Review 1：Rudolf and his wife are great hosts! They welcomed us warmly, gave us a nice upgrade and helped us with finding a property. They drove us where we wanted to be, and advised a great restaurant. After checking out, they took us to the bus stop, 10 km away. Moreover, the guesthouse is located in a beautiful area. We had a great time at their guesthouse.

Review 2：The owner was very friendly. The apartment was clean and exactly as described. Not far from Plitvička jezera - with great facilities for children around the house. Highly recommend.

Review 5：Not being able to find the place as it was called Rudolf Rubčić, not Villa Rubčić! Confusing and annoying when tired after a journey. We had no hot water and asked several times, eventually being told we needed to wait for it to come through- it did. The breakfast area had an overflowing bin in it which was not emptied at all during the 2 days we were there. Lastly, we only had 1 loo roll and had to ask for another, using gestures due to the language barrier. Embarrassing and unnecessary - leave a couple out? Oh, and the narrow concrete stairs to the upper floor were narrow and uneven. Most of these small points are easy to improve and would have resulted in a more positive review

Review 8：Price was very low, cheapest we had ever in Europe... Owner was very helpful - at 22:30, baked a frozen pizza for us which we brought thinking there will be a microwave in room. Room was ok with nice balcony. Free parking. Good wi-fi. Very close to Plitvice national park.

Review 10：The big bed seems to be very comfy, but the mattress is really hard so we didn't sleep so good ! Also, the bathroom is a bit small & we had some problems to have hot water on the morning...

Review 11：We were 3 on a room for 4 adults & 2 children so it was spacious enough for us :-) But if you really are 6 it can be hard (because of you have to sleep on 2 small couch/beds, so it's not so comfy). The little kitchen is nice, and it's good to have warmers & blankets when it's a bit cold !

Review 12：Hard to find, but that's more the fault of Google Maps than the property. The address given by Booking.com is Ostarski Stanovi 107, 47245 Rakovica, Croatia. Here's what you need to know about this: The city would seem to be Rakovica, and the street would seem to be Ostarski Stanovi, but that's not the case, as Ostarski Stanovi is a village name, and each house has it's own number. Rakovica is both a city and a county (or county-like) name, so you need to drive through Rakovica (coming from the south) until you reach Ostarski Stanovi, and then there'll be a small, wooden sign on the main road pointing to the villa (really just a large house). Check-in was a little interesting as I think it was done by the landlord's teenage daughter. I had to ask a lot of questions (how to pay, when to pay, etc.), but we got things worked out. She did speak passable English, though. Property advertised that it took credit cards on Booking.com, but I had to pay cash (they said their credit card processing machine was broken, would could have truly been the case). This wasn't a problem for me, but the room was accessed via a partial spiral staircase behind the garage. It could be a pain for some people to lug suitcases, etc., up those staircases and to the room. The rooms are obviously old (but clean), and the TV was positioned in such a way that you couldn't really watch from the bed or from the couch (little European rooms tend to have this problem).

Review 13：The price was definitely right. I was there during the off-season, but still, it's hard to complain about a room one gets for $23.00 per night, especially considering some of the other good things. Wi-Fi was great. I had to go and bother the hosts to get the password, but the speed was great (I might've been the only guest, so that could've made a difference). I streamed some of a basketball game and could watch full-screen on my laptop, so I was happy. Good location if you're there to see Plitvice Lakes National Park. The villa is about 15–20 minutes from park entrance №1. The village (see the negatives section for a bit more about the location) is near Rakovica, which was home to a restaurant and grocery store (with an ATM). The villa itself is off the main road, so somewhat secluded, which was nice. My room had a balcony. The apartment was clean (although old). Overall, the experience was good, like my title indicates, and I would consider staying here again, but would look elsewhere first.

Review 57：When you pay such a low price you expect to get just a place to sleep, and that's what is missing here. The thing they call "bed" is just a wooden plate with a thin layer of rubber on top of it. If you stay there, make sure you're really tired, otherwise you'll not be able to sleep normally even half a night. Bottom line: don't let the pretty pictures of the rooms to mislead you. It looks nice, but totally useless.

We stayed in this bedroom fortwo days and our mood was down afterwards. The Host does not speakEnglish, we had to wait a few times in front of the door to get answersfrom her 10 years old daughter. The water was cold twice in the morning.We could hear the noise of the cars on the main road which is 30 metersaway. Finally, it took 15 min to get a receipt while it was impossibleto pay by credit card !!! I do not recommend this place at all. Thebreakfast was poor. It does not worth it.
