Family-run Hotel Elena Beach is located right on the sandy beach of Mavros Molos. It offers rooms with private balconies and features a Cretan restaurant and a beach bar and tavern. Sun beds and sun umbrellas are available on the beach.

Review 1：breakfast was average

Review 2：good car parking, friendly receptionist, good size room (we had a suite with living room and kitchenette) and decent shower - sea views are brilliant, direct access to private beach, easy drive up to Balos lagoon.

Review 3：The beds are very comfortable - nicely renovated rooms and facilities. Direct link to the beach via terrace and garden. The staff and team is very kind and helpfull! Would always check-in again !

Review 4：No mattress or pillow protectors but both looked clean. Rooms were well decorated, but overall the outside of the hotel in places looked very old. Not a great deal of choice for buffet breakfast if you like hot food or cereals.

Review 5：Location for us was a perfect base for going to visit Balos & Elafonisi Beach. Sunbeds & beach just outside was great. Room was clean & bed was made & towels changed every day. Nice complimentary shower gels & shampoo.

Review 8：The location was ideal for families as it had direct connection to the calm beach of kissamos. In general it was a small hotel which though included everything apart from pool. Also Kissamos is in a nice spot for visiting the three famous beaches of Elafonissi, Falassarna and Balos.

Review 10：Breakfast very poor in quality, slamming doors is a permanent issue, reception people are inadequate with no experience in order to support any information to their customers. A more professional approach is recommended for providing info regarding close facilities in the area, also the knowledge of how to use card payment in their hotel.

Review 16：Without exception, every member of staff we encountered, ranging from the owners through to cleaners and catering staff were extremely helpful, friendly and courteous. We were particularly impressed by being approached by the manager on the evening of the first of our 11 night stay who had independently noticed that our neighbouring room was occupied by a family with young children and insisted on transferring us to a quieter room - a genuinely thoughtful and much appreciated gesture. The excellent 'home cooking' of the set three course evening meal for the exceptionally good price of just nine Euros, efficiently served by lively, chatty Irini were further bonuses. We shall unhesitatingly return to this beautifully located, well managed beachside hotel!

Review 19：Very nice people, always willing to help and be at your disposal every time. We enjoyed their food; the vegetables from their BIO garden. Irene deserve a price for her kindness and friendly attitude, as one time she brought dinner in the room because I was not feeling so good. Location: 20 min to Falasarna, 1 hour and a half to Balos, because there is a bumpy road 7 km along the cost line, and 2 km walking to the lagoon. There is a possibility to use the bus but there are timetable limitation.We rent a car to make the full off the Chania region and even though expensive, it was worth it.

Review 20：Perfect location, it could be interesting to stay here the entire trip as it was the center of our cities we have visited. From here it is short distance to go to Elafonisi, Falassarna, the port to visit Gramvousa and Ballos, to see the Olive Oil tour in Terra Creta and to go to Chania town. Breakfast was good, but the best option was to have the dinner at the Hotel.

Review 21：It was a good location to get to Balos Bay and Elafonisa Beach. It was a family run place and fairly large rooms. A mix of modern shower and classic settings in the room. The bed was really hard and it was not to my preference. We spent more time outside than staying in the hotel so it does not bother us. Otherwise, clean room and would recommend for the convenience to travel around the West side of Crete. It was located at the end of the Kissamos Beach, not a great site at the time of visit as you can see the road works going on the roads towards Kaliviani.

Review 23：Lovely family / staff. Allowed us to check in early. Clean, spacious room, had a lovely sea view as requested. Good bathroom. Website and info details had stated kettle in room but none, when asked sorted within minutes. Only there 2 days but changed bath towels.

Review 25：What we liked was - the beach is theirs, as is the beach bar and the sun lounger s. The hotel overlooks the bay and has it's own breakwater so the sea is calm. The hotel has an air of space as do the rooms, breakfast is excellent as is dinner and lunch in the beach bar. This is a delightful family run hotel, I hope you enjoy it too!

Review 27：The Elena Beach Hotel is a spacious, nice and clean place. Nice toilet and a very good shower. The staff is helpful, with good hints on where to eat around in local places. The back of the Hotel is 10 meters from the Beach. We enjoyed a lot our staying there. Kissamos is a very pleasant town. Much less crowded than Chania.

Review 28：Wanted to get off the beaten path and came across this listing in Kissamo. It ended up being the favorite place we stayed in Crete! A family run outfit, the staff is warm and welcoming and the hotel is conveniently located near Balos Beach and Chania. Such a great find!

Review 44：The hotel has a perfect location on the sea and close to the best cretan beaches (Falassarna, Balos). The rooms have been recently renewed: spaceful and confortable (our had a breathtaking seaview)The cuisine is delicious (most of the vegetables are producted by them selves), cooked in a very traditional and genuine way, in our opinion better than the "tabernas" around the hotel, but what really makes the difference is the kindness and the customer care that all the staff (the owners Nondas and Elena; the waitresses Irene, Joanna and the others) reserved to us making our holiday like being in family. Review 45：Quite noisy due to slammig doors. From my room on the ground floor, i could hear clicking dishwear sound from breakfast area.

Review 47：Although there were some IT-problems in the beginning with our reservation, Ms Elena and her son-in-law made our holiday very nice. The whole family is very helpful, friendly and attentive, which contributes to the pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed our good breakfast and lunch. The hotel is situated at the best beachfront location in Kissamos. We definitately recommand rooms with sea view. We enjoyed every single day of our 11 days stay.
