Review 1：We stayed only 1 night, we do not have any complaint.
Review 2：Good location, near Plitvice lakes. The owner is very kind, she waited us with schnaps and cookies.
Review 3：A little difficult to find when we first arrived. If you get the bus you need to walk out of the village up the hill with the supermarket on your left and there is a sign on the road when you get there.
Review 4：The owners were very welcoming and hospitable. The house is in a beautiful location, is comfortable and has good self catering facilities. The owners were very kind and offered us lifts to the lakes and to the bus stop making it easy for us to get to where we wanted to be. Despite other people's comments we had no problem with communicating in English.
Review 5：Incredibly friendly host welcomed us with cookies, a bowl of fresh picked strawberries, and homemade schnapps. She also made the two of us four crapes (two diff types each) when we returned home the second night. Room was as described with comfy beds and everything you could want in the kitchen. View siting on porch of the house was lovely. House set back farther from the road than most other pensions so street noise was barely noticeable. Highly recommend!

Review 7：Very cheap. Had everything you need if just spending 1-2 nights here. Clean and tidy. Host Jelena, is lovely. Had welcoming drink and biscuits and sent us off with lovely pieces of home made cake.
Review 8：The only slight down side of the location is that it is very close to a very busy road with almost constant heavy train, but once we closed our windows it didn't bother us and we had no trouble sleeping.

Review 12：The house is situated on a slight incline next to a busy road as most of the accomodation in the area is, there is noticeable traffic noise and we did have a heart stopping moment when our 2 year chased a ball down the drive into the road,couldn't quite relax after that incident. Overall beautiful house run by perfect hosts in an excellent location for visiting the lakes
Review 13：We all felt very welcome (family of 5) and enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and well equipped for all our needs. the children loved playing outside with the resident dog Messi and wanted to take him home.

Review 38：Lovely clean studio apartment in a peaceful and beautiful location. Warm welcome from the owners who treat you like one of the family and great personal touches - the owner bought us homemade snacks on more than one occasion! A very warm and comfortable place to stay.
Review 39：We highly recommend this apartment. The owner is a very friendly host. In the details she tries to feel you at home. We got a drink and deliciouses small strawberries as welcome. When returning from hiking in the national park, she offered us pancakes. Jelena gave us an upgrade for free. What else do you want?

Review 42：The kitchen was very small and minimally equipped. The oven did not work and is very outdated. The bathroom shower and sink were on the smaller side as well. Only a small fridge is provided in the apartment, so do not bring in lots to be refridgerated.
Review 43：The 2-bedroom apartment was a good value and a short distance from Plitvice National Park. Yelena was a most gracious host, spoiling our kids with cookies and candy, and very easy to work with as far as checking in and out. It's easy to find off the main road in Rakovia and is close to a grocery store in town.

Review 45：Helena and her family are very welcoming and see to every need. The beds are comfortable and the heating and wifi are also great. It was only a short drive to the incredible lakes so excellent location. If I'm back in the area I would book House Petra again.

Review 47：Comfortable apartment in a convenient and easy to find location in a village on the road to the Plitvice Lakes National Park. What really makes this place special is the friendly a d warn owner, Jelena, who welcomed me with a glass of šlivovice and some delicious homemade apple pie, which made me feel right at home, as did the enthusiastic welcome by the family dog.
Review 48：Jelena (the owner) is a wonderful host and extremely warm. My wife and i were on our honeymoon and when we arrived, Jelena prepared an assortment of homemade sherry wines for us to try, to celebrate our marriage. The accommodations were extremely clean and well kept. the accommodations are not fancy by any means, but they are quite lovely and very comfortable after a full day of hiking.

Our hosts Jelena and Petra are very friendly and kind providing with us a welcoming drink, pancakes on our first night and fruit for the journey. Our stay provided us with an excellent insight into family life in rural Croatia. It is well located - short 10 minute drive to the Plitvice Lakes, Rastoke and close to restaurants and a supermarket. Excellent value!
Review 50：Satellite tv is available but channel selection is disappointing. However, this was not a big concern as we were out exploring most of the time.
Review 51：Our host Jelena welcomed us with a hospitality drink and was really helpful in giving us info on the Plitvice Lakes. Petra house is easy to find from the main road and a good base located a few kilometers to the park entrance (by car). We rented the studio red appartment which has a fully equipped kitchette. This is a good value for your money should you decide to spend one or two nights. Parking is free and breakfast could be available at extra cost.

The location was very good, Jelena (the host) is a wonderfull nice and helpfull person that will surely go the extra mile to give you that little extra information to make your stay pleasant! The place is a big plus!

In the kitchen was fully equiped (including coffee, tea, sugar etc). The owner (a lady) served us with pancakes (very good). We visited the Plitvice Lakes and we had a great time! It'a good location!
Review 59：The hosts Jelena and Petar were the most friendly and welcoming people we have encountered on our travels. Their home and surrounding yard is green and lush and a haven for children. There are toys, games and outdoor chalkboard for children to play with whilst the grown ups lounge outdoors and take in the fresh air and tranquility.

Review 61：We had the red room, spacious, clean and nicely decorated with much attention to detail. The kitchenette is well stocked and the bathroom modern. Petra and Ylenna and their family are welcoming hosts. It is a short 12 km drive to Plitvice Lakes. I highly recommend House Petra.
Review 62：Our host! Within 5 minutes he was serving us Croatian liquor. Within 20 minutes he was teaching Sophie traditional Croatian dancing. Within 30 minutes I was running around the garden with the dog. I don't remember much after that.
