Review 5：We had a half board. No drinks are included for dinner, not even water or soda is served for free. You have to pay for the drinks at hotel prices. Also, there was a piano player at the lobby that played "elevator music" during the entire evening. After a while it gets annoying. We went in october. There was practicly no entertainment for kids inside the hotel, appart from the pool, which was full with elderly guests, so - no fun for kids.

Review 6：Service and agility of the staff is on high level. Location is perfect, hotel is practicaly at most 20 min by car to any location in Istria.

Review 8：This hotel is recently remodelled and very clean with a nice, modern design and an almost perfect location right at the sea. Even better, the surroundings are exceptionally quiet and far away from any busy road. The hotel facilities, swimming pools and the lawn are kept in excellent shape. Upon request we got a baby crib in the room and a highchair in the restaurant for our one year old baby. We went in late September: the temperatures were around 22-25 Celsius, the sea water temperature 20-24. Great for a good swim. It never got crowded at the pools or on the beach.

Review 9：The only thing that bothered us was the bed. The mattress was far too soft and the pillows were too high. On our request pillows were changed, but with those with a memory foam, which we are not used to sleep on, so we did not get much sleep. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Review 10：Very disappointed that outdoor pools were quite cold and not heated. In fact one outdoor pool was empty for maintenance. The 6 outdoor jacuzzi pools NEVER operated despite the notice saying they switched on for 15mins in every 25mins. The indoor pool was bearable but was definitely not a warm 28C as promised. The breakfast buffet was very limited in scope and the available cooked food was generally cold. Cold bacon and eggs!!!

Review 13：We loved the hotel location ,set amongst pine trees and close to the sea. The food choice was amazing and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The rooms were spacious with luxurious bathrooms. It was easy to visit other places - using the road train, bus or boat- all just outside the hotel.

Review 16：People 'reserving' their sunbeds at 7 am in the morning and then not showing up until the afternoon. The hotel should come up with a system to prevent this (e.g. number the sunbeds). Dinner buffet was not consistently good. Have been 3 years in a row and 'clientele' seems to change: more mature couples in the past, now more young families with babies and young children although hotel has no facilities for young children.Still a great hotel.

Review 19：The Laguna Parentium is a wonderful hotel living up to all the expectations we had having seen the video and photos online. It is beautifully designed and finished to a very high standard in every part of the hotel. The pool areas, sunbeds, Spa were outstanding. The quality and choice of food for breakfast and dinner was simply too class. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We left with a longing to come again as soon as we can.

Review 20：the only issue is with shower, it is not as comfortable as it should be. water pressure is not sufficient and water temperature is changing frequently.

Review 25：Too big hotel for our taste. No charm. Extremely clean and organized but very expensive. 90% are German guests at the hotel who early reserve sun chairs so nothing is avaliable for the remaining :-( It is included a buffee in the half board but that was not good at all. Like a staff canteen rather than nice resturants for hotel guests. Did not like this at all. We got a room with balcony and sea view but this was totally use less since there was a wall so you could not see anything without hanging over the wall and the sea was to the left.... very charm less balcony on third floor. Would not recommend this at all.

Review 31：Though the booking listed onsite activities including diving, water boarding, horseback riding, and organised excursions... most are onsite and are only available during specified time and day so you must coordinate prior to booking so you know to be available on those particular days, this was extremely disappointing.

Review 41：As soon as we arrived I slipped on the marble floor at the front door. I landed very badly and there were two members of staff (both male) standing at reception desk. I was hurt and shocked and it took some time for them to come to my aid. It was clear neither had first aid training. One wanted to lift me but I feared I had broken something. Eventually I managed to lift myself up very slowly. Then they expected me to park my own car ! Very poor customer. I have suffered with my back ever since my visit! Also, whilst the hotel has WiFi, the constant logging on with less than memorable passwords is irritating.

Review 42：As per my previous review I cannot fault the hotel design, location, facilities, food, cleanliness or comfort of rooms and bed. Restaurant staff are very helpful especially as my husband has to have a special medical diet and they helped with that.

Review 126：Behind the beautiful facade were a couple of less persuading things: the drinks at the bar have a mediocre quality at best and when we tried to order room service we were handed from one person to the next until we were finally able to place our order. Same when we asked them to pick up the tray. Because they didn't speak much English one person simply hung up on us. That is disappointing. Also the bed sheets weren't changed in the announced two-day intervals. The outdoor "hot tubs" were no more than tepid. The gym is a mere 6-7 devices. So all in all: nice ambience but a bit lacking in quality of service.
