Reviews for Hotel Porec
Review 1:Bathroom towels were like sandpaper -seriously need to change them. Otherwise everything fine.
Review 2:Great location, opposite the beach and marina and 5 minutes to the old Porec town.
Review 3:The double bed had 2 single sheets instead of double sheet/duvet which was not great. Otherwise everything fine!
Review 4:Most staff were friendly and helpful. Good location between old town and swimming areas/beaches. Breakfast buffet was fine. Room had all the basics and was quiet at night when windows were shut despite being close to casino/bars etc.
Review 5:The hotel is a little oldish, but the rooms are ok.
Review 6:Great location, in the heart of Porec, everything is in short walk distance. Breakfast is good, wi-fi is also.
Review 7:Fresh coffee for breakfast would make a huge difference, the vending coffee is not good. The noisy seagulls woke me up early, but that is to be expected when staying next to the sea.
Review 8:The hotel was nice and clean and safe parking and shopping is right on the doorstep.
Review 9:The staff were cheerfully helpful, efficient, and sorted a prescription problem for us. The room was spotless, and breakfast was tasty and generous. I would return happily.
Review 10:being part of/on top of a casino .. its pretty noisy.

Review 14:No wifi in rooms (only in lobby)
Review 15:Hotel Porec looks rather ugly from the outside, but it is a lovely little hotel in an excellent location by the marina. 2 minutes away from the old town, and 2 minutes away from the beach. Most, if not all, of the balconies have a view of the sea as they are located on the side of the building. The breakfast was also really nice and the staff friendly and helpful.
Review 16:- Personnel can be quite blunt, but I do think it's a bit of a Croatian thing.
Review 17:- breakfast is ok for what you pay - clean tidy rooms -perfect location
Review 18:I liked everything about the hotel and the service. Thanks to it my stay in Porec was really comfortable. Thank you very much to everybody who works there!

Review 51:Great location, friendly and welcoming staff, excellent breakfast!
Review 52:The situation of this hotel is perfect, it's near the beach and the town.
Review 53:Crawling distance from the bus station (but a little further from the center). Hotel itself really good and the noise of bars/casino did not bother me (sound proof window).
Review 54:nothing
Review 55:This hotel wasclean, comfortable and close to the centre for our quick visit. We even had a nice view over the marina from our spacious room. Good value for money
Review 56:WiFi in room was weak
Review 57:Location 4 min walk from beach and 7 min walk from shopping center Hotel parking good Next to BILL supermarket Restaurant had good food Room with balcony had sea view Good and assitant stuff
Review 58:Close to the bus station, supermarket, and seaside with markets also was within walking distance to ferry terminal and shops.Staff were friendly. The breakfast was excellant and you could sit out on the balcony off the dining room.We needed to leave early so the hotel provided a breakfast box.Would stay there again.
Review 59:hotel is situated next to, and above some bars and a casino. Can be a bit noisy, although the windows are pretty noiseproof.
Review 60:Excellent breakfast buffet, clean room/ bathroom. bit small, couldnt open suitcase except on the bed. Close to the city center and the boats.
Review 61:I booked a two beds room for two persons. It shows in my booking record, which you can check. But when printed out, my reservation became for one person only. I did not checked since the printout was in small letter, difficult for me to read. Therefore, I was asked to pay 55% more when checking in. It's either booking.com website has some problem or Hotel Porec is doing something tricky. Also, the receptionist promised to show up the next morning to exchange local money, but did not until we checked out.
Review 62:None
Review 63:Our expectations were not high because we were expecting a pit stop type of hotel. Comfortable and clean. It is a good hotel and the breakfast was OK too. Convenient to the Venice ferry.
Review 64:Although all of the rooms have balconies they do not have a view of the sea because they are at a right-angle to it. Can be noisy on weekend nights.
Review 65:Very nice and accommodating staff. Ample breakfast, great location for town, easy access to shoreline bike path, and next door to a Billa market and bus station. Good bike storage facilities.
Review 66:Wifi only works in public rooms.
Review 67:Good location for bus station and a 5 minute walk to harbour/town. Good selection of Croatian food at breakfast. Comprehensive supermarket next to hotel.
Review 68:This is a lovely friendly hotel with an excellent breakfast. It isspotlessly clean and provides free, speedy internet. We were really sorryto have to leave the hotel. Porec is a beautiful historic town andenthralled us with excellent restaurants and shops. Public transportcould be a bit better for reaching the enchanting hill towns of Motovunand Grozjnan which are well worth visiting. Also, the tourist officewasn't of much help in directing us to the Parenzana rail-trail thatlinks Porec to these towns and which also continues on to Slovenia andTrieste in Italy.
Review 69:The double room is quite small and not allowing the suitcase laying open and flat.
Review 70:The hotel is just right next to the bus stop. We leave there and head to Ljubljana very early in the morning, the staff offered us a breakfast pack.
Review 71:The only issue is the hard water of the distrct and the bath soap they provide is limited and they seems to made little bubbles. Do not try to bring a kettle to boil water in your room, the water will spoil your kettle!
Review 72:The location is excellent for bus riders, for easy access to Zadar tourist spots, tourist train, pier and they have a full scale supermarket just 5 meters opposite linked complex. I was allocated to a nice room 307 at a corner with balcony with beautiful sunset view! It is the most beautiful view room I have for the whole trip! The breakfast is sufficient wiyh lot of breads, 5 cheeses, butter, jam, honey etc, 4 cereals, milk, 3kinds og egg, cold cuts and sauage provided early from 7am, on my last day, I need to go early, they pack me a meal good enough for I must praise the cook for excellent half biled eggs just right for breakfast like the volcanic eggs. They have 4 types of coffee, some 10 kinds of tea.
Review 73:- Great location: litteraly next to bus station and to the centre of Porec- price/quality ratio is decent (no great confort but good enough for the price)
Review 74:Not all the hotel rooms have the best view. Not very relevant if, like me, you had a conference. But had two friendly sea-gulls by the balcony.
Review 75:Location It was right by the bus station. Excellent for going everywhere in the area. About 5 minutes walk from the peninsula centre, 10 from the most remote point. Free internet with no queues in october.
Review 76:Bathroom could have a better ventillation. Some sensitive guests may find the city noises disturbing, which I fortunately didn't.
Review 77:Excellent value for money! Very clean and well-tended. Breakfast is buffet style, the food is good. Highlights are the vicinity of both the city and the beach. Charming view of the city and the port if your room opens to the north.
Review 78:Hotel very well situated in the city. Room and breakfast were good. Possible to have breakfast outside on the nice terrace Parking close to the hotel
Review 79:no swimming pool, massive construction nearby the hotel, in general the hotel was a bit overpriced
Review 80:great location (close to the old town and beaches), good breakfast, a balcony in the room

Review 82:The location, the dinner
Review 83:All was OK, except the breakfast coffee out of a machine.
Review 84:Quite noisy from outside bars
Review 85:Good bar Location Friendly service Take away breakfast
Review 86:Loudness from the bars near the hotel.

Review 92:no internet in the rooms
Review 93:location
Review 94:Central position. Good selection for breakfast

Review 97:Location, close to the bus station and to the center of Porec
Review 98:Very convenient location for bus station and ferry to Venice. It was bright, clean and very comfortable
Review 99:the flush of the toilet was problematic.
Review 100:friendly staff, location was great and included free parking, nice breakfast.
Review 101:expensive, not up to the level, standard as they required for the room rate.old design
Review 102:good location
Review 103:Location, value for money, WiFi, good breakfast
Review 104:Its convenient location, the price and the friendly, efficient staff.
Review 105:The noise from the machines nearby building the supermarket.
