Review 13:I liked that we had an ensuite as I had looked at other places before this booking and most in stranraer were shared facilities, cross haven guest house is immaculate and the hosts were very welcoming.
Review 14:We would like a lighter duvet as we were too warm overnight in a warm July night. Admittedly we didn't ask for lighter bed clothes.
Review 15:The friendly hosts, the spacious room, the cleanliness and the facilities. It is an older property but facilities are right up to date for a guest house. The house and small gardens are kept immaculately.

Review 40:We liked everything. The owner was really helpful, pleasant and attentive to our needs. The room was very comfortable and spotless. The breakfast was absolutely top class with a great choice. We enjoyed watching the birds on the feeders outside in the pretty garden. It is only a short walk into the town centre and there is plenty parking at the rear of the property. We would certainly return here if we are in that area again. Don't miss out!
Review 41:Hard to find, satnav takes you nearby but not to exact location. Beds were creaky, gave impression of not being sturdy (though still comfortable!).
Review 42:Friendly staff Room size, cleanliness and comfort. Pet friendly - major bonus!
Review 43:I thought the lady could have been more sure of where to eat. Shegave us the option of two Chinese restaurants but was unsure aboutwhether another restaurant was finished with refurbishing and theonly other one was on the way to the next town. As we didn't likeChinese we opted for one which we had found walking around thestreets and it was terrible.
Review 44:The room was very comfortable
Review 45:The TV was situated a little high (on top of the wardrobe) so caused a crick in the neck after some time!
Review 46:The location was excellent and great value for money! The room was very comfortable although not too warm (due to high ceiling?) but the bedding was very warm. Breakfast was as requested and served promptly. It was conveniently located near a leisure centre that I was able to access during my stay.
Review 47:The one and only negative thing I have to say about the place was the fact that I was awoken several times during my stay, even in the middle of the night, by the dog barking downstairs. If/when they shut it up, the place will be perfect.
