Review 1：The kitchen is small, and it was a bit hard to find the kitchen tools.
Review 2：Located in a quiet area (not on the main street like other apartments down to Plitvicka Lakes). The heating is excellent. The rooms are big.
Review 3：The beds are too old and it gives creepy sound for any single move u made on it. So basically can't sleep at all the whole night

Review 6：The location is great, you'll be at the Plitvice National Park in a quick ride (15 mins). The apartment was really good, surrounded by a relaxing, green landscape. We were welcome by a very kind guy that gave us a hint on how to visit the park.
Review 7：Although we ordered breakfast, we have told when we arrived that there is a problem and the owner suggested two alternatives - restaurant or supermarket. Bed was extremely squeaking with every movement. Paying with credit card costs 2% more.

Review 11：With great host family (including the grandparents) you'll feel like at home, and get the feeling of how it is to live there together with nature. Very good for kids - a few swings and other things, bikes... Great place in central location just between Rastoke and Plitvice lakes, and several more things to see.
Review 12：The area is very clean, green and spacious with fresh air and blossomed trees in May. The owners welcomed us with a local drink and have been very friendly and helpful speaking perfect English.

Review 15：Fantastic view. Excellent breakfasts. Possibility to sit out and enjoy the view. It is really quiet, enough far from main road to be silent, but in walking distance to the nearest bistro to easy have have a dinner. It was a big advantage for us. It was pleasant after more hours drive in a cold rain at the arriving the welcome drink and the nice warm apartment with a hot shower. The friendly owner was always available if we would have any wish or request.
Review 16：Bathroom shower head (heavy) kept falling out of it's holder causing bruises on two of our group. A few more kitchen bowls would be welcome.

Review 21：It was ver y difficult to find the placer. On the road there is a big panel with a lot of name of differerents apartmemts and it's a little bit complicated to see the name. They don't leave shampoo so you have todo bring it.

Review 24：Ruhige Lage was lovely! We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment (2 adults and 2 kids) that was fabulous. The accommodation was very comfortable and we loved the balcony are with the large picnic table for eating dinner and the rocking chair for relaxing. Having other families there to talk/play with was very nice after our 2 weeks in Croatia. The owners are very nice, gave great advice for the park, and definitely try their homemade liquors. Lake Plitvice is about a 10 minute drive away and it was a fabulous day. We did the 5+ hour walk (I have a 8 and 10 year old) recommended by the owner and couldn't have been more happy. Oh and the food at the park where you catch your boat is actually quite good and very reasonably priced. We ended eating that instead of the cold cuts we brought.
Review 25：Excellent place to stay in the silence and familiar atmosphere. Lazy surrounding ideal to take a rest after crowdy trip to Plitvice Lakes. Only 10-15 minutes by car to the park.

Review 27：The apartments are located about 15 minutes from Plitivice Lakes on a quiet country road. You can enjoy beautiful views while having breakfast on a terrace. The owners are very friendly (welcome you with a home-made drink), they speak English and are very helpful in general.

Review 46：We received a warm welcome with lovely, free homemade spirits. We were each supplied with free bikes to explore the local area and given hints and tips on the best cycle routes. We were given some good guidance regarding the lakes and appreciated the staff speaking English. They were very polite and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our clothes needed washing as we were backpacking, and the staff even washed our clothes for us. I would most definitely return again.

Review 52：I would not recommend Ruhige Lage to anyone until the owner fixes thebeds. My wife and I got terrible sleep as the beds creed when youslightly move in them. They are terrible and need to befixed/replaced!! Do not go to this place until the owner assures youhe has fixed the beds. Seriously!!

Review 55：It is a very nice and quiet location. Very friendly owners. The room was clean and had enough space. There is a possibility to sit on a terrace with a roof. From the accomodation it is a 15 minute drive to the Plitvice lakes. This is a "must do". Sometimes the owner can serve breakfast. When not there is a very good breakfast buffet in a restaurant, 400 meters away.

Review 68：The beds were really hard so I did not get a good sleep :-( It was a bit odd to have a fridge in the room but no other facilities - on the website it said there were coffee making facilities but we had to ask for these to be brought over and then the coffee maker made cold coffee.

Although therooms were basic they were clean and comfortable, the breakfast wasplentiful and slightly different each morning, delicious bread, withhome made honey, omelettes made from eggs laid by his own hens, homecured ham, the list could go on, well worth the extra 7 Euros. The viewfrom the drive was of unobstructed countryside, and ideally situatedfor the Lakes.
