worked well for us) & the view of the sea & the pool there is just incredible.... corinna mare is a very special place. the restaurant makes it very special too, we loved the food & yannis & his sons are very welcoming, helpful & really go out of their way to make sure everyone is taken care of. overall, we had a very wonderful stay & if we're so lucky to make it back to crete we will stay there again!!

Review 63:Everything was very good, Nice view, clean and confort bedrooms, friendly staff, good traditional breakfast good dinner restaurant... Near to Chania Town (5-10min car)

Review 64:Wifi was really really really pathetic. It was absolutely nonexistent. One would not expect such pathetic quality from any hotel. Please fix this problem. It spoiled the while experience.

Review 65:Location was beautiful. However, note that it appears to be have a private beach but not really. There is no sand. You land directly into the bay water. Staff was very very helpdul.

Review 66:We were the first c customers to arrive for the season, it was very quiet, the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, the restaurant was amazing! We ate there almost every night!! Would definitely come back again!

Review 67:Actually, there are no really negative things except for the following minor ones: - As we stayed there for 3 nights only, we don't know if the internet connection is dysfunctional on a regular basis. However, in our case during the 3 nights, the last 2 nights, the internet connection was not working properly, e.g. very slow or you could simply not load any websites. - The address of the hotel does not have a street number so that it was a little difficult to find the hotel with a regular GPS navigation system. The street is called "Old National Road of Kissamos," but this street is very, very long so that having a street number would have been helpful.

Review 68:In general, we really liked our stay at Corinna mare and we can highly recommend it due to the following factors: - Very good price for value - Beautiful view at the Mediterranean - Very friendly and helpful staff - Spacious and nicely-decorated rooms - Very good food served at the in-house restaurant - A nice pool right outside the restaurant Additionally, we think that the staff helped us select the right places to visit (for a 2-3 day trip) by car and these places were really awesome so that our trip to Crete was just a blast. (Bear in mind that you should rent a car for a Crete trip; otherwise, you would not see this great landscape) Furthermore, the family that runs the in-house restaurant makes delicious Greek and, in particular, Cretan food, which was also a fundamental component of enjoying our stay there. So, the hotel and the restaurant made us really think about returning to Crete for our next vacation.

Review 69:Out of season it's hard to get around by public transport. One bus an hour into Hania which did not stick to the posted timetable. We ended up renting a car. An attempt was made to break into it at some point while we had it, and when we returned the car the agency thought that it probably happened at the hotel, given its location. No hot breakfast the first morning we were there, and the gym was locked.

Review 70:The view is fantastic! And the bed was extremely comfortable.

Review 71:- Kalamaki at itself is not very beautiful

Review 72:- nice Pool Area, directly at the sea - clean rooms, very spacius and nice balcony - very friendly staff - supermarket next to the hotel

Review 73:In our "suite", the kitchen stuff was minimalist.

Review 74:Great people Great restaurant Great cheap buffet breakfast with homemade jam and unlimited fresh orange juice

Review 75:Our room was a little close to the road, and it didn't have a great view, but that didn't matter as the sea and pools were easy to get to.

Review 76:This hotel is right on the sea, with 2 swimming pools, gardens and an excellent restaurant selling fresh local food at a good price, the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful and the suite we stayed in was well equipped and ver comfortable,

Review 77:Our room (502) was ground floor at the front immediately adjacent to themain road and entrance to the hotel. The balcony offered no view and noprivacy at all as it looked onto the main highway and anyone enteringthe hotel complex looked directly into our room. The shower room wasrather tired with a dodgy shower head and broken door, but waterpressure was good!

Review 78:The room was large with a comfortable bed. We were met by a helpfulmember of staff who took us straight to the room although it was about1am. The pool and deck area are very pleasant although, the deck wasmuch reduced in size due to a recent storm apparently. There are a fewrestaurants within walking distance to choose from and its possible towalk round the bay to a sandy beach for swimming. The bus into Chaniawas cheap and efficient with the bus stop right by the hotel.

Review 79:The wifi was extremely spotty in the room. It was a significant inconvenience and the staff seemed surprised that we were having connection issue but nothing was done.

Review 80:Our room was decent. It was fairly basic, but it was good value for money. It is near the bus station, which gets you into town. The staff was generally helpful. The breakfast for 6 euros was a great deal and the buffet selection was amazing. The sundeck was great, but part of it had to be taken down due to the weather and waves, but it was still nice.

Review 81:WIFI was week in our room.

Review 82:Receptionists were most helpful and sympathetic My wife had broken her leg earlier in the day which meant that we needed extra attention and the girls were both terrific !

Review 83:The only thing we didn't like was the fact we didn't stay longer.

Review 84:The restaurant and food was of extremely high quality. I appreciated the attention from the staff also. Fresh food and great tastes. Would recommend the hotel to friends and family. Origanly planed to dine out more often but thought the food at the hotel was a cut above the rest near by.

Review 85:The studio we booked was very spacious and had everything we needed. We had a lovely view of the pool and the sea with a nice terrace! We never wanted to go out of Corinna Mare during our stay. " Also you have to try the Corinna Star restaurant" - just perfect!

Review 86:Internet connection was poor sometimes

Review 87:Good location, not far from Chania and 50 meters from the sandy beach with lots of tavernas and cafes nearby. Clean room with new furniture and equipped kitchenette.

Review 88:Everything was superb! Great place, clean and tidy rooms, welcoming and warm staff, everybody tried to make the best of our visit. Also the food was super delicious in Corinna Star. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Review 89:We stayed here two nights during our homeymoon. The staff made us feel like home. The breakfast and dinner facilicities are of outstanding quality at a reasonable price. The bed was excellent and the room was spotlessly clean. We will return here, that's for sure!

Review 90:Maybe a slight lack of facilities for families - as the pontoon/pier area isn't really child friendly. But the families staying there seemed to be having an excellent time! A minor criticism!

Review 91:My partner and I had a excellent stay at the Corinna Mare. It exceeded our expectations and gave us a lovely, quiet base to explore Chania and the rest of Crete. The hotel itself was clean and modern looking. Our apartment was spacious and cool, with the essential air con unit - which was quiet and efficient. Despite our room being situated close to the pool area, we weren't awoken by outside noise at all during our stay. Facilities were excellent, especially the unique pontoon/ pier area with steps into the ocean! Perfect for snorkelling and cooling off. Staff were friendly and welcoming - especially at reception. Where they were very helpful in giving us information about the local area. Overall, excellent value. We would recommend to any aged couples or small groups who want a quiet, friendly place to stay near Chania. Superb!

Review 92:As a young couple, there were lots of children running around. May be better suited for families

Review 93:Loved the location, beautiful view of the beach and the suite was extremely clean. Staff was incredibly helpful!

Review 94:We were staying for our honeymoon. Loved the ocean view and lounging area very relaxing. We were upgraded to a bigger room on the first night when our room wasn't ready. The kitchen was very useful. Room smelled cleaned. Bed was comfortable. Good quality place. Staff was very helpful. Nice romantic dinner on the dock.

Review 95:The food at the restaurant was a bit overpriced but is optional if you want to eat there. All in all its a pretty excellent hotel.

Review 96:It's amazing. if you want to go on holidays and relax that's the place to be.

Review 97:Nope

Review 98:They have their own seashore, sunbeds are well maintained. Shaded beds, sunny beds, you can choose any types you want. Food is above average. Just crossed the street, there is a small but not that small supermarket, so you can buy something including big beach towel. I recommend this hotel to couples and families with kids.

Review 99:If you want to party, this is not your place. It was great for us but quiet if that is what you are looking for.

Review 100:The area with the sun beds couldn't be better, excellent view! Also the restaurant is a hidden gem, family run by such a lovely people with really good food, and a good price too! Not like all those other touristy places around Chania...

Review 101:Next to the main road, so some of the apartments can be quite (road) noisy. Ask from an apartment close to the pool area which is furthest away from the road.

Review 102:Close to Chania (about 5km from the Old Town), well located with holidY apartment feeling next to the beach. Older apartment that he has reasonably renovated. Friendly and helpful staff. Awesome sunset from the pool area.

Review 103:the wifi is a bit slow and the restaurant breakfast can be better

Review 104:The staff is amazing, the rooms are very clean and the public spaces are extremely well maintained and the hotel settings and surroundings are beautiful with great sea front views

Review 105:Modern accommodation and very clean. Arrived late and were accommodated with foods and drink. We went in September and accommodation was quiet. Perfect with the kids. Not sure it would the same with the apartments by the pool in the middle of summer. Super clean swimming pools and amazing view. We would highly recommend it and will definitely go back

Review 106:The cleaners made the beds every day but didn't clean dishes and left everything there, would have been nice to either have cleaning products or for them to have cleaned them. But overall really nice.

Review 107:Awesome swimmingpool and access to the beach! Room was super nice with little kitchen to cook.

Review 108:Corinna Mare was an excellent hote, with friendly staff, great food and facilities and really convenient location. We certainly come back and recommend that hotel 100%!

Review 109:Bathroom curiously 70's- adequate but a long time since I've seen tiles like these

Review 110:Room was comfortable with good lighting- not the horrible overhead florescent. Bed great, balcony (1st fl room) had good view of the sea. Would have stayed longer. Liked the pools and sea lapping at deck

Review 111:The wi fi could be better.

Review 112:Very nice location next to the sea. Very nice and clean poolarea, good free sunbeds. The hotel and the gardens are in good condition. The food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) in the restaurant was excellent. The restaurant delivered the food to our room at no extra cost, perfect when you have small children. Also very nice to have your dinner at the restaurant right next to the sea in the sunset. All the staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful. Short walk to the beach if you don't want to swim from the cliffs. We had a car during our stay and went on day trips to other lovely beaches not so far away. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Review 113:The downside was it is too far from the hotel, hard to find, and the walk is tiring to use the facility. We needed to rent a car to get around.

Review 114:The annex villa is beautiful and equipped well. Plenty of room for a family and more. Felt like a nice home.

Review 115:The breakfast was disappointing (but there is several minimarkeds close to the hotel, so we ate breakfast on our lovely balcony). All the sunbeds by the pool was taken before 8am!

Review 116:We really liked the room, the pools and the location by the sea! It is very familyfriendly, and we enjoyed that it is a small hotel.

Review 117:To go home :(

Review 118:Attentive, caring and very positive and nice staff all over the hotel - very proffessional but still personal and natural and and funny - I mean good humour, cool and nice to talk with --not "funny" in a ridiculous way. We felt really welcome from the first minute. Corinna Mare is a very beautifully located hotel, nice poolarea with a bar and nice restaurant. View is fantastic over the glittering sea and many guests enjoyed the hotelareas all day and night. We also spent nice time on the sunbeds in the grass area by the pools and in the bar plus on the fantastic woodenbridge from where you could take a nice swim ! It was so fresh ! We also went to the small but very nice Kalamaki beach just about 50 metres from the hotel. Free sunbeds and a few nice tavernas to eat your lunch just on that beach. Rooms at Corinna Mare were spacious with big comfortable double bed and modern nice decoration. Cleaned every day by the best cleanigstaff !! :) and they changed towels and sheets whenever you wanted. We felt very much athome in our fresh and clean studio. The view over the nice garden from our balcony we liked very much - many different trees and plants made it so cosy ! I can say a lot more positive about Corinna Mare and the staff but I think you understand we liked all and we will return for sure !!-The reception with Katerina and Ouerania was so helpful with everything - cannot thank them enough !!! // Lena, Jari and Mr Albin :))

Review 119:- About the hotel and the location... nothing really, I just didn't like we had to leave this place!!!! ;-) - Just be aware it may be windy in this part of the island and that might be a bit spoiling your sun bathing sessions

Review 120:-Great people running the hotel and the restaurant -Family atmosphere - Pleasant accomodation (renovated recently), well-thought out equipment especially for cooking - magnificent view on the sea - access to 2 swimming pools and to the sea directly from the hotel - bar and restaurant included in the premisses, friendly staff, very good food at the restaurant (good value for money) - very convienient location - supermarket accross the street and another one 5 minutes away

Review 121:Thank you Corinna Mare for great accommodation! Friendly and service oriented hotel. Good job Katerina, Uguana, Ari and staffs! The hotel is modern and romantic. Room is big with very comfortable mattress. The uniqueness of this hotel allows you to dine at its pool and deck area with amazing sunset view. Really unforgettable experience. We had halfboard at Yannis's restaurant (Corinna Mare Restaurant). Good quality meals and breakfast. We hope to come back one day.

Review 122:Google maps, the GPS we rented from the car rental company, and most people we asked, had no idea where the hotel was located. We accidently drove an hour too far. Lobby smells of smoke at night.

Review 123:Corinna Mare was well worth the 2 1/2 drive from Heraklion. The view is spectacular, and its a short drive to Chania. The restaurant owners Yani, his wife and his son, were delightful and so hospitable and the food at Corinna Star was impeccable. If you take the time to get to know them, they may sit and tell you a story or two, share their family recipies for special Greek schnaps & drinks. Yani even made sure we had a breakfast before we left at 5am for the airport. Front desk staff was pleasant and accomodating. The view, is stunning!! It looks just like the photos. The hotel room it's self was very nice, clean, modern, and a small kitchenette.
