Reviews for Art & Ski-in Hotel Hinterhag
Review 1:No jacuzzi in the wellness area, steam room not steamy, pool not as warm as I like.
Review 2:Friendly and extremely helpful staff who went above and beyond. Gorgeous hotel and so modern and cosy at the same time. Really good food in the restaurant. 30 seconds walk from the best apres bar in town. Awesome saunas.
Review 3:A hot whirl pool in the wellness are would have made this hotel my perfect stay.
Review 4:The staff was absolutely outstanding. Loved the art located throughout hotel. Wellness room was well appointed and had plenty of chaise lounges for busy time. Room looked out on the mountains. Breakfast and dinner had a wide variety of delicious food. Even had a room with fresh fruits and veggies and two juicers. Roof top sauna with a mountain view.
Review 5:Food at dinner - the quality and preparation of the food at dinner did not correspond to the price of the hotel (we had half board package). Spa facilities:sauna and pool too small compared to the hotel room capacity...
Review 6:Nice view from the room terrace, great breakfast, excellent staff on reception and in the restaurant, spacious room and bathroom...
Review 7:Value for money could be better, drinks prices are very high as was the price of the christmas dinner. Wifi is slow in the rooms
Review 8:Very comfortable hotel; excellent facilities and very friendly and helpful staff. Nice sauna and very good half board diner. Good choice / variety of food also for children.
Review 9:A little too far to walk back from town centre.
Review 10:Food, staff and easy access to slopes and the Alm
Review 11:The service in the restaurant could have been a little quicker
Review 12:The attention to detail both before our arrival and during our stay
Review 13:Would expect for this price better service.
Review 14:Design and location.
Review 15:Glass doors separating the apartment sleeping areas is not very private.
Review 16:staff were so helpful and the artwork and design means a unique setting
Review 17:Hot-tub would have been nice.
Review 18:Design, food, sauna, staff, village.
Review 19:Terrible breakfast. No glasses, no cutlery, not much choice. Clientele mainly groups of man, who are there to party. They drink and have fun at the Hinterhag Alm which belongs to the hotel. The problem with that is that you have completely drunk people in the hotel at night. While we were there a group broke into the hotel because they had lost their keys. Another night a bleeding guy was standing in my bathroom while I was in the bath tub. So clearly not for a family holiday. Food at the restaurant is les than mediocre.
Review 20:Rooms and SPA area are stylish.
Review 21:It's hard to leave the place.
Review 22:Easy access to the best after ski bar in the world Hinterhag Alm. Nice wellness area. Skiing to the door. Fantastic design.
Review 23:The Wifi service was very slow and could do with improving
Review 24:This is a stunning hotel in a prime location just off the slope next to the legendary Hinterhag alm apres ski bar. The staff were quite simply faultless and treated you like Royalty and nothing was ever too much trouble for them as they tended to your every request with a smile. The facilities at the hotel were first class for an alpine hotel. The pool area was beautifully done, as were the two sauna's, one of which was located scenically on the roof terrace. the massage service was a welcome relief after a few days skiing. We stayed as a group of 11 guests consisting of 3 families - 6 adults and 5 children and the kids loved it, especially the pool area. The hotel even provides complimentary toboggans. We stayed in the suites which were massive, stylish, and the views from the balconies were lovely and it really felt like home from home. Breakfast was lovely with a nice and varied choice. Dinner in the a'la carte restaurant was really nice with a large varied choice and at reasonable prices too, set in a very stylish decor. Little touches like providing bath robes and slippers to use in the wellness areas were a nice touch which accentuated the feeling of luxury and class. A big thank you to Kathrin, Petra, Alex and Peter for making our vacation a very special one and we simply can't wait to return as guests for the new year, when the hotel will be adding a new bar area to improve the standards even more.
Review 25:Sometimes the kids were a litlle bit noisy at the swimming pool. Mayby the sound proofing between "ruheraum" and the pool department could be improved a little bit better. So that you can relax at the "ruheraum". The price is a little bit on the high side
Review 26:We really liked the architecture and location of the hotel. Nice building located right off the slopes and only 10 minutes walk from the center of Saalbach. The staff was very helpfull and friendly. We had dinner three times at the hotel restaurant and the food and wine selection was fantastic. The Sauna and Wellness facilities were also nice and gave you a good chance to relax after a ski day. The rich breakfast buffet in the morning was also a good thing. This hotel was a good choice to stay in Saalbach
Review 27:The hotel was full of groups!!! We could not eat at the restaurant because of the groups!! The pool is small and it was always full with the group of russians and czechs men!!! When you pay so much money you don' t want a Hotel with noisy group of mens !! The hotel is far from the village so you need a car!! It is not a ski in - out hotel , you have to walk 150 meters to reach the slops .
Review 28:The hotel and the staff were excellent.

Review 30:Lots of noisy(!) guests in the lobby. Bad saunahabits with guests wearing swimshorts and such in the textile free sauna. Patchy WiFi.
Review 31:Look and general comfort of the hotel. Location is ok. Nice food. Very good breakfast.
Review 32:That there wasn't a complimentary shuttle provided to take visitors from the hotel to the village (Dorf)
Review 33:The decor and art The wood and interior design
