Review 1：Food prices are on the high side and I'd like to see more vegetarian options on the menu.

Review 2：Staff are excellent, food is excellent, location is excellent (for me), rooms are very comfortable and well finished. Enjoyed my stay and in fact extended it from 2 night to 4 nights without fuss.

Review 5：Was disappointed when we got back to the room and found out that room service stopped at 10pm, would have thought it might have been later than that. At times there was also a smell of stale smoke, I have a feeling this may have been coming through the aircon. The smell wasn't constant, we could smell it at times late on in the evening and then again in the morning. Reported it to reception in the morning and they couldn't have been more apologetic but I got the feeling it didn't come as too much of a shock, so perhaps something that's been reported before. This all being said I've still given it a good rating as overall it's a really nice hotel.

Review 6：The rooms are large and comfortable and well decorated, the bathrooms are large and the shower is great. The staff were all very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful, even knocked us together a wee sandwich after the kitchen had closed.

Review 7：No fridge in room. Nothing outside the hotel apart from offices and buildings. No entertainment it was New Year's Eve.

Review 13：I loved how friendly the staff were especially on Christmas morning for having to work on Christmas morning they were so cheerful hardly in the lobby and 3 people had already said merry Christmas. The room was beautiful and the food was absolutely amazing.

Review 14：Desk faced away from TV so you couldn't watch TV and use a computer at the desk. The food in the restaurant was nice but over priced. Location is a tad remote and there are no decent restaurants within a couple of miles or more. Breakfast was massively overpriced.

Review 15：The receptionist who greeted me on arrival was warm, friendly and extremely helpful. Generally all staff in hotel and restaurant were friendly and helpful. Rooms were very comfortable. Shower was great and bathroom was spacious. Plenty of shower gel and shampoo provided unlike some hotels where you get a bottle barely big enough to clean a full grown adult. Wi-Fi connection was good enough to run sky go on a tablet. There was a wired Ethernet connection in the room.

Review 16：The hotel was very noisy on the 5th floor, we only had one towel for the shower. Also we asked for 2 drinks at the bar a processco and chambord, and processco and peach snapps and were told you's were not prepared to make them, I was then persistent and you's then served them to us. I was told it was table service in the bar but yet I had to walk over twice for drinks. It was a special evening as it was a supprise night away for my partner therefore I shouldn't be debating at a table over 2 drinks. Was pretty embarrassing.

The room (complete with music from Lost In Translation) as you enter immediately relaxes you and is high spec and very clean The monk fish curry at the restraunt is incredible

Review 52：This hotel isn't for anyone it's for rich business people or celebrities. I came here for a special occasion and felt I was looked at differently because I'm young and didn't look the snobby type. I arrived about 4:30pm which was 90 minutes later than scheduled but my room was still being cleaned when I got booked in. The room was very small and standard and the beds were uncomfortable. The room service was very pricey and only suited those well off. The first dinner time for me was 21:45. I had a horrible experience here and wouldn't come back. Not worth the discounted £79 I got it for.

Review 57：while I don't mind paying between £5 & £8 for a drink, the size of the very small cocktails are not remotely worth the money. Also noticed from both my first and second trip, that if your sitting in the bar for a duration of more than one hour, you'll soon notice the music repeat itself over and over. BIG let down and probably more annoying to the staff who have to endure it for a full working shift. This really needs sorting out, and I'm afraid to say puts me off going for a third visit! The location is also poor unless your not planning going anywhere and if your looking for a room with a view this is not for you. Also feel the whole bar area is missing a ceiling, while its tastefully decorated, looking up gives you the feel that your on a building site with exposed air on ducts and cable trays in full view. Poor design on that note!

Review 58：This was our 2nd stay here, the hotel and staff are great. The food is to die for (compliments to the chef) and the room was immaculately presented. Can get the same service and quality for less if you shop around. But still worth a visit.

Review 59：Usually go for standard room but went for executive this time. We had to ask for the robes, and they were extremely creesed when they arrived. Only plastic tumblers in the room and apparently company policy now? The mirror was visibly dusty. Chap at reception did not appear interested when I fed back that I did not think it was worth the extra money...not sure why he asked how our stay had been?

Review 73：We were treated like royalty! The hotel is beautifully decorated and furnished and maintained to an excellent standard. We arrived late to a complimentary platter of fruit which had been left in our room. New were made so welcome I am just longing for the next opportunity to return.

Review 99：Cool, relaxed atmosphere. Fantastic steak and selection of wines. Very friendly staff who are always happy to help. Second time staying, will definitely be back!

Review 100：Watch when booking a table, if they have a function they try to steer you to a time saying it's very busy, we had the option of 6:15 or 8:45, we chose the earlier option and many tables were empty the whole time - not so busy then.

Review 101：Room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Dog bed was provided with feeding dish, dog loved the bed couldn't get her off it. Food was excellent although a bit pricy.

Review 102：Everywhere was in the dark with low lighting. I suppose to create an ambience which did not work for me. No food allergy information on display on menus or in restaurant in contravention of EU directive December 2014. Raised as business colleague has an allergy stressed this to waitress and chef ignored it. Not the fault of waitress and when identified management were very good. Breakfast order taken and then poached eggs delivered cold, toast had to be asked for and appeared to cause problem for waitress who tutted. Management again rescued this.

Review 103：The location was handy for the business trip as only 5 minutes from where I wanted to be. Handy for M8 and noise from Motorway could not be heard. The reception staff and management were very very helpful. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and clean delivering all that was required. The hotel is very impressive on approach and appeared to have ample car parking.

Review 104：Our room was freezing and very dark, so much so that I couldn't read the air con thermostat. We had to have it activated remotely by the Manager....After eventually finding the tea/coffee, it had to be placed on the floor as the flex would not reach from the table. A plug socket beside the bed for phone charging would be beneficial.

Review 119：My GPS could not get me to your location. It took me an hour to find the place. Also - my friends GPS could not get them there either. They could only get there thru an extensive phone conversation with one of your staff at the front desk. She practically had to talk them in. The storage shelves had very poor lighting - and I don't see all that well in the dark anymore. Also - the trash container in the bathroom area - the one with the footpedal - is very impractical. When you try to depress the pedal with your foot - the whole container is so light that it starts to move with it. Seems like a design that didn't quite work right.

Review 120：Nice room - a little small - but comfortable for a single traveler. I'd not recommend it for two people. I like the "chic" designs in the lobby and in the bar/restaurant area - and my friends were also impressed.

We were asked to secure £50 on our card at check in which would cover any spends, not sure why this was necessary when we explained we had cash, but this was still needed. The temperature in the rooms was difficult to get a happy medium with and was generally cold. I think it might be to do with the brick wall.

Review 132：When we arrived room was not ready and we were reallocated. However we did get locked out of this room because booking out system locked down too early. The time taken to receive drinks was shocking and drinks ordered were not always what was ordered.
