Review 1：Staff where hard to understand there was paint missing from the walls wall paper hanging off the room was tatty in places

Review 3：Where to start?! We booked two of the most expensive 'suites' for our stay. The rooms were filthy. Room service food was revolting. We paid over £250 for three treatments at the spa which were given to us by girls who had no idea what they were doing. Breakfast restaurant MANAGER walked past us three times and didn't acknowledge us at all while we waited to be seated. Finally Took our room numbers and pointed at our table without looking up from his sheet. Breakfast food was disgusting. Checkout staff were rude, condescending didn't acknowledge us at all(has no one been taught the BASIC lesson of saying 'I'll be with you in one minute' or is it now the norm to stare at your computer and answer phone calls while totally ignoring a customer standing directly in front of you??). the phone rang, one receptionist would take the call with an attitude, finish the call, roll her eyes and let out a sigh as if it was too much hassle for her. Right in front of all the customers waiting to be seen to!! The only person who was polite, attentive, and warm was Maria on reception when I came back to get my charger that I had left. All in all probably the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I paid over £500 in total for ONE nights stay in this supposed "luxury" hotel and got completely ripped off.

Review 11：While we stayed there for the weekend, no one cleaned our room for the entire stay even tho we put out the sign, the food tray was left outside the door for a whole day before someone finally took it. When checking out I checked the invoice, we were charged for breakfast for both days while we never had any breakfast! This was just sneaky and wrong! so fellow travellers please make sure you check your invoice!

Review 12：The spa facility and treatment were very good, I recommend thergal products, very nice. The spa itself has full facilities and are clean too.

Review 13：The bed in the room was too soft. I ordered egg Benedict for breakfast and the hollandaise sauce was literally poured over the whole plate and the ham although two whole pieces were there, they were not folded so it looked like it was just thrown in the muffin. The staff were great in the restaurant but on this occasion I think the chef needs to learn how to plate food up. I would have expected this presentation in a greasy cafe. having said that it did taste good.

Review 14：We had trouble with not having birthday gift in the room. I had phoned the day before and got transferred 3 times and then told I didn't have a booking despite having e mail confirmation. Eventually I phoned again and spoke to the manager who told me the gift would be in the room ready for our early check in at 2 pm. Next day partner arrived at 2:15 and her gift was not in the room. I asked the manager to phone but an hour later still no phone call or any sight of gift. Ruined my surprise and staff were rude when I asked them about it. Can't fault hotel but staff have lost custom and we will return to the Hilton.

Review 16：Everything about the hotel was more than we expected. We had a lovely time. It was my husbands birthday and they wished him happy birthday and left chocolates in our room for him, which was a nice touch.

Review 28：Everything about this hotel revolves around luxury. The spa facilities are wonderful. The food, choice of wines, the staff and the rooms are fabulous. Nothing is too much trouble and they made our wedding anniversary even more special with little surprises such as 'happy anniversary piped in chocolate around the edges of our dessert plates and a surprise box of chocolates as a gift. We got similar treatment on my husband's birthday earlier in the year. This is our favourite UK hotel and we can't wait to come back again.

Review 29：Lots of children in pool up until 5pm. Didn't feel much like a spa until they had gone. Reception added breakfast to our bill, when we only booked room only. When I pointed it out, she said oh that's standard and then deducted £30 off. Why couldnt she off done that first.

Review 40：I booked a spa treatment weeks ago before i arrived and did not get a confirmation that it was actually booked. I was late for my treatment that day since my travel plans have changed and i was not aware due to no confirmation i had to pay for the cancellation fee and only got a 25 mins treatment with a therapist who had her nails scraping into my skin! I tried to rearrange the treatment for the next day and they said nothing is available and after i had my treatment i overheard a woman trying to book for the same trreatment the next day and they gave her a slot. What kind of service is that? To top it all off the receptionist in the hotel seems like she doesn't know what to charge or how many times i ordered room service. I dont know how they run this hotel but such a waste because it actually has nice facilities. Aside from the most uncomfortable bed where in the middle of the double bed you feel the 2 single beds joined together and the flat sheet comes too short for the bed so it comes off on the sides and the duvet is very thin and the room was very cold. Just didn't expect this. I chose to stay here because of the rating and i was expecting a very good service but it's just bad. I could have just stayed in a holiday inn could have been better and cheaper too.

Review 44：The television reception was very poor , with only 4 channels. I had hoped for a HD ready Tele. They tried to charge us twice for breakfast on departure. They had run out of loads of the breakfast options. (on a sunday morning). We had a late check out and were not told of the hourly charge for this service. We were asked to pay another £30 on departure.

I went to a friend's room in another wing which had air conditioning, a view, and was quite nice. we were in the 'attic' rooms, with granny linnens, looking over the trashcans and with no a/c. (picked the place for a/c) beds hard as rocks. stay away from the short wing that sticks out on the right. either the 400 rooms or the rooms that are less than the number 5....

Review 63：like the location. don't like their 'game'. we made reservations 1/28 for stay 9/13. were put in inferior rooms. we were moved to a/c wing but we had to ask and insist. they said that the 2 rooms had 'just opened up from a cancellation'. I don't believe them. They put us in inferior rooms because we did not book directly thru them. rather than an apology they asked my husband if I needed a drink. really?!?!
