Review 1：It's a brilliant hotel. It has won the first prize in an arhitecture contest. Unique design and very close to the beach where you can find also a nice taverna.

Review 2：Fantastic stay at Leivatho, in a peaceful area that allows you to relax and enjoy the crowds. Two great tavernas and a beach hut come cocktail bar by the awarded beach just 200yards away. Hotel and room spotless with a fantastic ever changing breakfast selection. The staff were fantastic, friendly and always happy to help. We had been looking all over the island for a tradditional Greek dish (Pastitsio) told by many we would be unlikely to find it as its quite unknown, however the hotel told us to leave it with them! They found a place made reservations and called to make sure some would be left for the time we arrived. Brilliant. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Amazing holiday.

Review 3：Avithos Beach is really 5 minutes away from the hotel. If you're staying more than a weekend you'd need a car to move to the other parts of the island...not all nearby spots are quickly reachable by foot.

Review 5：Loved this hotel. It is very close to the airport, and several really sandy beaches, and tavernas. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfasts were brilliant, and although we only had one evening meal in the hotel, it was delicious and a pleasant 'fine dining' experience in comparison to the tavernas. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and definately return.

Review 17：Fantastic service and friendly staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Very modern and minimalistic design. Food was delicious and all the ingregients were so fresh. Dinner menu was more for eclectic tastes. Two tavernas and the beach within walking distance. Close to main town of Argostoli.

Review 18：The wifi was quite patchy which they were really apologetic about, but apparently it affects the whole area in August as there are so many more people trying to get online at the same time. In any case, this didn't bother me too much as I quite liked being cut off!

Review 19：We have just returned from a week in Kefalonia and the highlight was definitely our stay at Leivatho. The staff were really lovely and couldn't do enough to help. Our flight home didn't leave until 10pm so they let us keep our room all day at no additional charge, which was really generous. The breakfasts were delicious - fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, pastries and even bacon and eggs for those who wanted it. The location is very peaceful and there are two good tavernas down the road as well as a lovely little bar on the beach where you can watch the sun go down. I would highly recommend it.

Review 22：Our room (suite) was the nicest hotel room either of us had ever stayed in. The hotel upgraded us from a regular room to a junior suite when we told them it was our honeymoon. The entire hotel is beautiful and very well designed. They also had a free jazz concert the first night we were there. The breakfast was incredible, the location was good and the staff were very helpful. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again (and again, and again)

Review 23：The hotel was beautiful, clean and run by staff, who are really helpful and welcoming. We felt at home immediately. Being so close to the beach and having the option of a couple of good tavernas nearby (as well as being offered beautiful food in the hotel) you really don't need to go anywhere - a haven of tranquility, highly recommended.

Review 25：Superb location, just 200 metres up from a blue flag beach (on an island where the best beaches can only usually be reached by a 40 minute drive, this was unique). The hotel itself a sort of Eco complex, large and spacious. Lovely pool with excellent sea view. Large, air conditioned rooms with great showers! Perhaps our most lasting impression must be the staff who couldn't do enough for you, were unfailingly cheerful and showed that the hotel is obviously a happy place to work as well as stay! The quality of the food was great too with excellent choices offered by the pool or in the restaurant all day and evening

Review 27：My first review of anything online ever. This place is a fantastic family run hotel. Everyone encountered was friendly and helpful, including the owners. They arranged cheap local car hire last minute and taxi transfers when required. The location is superb, perched on a hill with incredible views over the sea, surrounded by forest with wild and cultivated flowers with a short stroll to Avithos beach, which, in my opinion, is one of the best on the island.

Review 32：Just one small constructive criticism of the location regarding a slight litter issue. I shall be writing to Kefalonia Local Authority to complain! A once weekly sweep of roadside litter using a 2 man litter pick team would make a big difference to the amenity of the area. The hotel complex and grounds was free of litter and very well maintained.

Review 33：Fantastic place for a relaxing holiday (12 days at the end of September) away from the workplace and hustle and bustle of everyday life. Brilliant pool. Beach within easy (2 mins) walking distance of the hotel complex. Excellent managers and staff. Even the head cook had occasion to smile at times.

Review 37：it really was an excellent, relaxing holiday for us. we stayed in a beautifully styled, large and comfortable room and had a big, cozy terrace with jacuzzi. all in all, not only the room, but the whole hotel, the food, the location and especially the friendly staff led to a holiday experience, we will definitely book again!

Review 38：We had a studio apartment which was spacious and so clean it was great. There was also private courtyard which the sun hit beautifully so it was lovely to sit out there with a glass of wine. The beach is a 5 minute walk away and just lovely!

Review 49：Last year we had a room with sea view, which is very spacious and have a beautiful view, but we felt so comfortable due to adjacent rooms. This year we opted for a "suite with private garden" which gives you a lot of peace, privacy and relaxation. Just as I was a little disappointed with the room furnishings, which gives an unpleasant aspect. A mini fridge is not incorporated and that bothers night noise that makes, located in a bad way. Room layout, compared to last year, I no longer gave the impression of impeccable cleanliness. But the area where the camera is situated loved us, quiet and privacy, with greenery and flowers.

Review 50：We stayed a few nights last year at this hotel. Very close to the beach Avithos and the two taverns where food is very good. The room is very spacious, wifi which worked very well. Dining area and pool with a fantastic view.

Review 51：The garden suite we had had two twin beds pushed together instead of a double - so make sure you ask for a double. We were moved from the garden suites to the junior suite on the last night - this was supposed to be an upgrade, but I think we both preferred the garden suite. The view from the junior suite was incredible, but the bathroom in the garden suites was just so nice that we both felt a little underwhelmed. Breakfast was good but not excellent. We stayed at Leivatho for 4 nights, which was okay. Any longer and we both feel we would have been a little bored of the selections. Other than that, I couldn't recommend the hotel more!

Review 52：The hotel room was very nice, originally we were in the private garden suites. The rooms were huge, and the bathroom was perfect. If I were to build a house, that's how I'd have my bedroom. The staff were all brilliant and helpful, they arranged a few things for my girlfriend, and sorted us a hire car.

Review 66：Unfortunately our six night stay at the hotel had been very disappointing due to the misleading representations given by the hotel along with the description of their rooms. Although we booked the room described as "a superior studio with private garden" the room that we got on our arrival at the hotel not only did not match to the photos displayed along with the above description of the room, but did not even had a private garden let alone a window. The room was definately inferior and of lower value that the one we booked and paid for. It was in fact frustrating that we had to argue at the reception in order to convince them / make them admit that the room was not the one we booked. The only solution they could offer was to stay to that room for one night, then for another three nights to stay to what they informed us was a junior suite and then for the remaining two nights to another room which was actually the one we booked. From the three rooms that they moved us we could definitely establish that the last one was actually the one we booked and was also better than the "suite" they offered. However we only stayed to that room for the last two nights of our stay. Breakfast was average wifi didn't work in the 1st room

Review 119：It is a hidden gem in Kefalonia with the most attentive and friendliest staff we have ever come across. It is superbly located with one of the best tavernas overlooking Avithos beach that is within walking distance. Great hotel for couples with toddlers - the kids pool is safe and just the right size and Maria has a toy cupboard just perfect for little ones! It is a great find and will be telling all our friends about it!
