Review 1：Dog loose in garden. Dog poo on beach! 3 miles to shops - quite a walk without a car or bicycle!

Review 10：The wifi wasn't consistent, but for our stay it wasn't something that would keep us from coming back. Although the location is beautiful, you will need a car. We rented one so it wasn't an issue for us.

Review 11：The property's beach location is second to none. Our 2nd floor room had a stunning beach view. The beach is quite peaceful with very few people.

Review 12：Very dirty beach! Budget one-bedroom apartment is placed in the basement, with very small window on the top of the bedroom and has no balcony- just a patio shared with other three rooms. It's absolutely not worth of this money in comparison with other hotels on Crete.

Review 15：Nice calm beach even in the middle of summer, very very clean and spacious rooms. The nearest taverns are in the walking distance (+-20min).

Review 16：We chose the place also because it should have Internet access. But we could hardly use it if at all. The owner put the blame on the provider!! Our room was not ready when we came and had to wait about 40 minutes for it. The beach is sandy and just out the door. But it's quite rocky when you step into the water. There is a safe box in the room. We ask for a key for it and discovered at the final bill that we have to pay 3 euro for it.

Review 18：The owners made a mistake with our booking and blamed us for it. We had to pay extra for a room we never asked for and the owner came to get us in the middle if our dinner to ask us for more money after we had already discussed it with the receptionist, it was a horrible experience and ruined the rest of our night. Also, no hot water, no internet and they charge extra for airconditionning.

Review 22：I had to paid 10 Euros extra don't know why, Internet was really slow, and the owner would not provide the a/c and tv control by default, you need to request for them, I think that's pretty bad. the first nigth was terrily hot at 1am i wanted to start the a/c but i figured out that i didn't have the control .. let's put it that way, it was not an enjoyable nigth.

Review 31：A modern well run hotel with great facilities. The beach across the road is sandy and although the extra charges indicated in reception area said sun beds were €4 there was no charge during our stay. Aircon was extra. Thoroughly recommend Gramvousa Bay Hotel.

Review 32：Beach has a rough sand and the sea is very deep in just a few meters. So it wasn't ideal place for little children. Were not given remote controls for air conditioner. TV didn't work. Dogs barking were sometimes too much. Hardly could see the garden from our budget one bedroom apartment. Couldn't expect it will be in basement with small windows in the bedroom. Don't remember it in description on the website. Now I understand why it's called budget apartment. Also there is no terrace. There are tables and chairs outside on the tiled driveway next to 3 others budget apartments.

Review 61：The accommodation was excellent. The hotel had a lovely garden and was located at the beach. It was a 5 minute drive from the city Kissamos. The owners were very friendly and kind, as well as the others working there. Our room was clean and comfortable. As parents of a toddler and an infant, it was very useful that the wifi reached to the beach, so we could enjoy the sea during nap time using a baby intercom app on our cell phone. We had a wonderful vacation, with a lot of credits to this hotel! We could recommend this place to parents of young children and to people who appreciate the sea at their doorstep and the city nearby.

Review 63：Remote location, approx 3kms from Kissamos and the nearest supermarket so be sure to hire a car if staying at Gramvousse Bay. Hard to find owners when help was required ( like a ghost hotel when we arrived in April ) Booked a bike, but the bikes available to us were not fit to be ridden any great distance and had to be returned by 3pm ! Poor shower, sometimes no warm water.

Review 65：I spent my holidays in Greece from 12 years and that is the first time when I write some negative. The owners are small swindlers and will upset your holiday. Cats in the kitchen!!! (don't eat there) Bicycles are not free - 7 euro/day. Aircondition 3.50 euro/day. I have photos on the reception with this prices

Review 71：Nice hotel 5 minutes drive from Kissamos. Good to relax and as a base for your trips to Balos (we recommend taking boat from Kissamos) to Falasarna (don't trust your android gps or you'll go through the mountains' dirt road :) )

Review 72：The mattresses were a little uncomfortable and to get there you need to rent a car. But it is totally worth it to because having a car is the best way to see Crete, but don't trust Google Maps to much, sometimes it will give you directions through very bad roads!!

Review 73：The beach is just 10 meters away from the rooms and it is beautiful and there are not that many people (usally just the guests at the hotel which weren't more than 30 and some locals). The owners are great and even when we arrived around 11PM they prepared some great greek food with fresh fish for our dinner. The location is great is you are looking to relax and lay in a beautiful beach, it is half an hour away for chania and not far for falassarna and elafonisi, although the beach in front of the hotel is nicer than falassarna (in my opinion).

Review 74：When we made the reservation, it was clear that we could pay with credit card and in the moment we wanted to pay the lady said that it was not possible and that the misunderstanding was a "booking problem" I think it is their problem and in that moment also ours because we didn't have cash. Kissamos is not a very nice town, it is very small and with few places to have dinner...

Review 76：Great location, especially close to some of the best beaches in Greeceif not Europe. Checkout Elafonissi and Falasarna beaches. Toula and Theowho run the hotel are vey hospitable. You are made to feel like part ofthe family.

Review 77：This hotel is situated in the most idyllic location I have ever seen. From my balcony I drank in the magnificent views of the mountain meeting the sea. I loved the clear waters and soft sand. I would highly recommend this to my friends back in Australia. Outstanding accommodation!
