Review 1：need to rent a car, to travel comfortably around.

Review 2：Staff is amazing. hotel is a bit on the side (but just on the sea line) so it's quite and cozy. Would highly reccomend to anyone wishing to relax from the city buzz.

Review 10：The rooms are very nice and spacious, the beach is right next to the hotel and is clean and peaceful, and the best thing is the staff - friendly, welcoming and helpful. It was all much more than we expected!

Review 11：We were completely dissapointed with this hotel, I cannot understand why it has a rating of 9.2! In fact this was the reason why we picked this hotel the worst was food, it was awful, repetitive. No activities for children, it is not sandy beach, a lot of stones, plenty of mosquitos. Absolutley not good value for money!!!

Review 17：We didn't realise until the 4th day that we could have a kettle for our room (but we had to request this) so we were unable to have tea/coffee in the morning until we went for breakfast. There is not a lot around the hotel but we had anticipated this and hired a car so got out and about.

Review 18：The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean. The food in the self service buffet was fresh and varied and a lot of local cuisine to try. We did eat out a few times but that was just to have a more intimate restaurant ambience as the hotel faciltities are a bit more canteen like. There is not a lot round about but that suited us fine and we hired a car to explore further afield (would recommend this). There were always ample sunbeds both at the pool and on the beach. An overall great experience, thanks to all at Silver Beach!!

Review 26：We had an amazing week at Silver Beach from the moment we arrived until the moment we left the staff did everything to make our stay pleasant. the room is spacey and convenient, the swimming pool is beautiful, the food is great and healthy (they can make lunch bags), the beach is nice, although it was rough most of the days, nice playing ground for the children and again, above all, the staff were amazing! Highly recommended

Review 27：Location was just by the sea but when we were there there were big waves. It was diffucult and dangeorous to swim. After 3 days the weather became better and it was ok. Swimming pool was small and there were many kids with seabeds. Air condition was insufficient and the system was old but the weather was windy so it did not become a problem. Wifi was not good in some parts of the room. Safe in the room was with a key rather than a password.

Review 28：We thank for the kind attention of the hotel responsibles Mrs Stavrula and Mrs. Irini. Our room was just by the sea, The view and the sound of the waves was nice (but the sound may sometimes disturb you). There was not a parking problem for our car.

The hotel offers all the amenities you might need during your holidays and its location is perfect being just further away for busier Platanias but only a 15min drive from Chania town.

Review 32：The bathroom unnecessarily small, rather a micro-bathroom. The restaurant looks like a school cantine, cold and not welcoming, which is a pity because the rest of the buildings are of a better design. At the restaurant, the choice of meals could be a little better.

My daugther loved the pool and she is 2 and she can stand in the kids pool and her head was still above the water. They have a little kids area and my kids played a lot. Everything was super clean! Love the beach area! We are definitely planning to go back next year!

Platanias tourist area is located about 15 minutes walking or 5 minutes by bus. Review 60：We liked the fact that these apartments were located not at the main road but a bit further (600m), and close to the beach. Food was simple, fresh and delicious. Great customer service, the staff was more than friendly. Apartments were clean and comfortable. We highly recommend for those who really want to take some rest and have a relaxing time.

Review 62：The weather during our stay was not so good. So i would recommend a hotel to provide some activities for these days. Maybe to organize a volleyball or football games (because a hotel has its own sport place). In the evening it would be nice to have at least several times a week a Greek evening for guests with dancing and live music.

Review 63：Ideal room - very big, beautiful, relaxing colors, great views from balcony. All the furniture is new, well designed. We enjoyed staying in this room very much. The hotel is in a quiet place, there is no motorbike sound, like it is everywhere in Crete. Here guests can enjoy a wonderful sleep. The area is quiet, but there are shops and taverns nearby. The all inclusive catering and variety of food is fine, wine and beer is also fine. Bus stop is 10 minutes away. It is possible to see turtles on the beach. the hotel has its own beach, it is also quiet, and sandy.

Eleni and Giorgos worked behind the bar and were wonderful to talk to as well. The cleaning ladies were thorough and folded our clothes that weren't put away. The food was incredible too, some things were the same every day but every lunch and dinner they had 6 dishes that were different than the day before. Needless to say, we would go back in a heartbeat.

Review 99：Very kind staff, Irini even surprised us with a bottle of wine after finding out we got engaged.. Also made sure to provide us with breakfast before our departure even though we left before the official breakfast hours.. Excellent location to explore some of the best beaches of Crete, about 45 min from Falassarna, 1.5 hour to Balos and Elafonisi. Close to Platanias (5 min drive) which is always very lively and crowded for those who like to enjoy nightlife, but still very quit and a great place to rest. So close to the beach that you can hear the waves during the night.

Review 100：Located on a quiet beach- not crowded, very nice staff. All things needed at hand. Rooms well-kept and spacious. All inclusive option – was not that great as we ended up paying for a lot of things (drinks after 9 p.m.) and not all was included in the price. Located 20 min from the city centre, some cheap Taverns in the area and a shop. This is a very nice place for kids and couples, too.

First time I encouter such a charge - Breakfast buffet had a couple of not so freshly prepared offerings - No shutters in rooms windows, but only thick curtains that do not do proper job - A complementary bottle of water in the fridge wouldn't be a bad idea. Review 109：Hotel is great. Nice and quiet location. But if you like you can easilyreach nearest town in 10-15 minutes. Sea is very clean and good forsnorkeling.

A perfect location for families as they really cater for children. Couples and families alike will really enjoy a holiday here. Nice to be able to step out of your hotel and you are on the beach or just relax around the lovely pool.

Review 115：The price is on the high side, although we visited in August when prices are higher in general. The beach is not very comfortable with stones on the shore and the sea has a lot of waves usually. All inclusive ends quite early (9pm) so we could hardly use it during our stay, we switched to bed and breakfast later.
