Reviews for Sleep in Heaven
Review 1:Our room (Venus) was located next to the reception and common room which was open and playing music until 2am. If we were staying for longer we would definitely have asked to move as not being able to sleep until 2am is not the best ! If you can ask for a quiet room I'd recommend
Review 2:The hostel is really nice, and easily accessible to the city centre.
Review 3:If you sleep in the 6-bed-room, be prepared for a bunk bed with three beds on top of each other... so basically you get to know the sleeping rhythm of two other people if you're into that ;-)
Review 4:Nice place to meet other young people, clean, comfortable, cool hang-out area, good atmosphere
Review 5:Great location, friendly staff and simple but comfortable dorm rooms - most of all, excellent value for money in an expensive city. Would definitely go back if I visit Copenhagen again.
Review 6:Everything was great. Stuff was very helpful. We liked the neighbourhood and it was even not so far away from the city center (walking distance). Plus ladies toilet at the first floor is like a little room :)
Review 7:There should be more shelves for leaving stuff at each bed of the dorms. There shld be a common area w some places to hang wet stuff in the second building.
Review 8:very nice!
Review 9:The hostel is very fashion and comfort place to stay. Has big well-designed shared zone to communicate with other travelers) And you can meet a lot of incredible people there) Must be perfect place in summer time) I want to come back there!
Review 10:There is a bar close to the reception and it could get a bit crowded and noisy but the rooms (we stayed in a private room for 2 people) are well isolated so you can sleep without problems.
Review 11:This hostel has a cozy atmosphere and it is a good place to meet other young travelers. You can leave your suitcases after you check out if you need to. You can have breakfast there if you wish and even rent bikes. Bathrooms are very clean and modern. The location is OK, it is 5-10 minutes walk from Forum station which takes you in 5min to the city center. Good value for money.
Review 12:N/A
Review 13:Hostel located in a nice part of Copenhagen. I loved the way they designed the common area. Staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was great in this hostel. Enough showers/toilets.
Review 14:There is no kitchen. Bedrooms are in the basement floor. They remove the ceilings and put 3rd floor beds in the rooms. If you got the top bed, you would have some trouble to get there. Cozy living room is always busy and at the nights it got much more crowded.
Review 15:Kind staff and cozy living room. A card key to secure my baggage.
Review 16:The staff don't care about nothing you need. The room have a old painting and a lack of ventilation. The beds should have fall protections, they are to high.
Review 17:Good Breakfast, cheaper than in the city.
Review 18:The snoring of my roommate.
Review 19:The place is quite cozy and the staff is very very nice. I always feel welcomed in this hostel and I will always stay here when I come in Copenhagen.
Review 20:There is a kitchen, but you can't use it.
Review 21:There is a big shared room where you can play, chat or just chill out, really welcoming. The staff is helpfull and friendly.
Review 22:its about 15-20 min walk from metro if you have heavy luggage.no facilities to cook food
Review 23:Relaxing atmosphere. Clean rooms and building, especially showers and toilet areas. Good communal areas to eat, read, charge phones, use your laptops etc. No problems with WiFi connection which is free. Also they have a cafe, happy hour and offer continental buffet breakfast for a small price. Supermarkets and eating places 5 min walk.
Review 24:Tiny room and less space. No towels is what I really hated. I carried my own towel, but then it goes wet in my backpack and stinks. Many hotels at the same price provide towels.
Review 25:LOVE the lockers and the place was beautiful.
Review 26:Room was in different building than hostel reception with bar and common room.
Review 27:Good price and location, helpfull personal. Collective bathroom and toilets were really clean. I appreciate bike rental in hostel and of course happy hours on bar ;)
Review 28:Nice location, personnel and atmosphere. Just to bad they didn't have a kitchen where u could cook some meals. However a good stay for a shorter period of time.
Review 29:I stayed one small room in six bed it's too congested & sweating smell. And ventilation problem. If it is four bed that will be perfect.
Review 30:They are friendly and helpful.
Review 31:No stove, oven, microwave, certainly you cannot heat up your food here. Also there's also no free regular bed sheet change because I was staying here like 11 days.
Review 32:Super fast WiFi
Review 33:Sleep in Heaven turned into Sleep in hell when staff has no policy whatguests can do at 2 or 3 am in the morning. We had a bunch of younghooligans staying at guests and terrorizing everybody being drunk, shouting and running around in underwear in the corridors.
Review 34:Gute Atmophaere. Good atmosphaere. Good location.
Review 35:The hostel was very nicely decorated and set up, the staff all spoke english and were very friendly, and of course happy hour was very fun and easy to meet other travellers!
Review 36:internet in the room was unstable. i stay in the S room. always need to go to common room which is quite far from my room because my room is located in different building.
Review 37:good location, friendly staffs and clean
Review 38:Perfect for cheap, easy travelling. Such a fantastic location that made it very easy to walk/bike straight into the heart of Copenhagen. For an inexpensive hostel, the service and facilities were excellent. Obviously we did not expect too much from it, but were pleasantly surprised. Very much geared towards young travellers.
Review 39:Nørrebro neighborhood is good. However it's known sometimes its better to stay in downtown area. Besides this, everything is wonderful. Casper is a genuine guy.
Review 40:The common spaces, the free wi-fi, the iMacs available to everyone who needs, the bar with many options - the items have cheap prices compared to the average of cost of things in Copenhagen.
Review 41:Great leisure space with a pool table, comfy couches and a bar (which was cheaper than everywhere else around!). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean and nice.
Review 42:Wi-fi doesn't work and the hostel personal really don't care about us. If we require a touristic information about Copenhagen, the personal answer smileing that they don't know. The reallity is that they don't care.
Review 43:Photo numbers are untrue. The three of us lived in a room of 6 square meters with a THREE-TIERED bed!!!! Фото номеров не соответствуют действительности. Мы втроем жили в номере площадью 6 квадратных метров с ТРЕХЯРУСНОЙ кроватью!!!!
Review 44:- some beds very far from power outlets - showers warm but not hot at times - showers often flooded
Review 45:- incredibly comfortable beds - strong wifi - young, friendly, very helpful staff - cheap daily bike rentals - free walking tours - reasonable bar/cafe prices - free computers for guests with cheap printing - pretty clean - fun atmosphere
Review 46:Clean and friendly. I felt safe and comfortable staying here. Would recommend to anyone. Very chilled atmosphere, not exactly a party hostel but I had a very good time!
Review 47:The washing rooms use air dryers. these tend to wake everybody up in the middle of the night, way too loud!
Review 48:Just refurbished interior. Really very nice living area with bar and large lounge.
Review 49:Wifi didn't work on my last day, and the last night was tiring - all the other guests arrived at 2 am, and were very noisy... No kitchen.
Review 50:Good location and wifi working well but not always. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room and bathroom was clean. Working lockers. I'd recommend this place, one of the best hostel I've stayed in.
Review 51:The beds - worst bed I have EVER slept on! And the noise was horrible, the guests staying up and partying until 3 or 4 am and the staff never once said anything to them to keep it quiet.
Review 52:It was within walking distance for many of the attractions we wanted to see.
Review 53:If you are in Mars or Venus rooms you can hear all the chats in the street and the showers were too far of our room and we had to croos all the common living room to have a shower.
Review 54:It is close to center and there is an excellent ambient if you want to drink some beers and chat with other guests.
Review 55:It is about a 30 minute walk to central copenhagen, like it is walkable but you will be exhausted walking to and from the place. Like it was not a huge problem for me as I didn't mind walking but if you want to go out somewhere in the night time, you will most likely need a taxi or be with a group of friends at least.
Review 56:A great first experience for a hostel because I did not expect it to be so nice and clean for a hostel, but it was that I didn't even feel like I am staying in a hostel. The people I was with were amazing as well, a nice mix of guys and girls which eased my worries as I was travelling alone. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and also it is a nice relaxing place to unwind after a long day of being all tourist-y. :D I'll definitely come back to this place if I visit copenhagen again.
Review 57:Ok...cant say its really bad..but a few more bathrooms in the hostel whr i stayed 2nd night wud have been grt..the hostel has 2 buildings..the night i slept in 4beddorm was really cool n the 6bed dorm wasnt as cool..
Review 58:Everything was jst enough and considering the price it was worth it..nice group of ppl in reception and also the tourists were young..location wise also it is superb..20-25 min frm central station..bus stop (no 66-stop griffengeldsgade) is nearby..metro around 10min (stop name -forum)...n i kindaiked the danes..very friendly n helpful :)
Review 59:A bit far away from center or metro. 2 different buildings, you need to get out to the street to go to a bar or reception
Review 60:Helpful and welcoming staff. Cozy atmosphere, good lounge to sit and drink beer. Bar at the reception, so no need to go out for that. Spacey rooms with big windows. Lockers for free.
