Review 4:Very friendly and helpful staff. Good Kitchen facilities, clean, and good location.

Review 5:we had our laundry done for 5 euro, but it was still dirty after the (very short) washing. dont do your laundry there or insist you do it on a different (longer) washing programme; you can hear all noise from neighbouring rooms

Review 6:good for a hostel; good location; friendly staff; big living room and kitchen; clean rooms; bathroom could be cleaner; basic breakfast included in price

Review 7:I stayed three nights at the Sleepy Camel as I wanted to be in the area for a friends 60th Birthday party celebrations. The Sleepy Camel provided me with clean, comfortable affordable accommodation and Chris went out of his way to make sure I had a good stay which I really appreciated. They also provided me with airport transfers at a reasonable cost. I would definitely recommend The Sleepy Camel to other people who are looking for accommodation in the area as it provides everything you need and more for a good price.

Review 8:We found the owner and family extremely friendly and very helpful. The place was huge with great kitchen (free tea and coffee) and sitting room and lovely garden. Very flexible with breakfast times. Upper floor rooms had lovely views of the beach. Rooms were simple, clean and warm with towels provided. Great base to start the ring of Kerry.

Review 11:The staff were lovely, and the facilities were in great condition. Fully stocked kitchen with oven, fridges etc. seperate dining room, conservatory, lounge room, outdoor seating and garden out the back. Had a twin room, window looked over the rossbeigh beach and bathrooms were just across the hall.

Review 12:I enjoyed my stay here as the hostel was really convenient for my stay, value for money was excellent, great location for what I needed. Highly recommend to anybody for a cheap weekend breakaway. Friendly staff and facilities for money were really good.

Review 13:very smelly room with 3 old beds and nothing else shared bathroom staff We travelled all over Ireland and can confirm that you can stay in a luxurious 4* B&B in more touristy destinations for a lower price (There is much better and cheaper accommodation also in Glenbeigh)

Review 14:Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Excellent facilities. Beautiful location. Very comfortable. Great value for money. Felt like it was a home away from home. Loved it and will be back again!

Review 15:The location of the hostel is great! Glenbeigh is a nice village with good shop, ATM, kebab/burger fast food so you have pretty much everything you need. There is really well equipped kicthen in the hostel so you can save some money by cooking for you also!

Review 40:Friendly staff, relaxed.

Review 41:The comfy lounge chairs

Review 42:The bathroom could have been cleaner - toiled wasnt flushed when I came, there was a towel but I didnt know whether it was for me or not.

Review 43:I got upgraded on my room - had a room just for myself. Friendly and helpful owners, good kitchen, continental breakfast included, close to the bus stop and in walking distance from the Rosbeigh Beach - the reason I came.

Review 44:The owners were both extremely nice and helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Exactly the kind of hospitality you would want. As we had a private room we felt like we were staying in a guest house rather than a hostel, but with the added benefit of self service kitchen with a genourous breakfast provided

Review 45:The beds werent the best ive slept on and it was kinda noisy but it was a bank holiday weekend....maybe if we had a few more drinks we would have slept thru it!

Review 47:Not applicable.

Review 48:Have stayed at the Sleepy Camel for the past 4 years approx. for Puck Fair. Staff are always very friendly. Place is lovely & relaxed atmosphere.

Review 49:for the price, 30e pp, I would want an ensuite bathroom. a serve-yourself breakfast is acceptable.

Review 50:the manager was very personable. the setting was nice.

Review 51:Very clean place with lovely staff and great location on Ring of Kerry. Cosy sitting room with lots of books, internet access, conservatory, access to patio and back garden. We were about 40 mins late with booking out on the day of departure and there was no problem with that at all. We got a baby cot free of charge for the duration of stay. We left some of our belongings in the hostel and the lovely lady in reception posted it back to our home address on the following day. Truly recommended place to stay.

Review 52:Made feel so welcome, very relaxed and easy going atmosphere. Facilities were really goood and very accessible. Having a libirary in the sitting room a with good range of novels is an excellent idea

Review 53:Nothing about the place. Only a recommendation for people without a car: The bus stops next to the hostel but there are only 2 or 3 buses a day and that makes the scheduling of trip difficult.

Review 54:This place is perfect for backpackers as well for families with light budget. The kitchen and lounge are well equipped. There is a big garden with BBQ. Very near to the beach and steeffin walk. At the beginning of the ring if Kerry road. We had a double bed em suite room but actually even the dormitory are really fine and there are plenty of shared bathrooms and toilets.

Review 55:We really enjoyed our stay at the Sleepy Camel! We stayed there for a couple of days at the begin of our travel and during our trip we spontaniously decided to come back for another 3 days. The owners are very nice and helpful people and the rooms are clean and comfortable. They have a big community room with free Wi-Fi and lots of books which is nice as well. Highly recommended- we will stay there agian for sure!

Review 56:Duvet on the bed was a bit warm for the time of year.

Review 57:Very friendly host. Excellent kitchen. Secure place to keep our bikes. Really good hostel.

Review 58:Fantastic location friendly Staff. Really clean and good value for money
