Review 1：There was no place for pedestrian walking much as the roads were mostly dark at night and used by the butlers cars to transfer people around the big resort. It would be better if there was a shop for groceries maybe instead of needing to leave the resort and find a market. There was not much to do in terms of activities and water sports even at the private beach.

Review 2：The butler service were always available. The location of the resort with the view was amazing. The staff and housekeeping were very nice, respectful, fast, and provided us with everything we asked for quickly. The privacy of the villa was great. The restaurants available and the food was clean and tasty. The spa was exceptional with privacy and very big rooms, great massage and lovely staff with warm welcoming.

Review 3：Perfect property with epic scenery, facility and staff. With no exaggeration, the resort itself is a place of sightseeing, as it is so large that a detour on foot may take up to 2-3 hours. The Rock bar, our cliff ocean-view villa, the restaurants and the edgeless pool directly facing the Indian Ocean are all just amazing. Lots of activities are also available as complimentary to villa guests. This includes the tennis (though we did not have time to try), a golf court, and others.

Review 5：The villas were absolutely perfect we stayed in a cliff beach view villa and it was amazing.. The facilicty of this place is perfect you can stay there and never leave its destination that i would go for again

Review 6：We came to Ayana for 2 days as part of our honeymoon trip. Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. It started from the first second we came. The check in was very slow and tiring. Our villa wasn't ready upon arrival, although we have discussed the time of our arrival with the reservation department over email before. The food in Italian restaurant is below average. The cleanness of the room could be a lot better. Once we left the villa for 4-5 hours and no one bothered to come and clean. When we entered and found the mini bar responsible person inside, he said to us that it is not their fault and it is our responsibility to inform them IF we want villa to get cleaned. Room service was also ridiculously slow (we had to wait for 40 minutes for a bottle of wine and cheese platter, which I have to say that cheese platter only included feta and cheddar cheese). Both a la carte and buffet breakfast are below 5 star hotel standards. The ingredients are primitive and food has lack of taste. Overall, we were very disappointed with the service. The staff consistently treats the customers as money bags. There is lack of communication and explanation about the facilities of the resort. It is such a pity because the resort and villas are beautiful and the management should really work on the service.

Review 11：I'm a fussy traveler in my business service to clients is the only thing, get that right and the rest follows. So I expect a lot, Ayana get this right on every level, the staff are very well trained, with out being in your face and our villa blow us away, I can't put it in words. Best advice go and you will get what I mean. The Buttler services was amazing and it was the little anexpected things that they do like little notes and flowers, swans and the I Love You seat at the Rock Bar plus loads more. My one pet hate in staying at resorts is they rip you off every time you open your mouth for some thing, that's not the case here all very good value for money. There's actually no need to leave the resort if want. Booking 3 trips there next year.

Staff are friendly and as villa resistance u will be having ur own butlers morning and evening till 23:00, they will provide u with a cellphone with a SIM card to make local calls without extra charges.

Review 31：We were there for only 2 days including Xmas evening and following party so it might an unusual period. However, the restaurant had a long waiting line in spite of a reservation ( you had to wait for the funicular to take you there) and this after having to nag for a table…. The quality of the food is at par with what you get on the “rubber chicken” circuit in the US and the prices are ridiculous! – best part is the breakfast…..so load up! The beach is probably the worst and most dirty we saw in Bali…in addition to a flurry of sand flies. As you take refuge to the pool you will have to cope with children screaming and jumping in the water…..nonstop, under the eyes of their benevolent parents ….we gave up and retreating to our villa. Our departure for Lombok would have been a disaster (no follow up on our request for two boat tickets) but for the intervention of the Guest Relation Director Suardana – who was able to connect us with Bali Air. We charter a helicopter flight to Lombok ($3,500 and a two hours wait to file the flight authorization - versus a $100 boat ride!) – You will land at the Oberoi hotel in time for lunch after a 40 minutes flight over the east coast of Bali and the Gili Islands…..beautiful!

Review 39：As villa guests, we can call our friendly bulter via a private handphone, to arrange unlimited buggy rides anywhere anytime in the huge resort. Free 30 min massage and drinks are given. Excellent views of cliffs and ocean view from many locations. The view on the way to private beach area is fantastic, some of my best photos in bali are taken there, no joke. From the rock bar, it so happen I took the best sunset video, a full round sun clearly descending to the horizon of the ocean, while enjoying the cosy environment and vibe. Highly recommend this resort over normal hotel stay elsewhere, as the resort is huge and have self sufficient facilities to stay in to a secluded retreat.

Review 40：I felt the website can be a bit misleading as to which villa is suitable. For example I booked an ocean view villa and only had a glimpse. I also didn't like being sent down in the cable car ,where u avoid the queue if u are a guest, to the Rock Bar only to have to wait in the sun below and was spoken to very rudely by the hostess.

Staff was super friendly, food and restaurants are good, very, very clean, great views, beautifully maintained resort and good internet all over the place. Review 45：The room which is called ocean view is far away from the ocean more than10 minutes walking and the room called cliff villa is 5 minutes distancefrom the ocean view and this was really disadvantages for medisappointing. If you are looking for the view you should book in frontvilla ocean view which is really expensive and you can find same serviceand view cheaper in other resorts. Also the pool villa was too cold andI could not swim since there is no heater ( my staying was on august)

Review 47：The price of everything . Cocktails between 15-20 Australian dollars . The food was a let down expected better . The pool staff were fantastic . Yet some Resturant staff seemed to stuggle with English . We stayed in a 2 bedroom ocean villa . The price was $1100 per night . Although nice , and was well kept , it was starting to show signs of being run down . In fact the whole resort is starting to look tired . Rimba the sister resort where you can use facilities of both seemed to be better value ! I would choose to stay there next time .

Housekeeping hadn't serviced our room by 2pm in the afternoon and we had to forceably call to get their attention. Review 56：Not a negative of the property but please keep in mind it's location in relation to Seminyak where the shopping, restaurants and bars are. It will take you 30-40mins to get there so the Ayana is great if you simply want to relax and stay put.

Review 57：The property is vast with incredible gardens and many pools. The butler service we received with our villa was incredible, nothing was too much trouble. The Rock Bar was simply stunning, set into the cliff and perfect for sunset cocktails. The buggy service provided was fabulous and we never waited more than a few minutes. Being able to use facilities at the sister hotel Rimba was a nice bonus. The kids loved the waterslide & activities like Batik Painting. This propery is totally wonderful and we will definitely return, we did have a villa which came with extra perks.

Private butler and buggy to go around the resort; priority booking of the day bed at ocean beach pool; friendly staffs everywhere you go! Review 113：As always Ayana resort is a wonderful place to visit for relaxation. The food is quite amazing. My favourite place to relax is the cliff side infinity pool, the beach is nice but the currents are very strong and you must be very careful. The accommodations are clean and and no detail is missed. The Rymba sister resort located is a cool place to visit and grab a bite to eat. The Rock Bar is always amazing, the sunsets don't get any better.
