Review 1：The bathroom smelt of stale urine! Looked clean but the smell was bad. We stayed in room 201 for New Year's Eve. The rooms are very dated.

Review 4：I liked having hand soap/shower gel. Plus I'm allergic to feathers and you have hypoallergenic lovely fluffy ones. Plus where you are is a 2min walk to your lovely restaurants with yummy food.
Review 5：Could do with check out bein an hour later at 12pm rather than 11 to give more time for breakfast and check out, we were a couple of mins after 11 back to room and key card had been deactivated so unable to get our bags from room, hence trip down to reception to get card reactivated

Review 7：The location is quite out of the way; you'll need a taxi or car to get into Lincoln. But it's only a minor point, and we were happy to travel in.

Review 11：Quite a way out of centre..No good for someone on a tight budget cost £11 from train station to Hotel and there after cost £8 in a private cab to centre from hotel.
Review 12：Staff recommended Damon's for food give me a slip with room number on and said show to staff for 20% off and put it hotel bill on leavin I was in car park when the door staff came running out and stopped me saying I have not paid the bill I have never felt so ashamed in all my life I went back in and they said oh it's ok we put it on your hotel bill I was not happy
Review 13：Room was freezing and the wind was blowing through gaps in the window. Paid £98 for Bed and Breakfast, restaurant packed for breakfast so was waiting ages and we got told we had to pay for tea?! Breakfast was ok but if you are used to a help yourself, all you can eat buffet type brekky (like premier inn) you're going to be mightily disappointed. Order from the menu. Beans OR tomatoes OR mushrooms but not all 3! Maybe stay at the hotel but eat breakfast elsewhere and take an extra jumper!

Review 15：The room was shabby dirty and smelt of ur one. All fixtures warn. Duvet like paper. Such as massive disappointment coupled with the dreadful food. We will not be returned again. Should have gone to the premier inn.

Review 17：The room smelt damp, the bathroom had damp on walls, the door was broken, the curtains wouldn't shut, the toiletries where empty.

Review 21：I stayed 1 night and I cancelled the balance of my 3 day stay as the wifi was not sufficient to work from my room. The room was dated and cold. The bed was uncomfortable and I did not like that I had to go accross the car park to get food. But the main thing was the wifi.

Review 25：We have stayed at damons regular as we have friends in Lincoln. The bed this time was terrible the springs had gone in the bed and created bumps therfore I had an awful nights sleep! ! If we stay again the first thing I will do is check the bed as I think its a lot of money to pay to be uncomfortable.

Booked and went to adjoining restaurant having booked- had to wait 20 minutes for a table which noone warned me about so spent whole time clock watching- not a good way to relax and when meal came it was not what I had ordered

Check in is not until 3pm.Turned away even though i'm sure there must have been a room ready in the whole place. Room dated and badly furbished. Bathroom not very clean and dated. Sink not in the bathroom but in the bedroom. The attached 'american style' restaurant appeared to have security guards on a Sunday Lunchtime.

Review 47：We liked everything about our stay, the reason for our stay was to attend a Graduation Ceremony at the Cathedral and the young lady in the party was Graduating, she comes from Ghana and my partner is also Ghanaian and he was at school with her back home. So for them it was a first time stay in a motel/hotel in the UK and it made a good impression, so I thank you for that.

Review 61：It was a bit far out from Lincoln, traffic was bad and although it was only five miles from the city centre, it took us quite a while to get there as the traffic was bad. That's not the fault of the hotel of course, but I think I'll book nearer the city the next time. We didn't get a great nights sleep, there were people coming and going during the night making noise, and some loud chatty woman woke us up at 6.30am taking at the top of her voice. The breakfast was big, although we felt a bit rushed, I got the full breakfast but couldn't eat it all as it was greasy due to being fried.
Review 62：The staff was lovely, there was one young girl who was very chatty and friendly when we checked in. The rooms were nice, a bit like a premier inn. Clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were very soft.

Review 68：The bathroom was a joke tiny bath and shower head about a meter and a half high so had to practically kneel down for a shower. There was a large patch on the ceiling where mould had been cleaned off but needed painting over and the tracing paper toilet roll was a nice touch ! We stayed in september and the room was so hot and stuffy it was awful tried opening window to find it didnt have a latch to hold it open had to use a hairbrush and wedge it open. After seeing the lovelly photos on the site all i can say is if u do decide to stay only take one of the new rooms they claim to have because the older rooms are terrible.

Review 119：Good quality rooms very nicely furnished . Excellent modern up to date en suite with luxury fittings. Very comfortable bed with quality bedding. Brilliant restaurant serving a great choice of breakfasts by extremely polite waiting staff. This was our second stay here & we shall certainly stay here when next visiting our relatives.

Review 122：The TV did not work through out our stay due to a power cut, we were told on sereral times it woukd be sorted "very soon" however it was never sorted, The room did get slightley cold and we thought this when we last stayed here in Feb but put it down to the weather, but now in June we realise it was the room, there was alot of banging above us, and did not get sorted when we rang up, saying this though we still had a great time and we didnt let it effect our stay.

Review 124：There was quite a 'sewer like pong in the corridor during the stay. The bathroom tap/shower furniture were to difficult to 'unturn and the shower/tap selector lever leaked both ways. The plastic bath surface was extremely slippery whilst taking a shower!

There wasn't a shower curtain in my room (204) and I wanted to shower and change for dinner but I was waiting almost 45 minutes whilst the receptionist was able to bring me one as she was busy with other things.
