Kissamos Windmills are situated in Drapanias village, 21.7 miles from Chania. They consist of windmill-like studios and apartments built around a large outdoor swimming pool with eco-cleaning system and a sun terrace. WiFi is offered throughout.
Windmills air-conditioned rooms include a fully equipped kitchen, refrigerator and TV. Ground-floor apartments open out to a terrace with direct access to the garden, while first-floor apartments offer a sea-view balcony.
Guests can order traditional meals in advance, which are cooked in the wood-fired oven of the complex. Kissamos Windmills also features a children’s playground, as well as a pool bar serving snacks and refreshing drinks.

Review 1：The appartment we rent was smaller for six people (two rooms only and two beds on the living room)
Review 2：This is small appartments with every thing needed and lot of charm. The place is very peaceful and the swimming pool is great.
Review 3：If you are looking for a sun holiday for the family with entertainment,well stocked bar, cocktails and good facilities for cooking all that you associate with a self catering holiday then this is most definitly not the place. It is very rural and you will need a car if you are going to stay here.
Review 4：The staff were friendly but with little english. The complex is within walking distance of a quiet beach. Two tavernas on the beach which were good. The sun was shining!
Review 5：probably because of the end of the season of our stay we were not pleased to find that kitchen appliances were not working properly (one of the electric fire would not work, fridge was without handle and without ice window so it was freezing our things). bar and dinner options were not available either. shower was warm but not hot, as it depended on solar energy. all in all it may be a very good spot during the season, but do not go at the end of it

Review 7：Room under bar, hearing reception telephone, noisy traffic on mail road, bedroom window at car exhaust level on entrance lane, told one price on arrival then charged more on check out, money taken from my account without my agreement, unhelpful staff, no hot water, no headroom in kitchen, pool not worth getting into, surrounding area like a dump.

Review 9：We had to pay an extra amount per day, because they put us in a room for two persons , there was a license behind the door , witch confirmed that the room was for 2 persons... Our booking was for 4 persons...

Review 12：The location -close to Balos & Falasarna; Elafonissi & Paleochora are within 1-hour drive. Nights on the terace and by the swimming pool... All amenities needed for an apartment... Clean...
Review 13：When we booked the apartment we noticed that there were only 6 apartments, so we expected to share the pool area with only 5 other families. Unfortunately that was not the situation. There are at least 15 apartments and the pool gets crowded and there are not enough sunbeds. At the same time, the family who owns the place have friends visiting who totally occypies the pools. The three women who came with their 7 children were rude and paid no attention to their children, so we had to leave the area because the children were totally out of controle. When we booked we specifically asked for a room on the first floor with a view. Insted we got a small dark apartment on the ground floor with the smallest bathroom we had ever seen. When we contacted the receptionist she apologized but could not offer us another room because they were fully booked. The next day, the family living on top of us left but the manager did not offer us that room instead. We had booked our stay with breakfast and dinner but we did not get value for money. 5 out of 7 days we got the exact same breakfast. Two days we had vegetarian dinners (over cooked potatoes and beans that could not cost more then one euro to prepare) and they served the same side dish every day: greek salat and white bread and they only serve water for drinks. Compared to what you can get on restaurants it is not worth the price you pay and the quality is poor. On the restaurants you can get 3-4 startes and 4 main dishes for 50€ - wine and water included. Also you eat by the pool at Kissamos windmills while other guests are swimming and splashing water on you. The beds are to small for normalsize people and there are no light for reading for the persons who sleeps on the pullout bed. Not at all a good experience.

Review 19：The staff is very nice and super kind. We arrived ther at midnight andnevertheless something very good to eat was prepared for us. ThePosition is perfect to reach the best beaches like Balos. It is quiteand at the same time quite near to Kissamos.
