Review 1：They have horses but you can't ride them in the winter, although you can find another stable in the town for that.

Review 2：Excellent location and decor, lovely place to stay. The ranch is on a hill almost too beautiful to be true

Review 3：No microwave. Show head water pressure was way too low. Unstable WiFi. Although we only had a few minutes with the staff, she offered quite a few tips on local restaurants.

Review 4：We like the all wood structure and the wood-burning fireplace. The "close encounter" with the horses was quite a pleasant experience.

Review 5：Following some extensive travel through Croatia and staying in some small city apartments, our family of four was really looking forward to this accomodation. The pictures on line showed a wood cabin with big open spaces and rooms with lots of windows and views. When we arrived the owner informed us that the cabins were in fact three apartments, one on top that spanned the entire floor space and then two smaller apartments half the size below. We were given the smaller of the two options. When I enquired if upstairs was available I was told it was booked for one night by a couple. I questioned why we weren't given the larger apartment given there were four of us, we were staying for two nights and paying more. The owner informed me that we would be too noisey. So the spacious apartment upstairs remained empty until midnight when a couple checked in and stomped around until 2am. Our entire family was awake in the middle of the night unable to sleep. Finally our new neighbours went to bed, but then their alarm went off at 5am and they left the cabin for good. I was saddled that we were put into dark cramped quarters and kept awake all night. Surely we should have been given priority as a party of four, staying for two nights and paying a premium rate. Also, the wifi never worked, you can't drink the tap water, yet none is provided on arrival, despite the distance from town.

Review 6：the accomodation is located within a beautiful natural setting. It sits adjacent to a horse riding ranch. The owner of the ranch, Andre is lovely and very generous with his time and animals.

Review 7：Couldn't connect to the wifi. And we had the apartment downstairs and could hear everything from the people above us(every step they made) so not as quiet as expected

Review 10：Great size room, quiet, clean, wish we stopped there for a couple of days. A little further from the main road than I anticipated, but in a great location that was very quiet. The owner was very accommodating and helpful to the fact that we were arriving very late, much later than the limit to the checkin time. They spoke perfect English.

Review 11：10-15min drive to plitvice. During our stay theres no wifi and phone service at all. Its not a big problem if you dont need internet during your vacation.

Review 32：Very clean, nice strong and hot shower. The scenery is wonderful - with green mountains surrounding us, and nice colourful flowers are planted in the front garden. The fireplace and living room area is very nice and cozy. The sitting area on the porch is very relaxing with small flower pots along the sides. Horse riding in the woods was wonderful!

Review 33：The "ranch" was not as nice as I was expecting it, it is just a tiny Horse Center, not specifically interesting. The place is quite noisy, and our chalet was right in front. If possible ask for the second chalet further away from the horses. There also was a cat, which always wanted to get in, which was not really safe for our small children.

Review 42：We stayed 2 nights in the comfort studio - it was huge! Lots of space, spotlessly clean! Highly recommended. Not a problem for me but one to bear in mind if you're not a fan of animals! The ranch has a couple of very friendly cats and dogs that like to sit on your doorstep. I loved it though!

Review 44：We stayed here for 3 nights of our honeymoon and it was beautiful, tranquil and cosy with a lovely wood-burning stove and lots of comfy seating to relax on and comfortable bed. Very clean and tastefully decorated and the view was gorgeous. Blanka was very welcoming and left us a complimentary bottle of wine as a honeymoon gift which was very thoughtful.

Review 45：No freezer at all, no drinking water from faucet, cat tries to get in all the time, dogs right outside (if you don't like dogs), no shade from glass windows on entrance door, no English language TV, no , no reception, no microwave and payment only in cash (not as advertised). Owner does not live on premises, so prior planning needs to be done to meet up with owner.)not necessarily a problem, but once we gave a time, we felt pressured to get there on time)

Review 48：Excellent environment, a farm house surrounded by green nature. Good facilities. Easy access to the national park with the transfer provided by the owner. We really enjoyed a lot the 24km green walk there. The horse-riding course was a great experience as well.

Review 94：Beautiful cabin in the country, very close to waterfall park. Lots of hiking and caves to explore in the area. The horseback riding was a lot of fun and everyone was very nice and helpful. Easy drive from Zadar on highways with one toll (less than 5 euros). Wood burning stove in the cabin was very nice to have. Very much enjoyed the bright spaces, big bath tub...we did not want to leave! Grocery stores and restaurant close by.

Review 95：Nothing really. I have read on other reviews that it can be quite noisy when the cabins are all occupied and can see how this could be the case, but during our stay we were the only guests so had no problems

Review 96：Everything! The friendly welcome, the lovely scenery and the presence of the owner's very friendly dog as our companion for the duration of the stay. The free use of bikes was also a real plus. We had a wonderful cycle around the local area and would definitely recommend this. There are some easy routes and hard routes depending on your preference. We were given a really useful map which had all the information we needed. The proximity to the plitvice waterfalls was also really convenient- it was perhaps a 15 minute drive down the main road.

Review 99：Its a fantastic place to enjoy the nature about 10-15min drive to the Plitvice lakes. Bianka is a very warm and friendly host who has been very helpfull and supportive. I strongly recoment this place for people who like to experience the Plitvice extrodinady nature.

Review 100：We stayed in the downstairs studio, and when guests were up in the loft apartment it was a bit disturbing with foot steps and other noises, as the ceiling/floor between the two is not sound insulated. But this was the only 'negative' point.

The horse riding on site is great - I went on atwo hour ride - the horses are well kept and well schooled and theguides are very competent and great fun.

Review 107：Ranch Jelovac is a beautiful alpine retreat. It is light, spacious and comfortable. As we drove the distance from the National Park was not an issue and instead gave us the isolation we craved. As we were in the upstairs apartment we were not troubled by noise from other guests. Although the tap water wasn't drinkable we had bottled water provided.

Review 121：People mentioned that it's hard to find, but once you realize it's the first left turn after the Rakovice sign - when you are coming from the direction of Plitvice, (travelling east) it's actually very easy.

Review 122：An amazing, comfortable apartment. A cozy fire to ward of the chill was waiting for us when we arrived. Riding lessons for the children, by an experienced, friendly instructor. Great location for visiting both Plitvice and the caves; even the rain didn't bother us. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

Review 123：The wooden floor is creaking - in night it is pretty annoying. Also, wewere on the first floor, so we could also hear our neigbours from above.

Review 124：It is a rural, totally wooden house, with 4 beds, a kitchen and even afireplace. The surroundings are very pastoral and quiet, there are woodsand fields just behind the door. It is not far from the np Plitvice.
