Review 2：Absolutely gorgeous location and the hotel is beautiful. Perfect for our honeymoon! Swimming pool wonderful. Mrs Scoutari and her staff were so friendly, welcoming and always on hand to help out and give advice. We were lucky enough to have almost the whole hotel to ourselves and were given a bigger room than we had booked with a fabulous view. It is reasonable walking distance (10-15 mins) to the town of Scala with its restaurants and shops and also to a local beach with Taverna. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Review 3：The hotel & surrounding grounds where more beautiful than the pictures online can express. I was delighted by the detail and effort made to make everyones stay at Porto Scoutari as comfortable as possible. We had exceptional rooms with a sea view and on our large private balcony we had our own sun beds, it was exceptional. The pool was beautiful, private & well furnished. Brilliant!! and it overlooked the hillside down to the beach. Sunsets where amazing. The owner, Elina Scoutari & all the staff provided a welcoming atmosphere which carried on relentlessly throughout our stay. Its now a special place for us and we will return again and again, as the guests who were already there said, they had been holidaying there for many years, as long as this place is on this beautiful Island we will get back. Review 4：Excellent service! The staff was very friendly & willing to help. The location is amazing (very close to the center by car). The swimming pool with a great view to the sea made our stay even more relaxing. The breakfast was very good. It covers all tastes!

Review 7：Only One Day, But Worth the Stay We really enjoyed our one night stay here while in Patmos for a baptism. We loved the room decor & the large white colour bed! Breakfast the next morning was awesome with a delicious rice pudding ands Quiche Lorraine. Everyone was really professional and friendly. Meloi beach is short walk from the hotel with a nice Greek tavern. Fish was good. We highly recommend the hotel and next time we hope to go back for a longer stay.

Review 11：My partner and I have just travelled back from Patmos after staying at Porto Scoutari for 8 days. The hotel completely met our expectations and more. The staff were so lovely and helpful and gave us great advice about Patmos. The hotel and rooms were super clean and spacious and we especially liked the beautiful view from the balcony. The location was also perfect as not right in the middle of Patmos, just a short 15min walk down the hill. I would recommend hiring a moped or car so that you can visit all the wonderful places in Patmos. Looking forward to coming back and staying at Porto Scoutari very soon! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Review 15：We spent 6 nights in June at Porto Scoutari, and I can honestly say that it was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Elina Scoutari and her very hard working team do an amazing job of making guests welcome and comfortable. We were upgraded to a fabulous room overlooking the sea with a 4 poster bed and the most amazing views. The colour scheme of the hotel is the blue and white of Greece, and everything is kept spotless. Breakfasts are lovely with a wide range of choice, and snacks and drinks available all day until early evening. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the nearby beach at Meloi, and about a 15-20 minute walk to the main town of Scala, but cars and mopeds can be rented cheaply to enable you to travel around the island easily, and taxi's are widely available and inexpensive (4 euro from Skala to the hotel). Being out of town makes it wonderfully peaceful, and when lounging by the pool all you can hear is the sounds of birdsong, cicadas and the breeze in the palm trees (with the occasional evening squawk from Ari, the hotel's beautiful pet scarlet macaw). This is the perfect place for a honeymoon - and if like us you're 29 years married, it will still feel like you are on one! We are already making plans for our return trip. We were enchanted by Patmos in general, and this hotel in particular.

Review 16：Outside Skala, in a peaceful and green surrounding with a breath taking view, the Porto Scoutari hotel complex was a wonderful place for a relaxing short holiday. The hotel garden and facilities are well looked after and include a big pool, a beautiful garden and a rich breakfast. The hotel team is extremely helpful, friendly and competent. And in our large room we found a nice surprise on our arrival at 03:00 in the morning.

The rooms were very spacious and adequately appointed. Review 39：We arrived midnight in Porto Scoutari & I was amazed that they upgraded our room to a deluxe seaview room. Staff was really efficient & very respectful. The surroundings of the hotel was very tranquil & serene & you can tell that this place is well maintained. The following day, the owner of the hotel came back from Athens and gave us recommendations for local beaches to visit. It made our day truly amazing. It is a 5 to 10 min walk to the town of Skala. We had a wonderful time in Porto Scoutari & I hope that we would be able to return in the near future. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who will be visiting Patmos.

Review 40：A mesmerizing place to stay.. Wish we could stay more.. The hotel had a very relaxed atmosphere, classy, white,spotless and a reception full of amazing antiquities. Breakfast was amazing. The staff is warm, friendly and very helpful. The owner was very thoughtful and has taken great care of us. A romantic location and all the love we could get from the staff and the owner. Amazing view, close to Skala but far from all the commotion and the noise. Just a 5 minute walk from the beautiful beach of Meloi. A balanced location, a balanced hotel and a balanced staff. Review 45：Romantic is the right name for this hotel! We had a short stay in October as we were in the island to look for a quiet place to spend our honeymoon next June. We loved everything in this hotel. We had a romantic sea view room and breakfast was lovely, plenty to choose from, with home made breads. The owner offered us to stay as late as we want with no extra charge on check out date. We now know that our honeymoon is going to be a perfect one at Porto Scoutari next June.

Even though we didn't ask for they sent a ferry pickup and upgraded our room in return for a valid half an hour wait for our room to get cleaned as we arrived before checkin time.. Breakfast is full and happily resembles the Turkish taste with eggs, deli, tomatoes and feta... Very very happy about this hotel and will for sure come back

They helped us get a scooter from Billis for our stay,gave us great advice on what to see and do, arranged to meet us at theferry again with our luggage so that we could continue sight seeing.Every step of the way, from the moment we arrived, until we left theymade us feel like friends, rather than guests.
