Medusa Resort & Suites offers traditional Cycladic accommodation surrounded by lush gardens. It has a lovely swimming pool overlooking the sandy beach of Plaka, located a few steps away.
Medusa rooms and suites are uniquely decorated featuring handpicked furnishings. Each air-conditioned unit is fitted with a satellite TV, fridge and hairdryer. They all have a balcony or veranda enjoying sunset views.
Guests can start their day with a continental breakfast served in the dining area.The indoor Gazebo restaurant and the open-air La Pergola serve local and international dishes. Medusa also has a pool bar and a beach bar, where guests can enjoy their drink in tropical settings.
The resort can provide snorkelling and canoeing equipment to its guests. It can also make arrangements for other outdoor activities, such as wind surfing and horseback riding.

Review 1：It's a beautiful boutique resort set on a quiet section of Plaka beach, away from the tourist crowds. We stayed two nights (specially chosen as the relaxing part of our Cyclades trip before heading up to Mykonos) and found the resort the perfect spot for enjoying the beaches and some water sports. Hotel's beach is great and sandy. Yet the beaches nearby, especially the Mikra Vigla are even better and worth the trip as they are stunningly clear and beautiful. Hotel's beach bar is perfect both for lunch and romantic drinks in the evening lit by the moon and the stars with the addition of sound of the waves washing the shore. It's a shame they close it at 10pm but probably that's for keeping the resort quiet. From the driver to the waiters at the restaurant, everybody is very welcoming and friendly. But most importantly one person takes the extra step and makes your stay excellent. She's (I'm assuming her title) the front desk manager Mariangela Karlovitch. From booking wind surf lessons to finding a gym to arranging a rental car, she solves everything and makes you enjoy a stress free holiday.

Review 4：A little far away from the main town, but that was fine with us. You can rent a car or motorbike and get around easily.

Review 5：Beautiful hotel right on the beach. Friendly and helpful staff will see to your every need. Great breakfast. The beach bar was the best! Excellent beach front. It's nice to feel like you're off the beaten path.

Review 6：I cannot praise the Medusa resort enough. Situated on a quiet but stunning stretch of Plaka beach, it ticked all of our boxes and more. We were particularly struck by the friendliness of the family who run the resort and their supporting staff. We were greeted on the road as soon as we arrived in a taxi and our immediate impression was one of friendliness and a desire to be of service. A lovely lady, named Mariangela, seemed to be in charge of the customer facing activities and she absolutely personified true hospitality and customer service. Her manner was excellent; nothing was too much to ask. If we even mentioned an interest in passing or asked a question about activities on the island she would do the research, make the calls and arrange everything. Argenta dealt with many of our enquiries when Mariangela wasn't present; she also went out of her way to be helpful. We felt completely at ease with every detail. I'd also like to mention two of the waiters, Eddie and George who were very warm and friendly when serving us our delicious meals. All of the staff we were obviously adhering to high standards of service. I have stayed at many hotels where the staff go through the motions of good customer service - nothing to complain about but you can tell when it's not heart-felt. This was one of those rare times when the staff really seemed to enjoy being helpful and obviously wanted us to have a positive and memorable experience. I can only put this down to a culture and ethos of hospitality at the heart of the business. Thank you very much Medusa, we shall return! :-)

Review 12：Things to improve: 1- provide shade for parking, for those tourist coming with their own car. This was extremely annoying. It would be enough a "military net", like the one of the patio, in the beach bar. 2- Details in the furniture (eg: closet doors and shower doors get often stuck, go out of rails due to age, not enough space for placing objects in the toilette....(not so important - but for the price range the Resort aims to, these details have to be taken care of) - pools bed: some of them are broken, and need repairs

Review 13：We are a family with young children and were loooking for a place who could combine easy and safe beach with close shade area, possibly with facilities with drinks and easy meals for the kids. These place suits perfectly. No road between the hotel and the beach. Also swimming pool with sea water, which is a plus (we are not fond of swimming pools, in general, and especially we do not come to Greece to spend time in by a pool). The distance from the center did not matter to us, as well as the difficulty to reach it. Staff young and very friendly. I like kitesurfing, and the place is few minutes away from the spot, without being on it, which could be annoying for non kiters (eg. my wife ;-) ).

Review 15：perfect location, right on the beach...with either sofas, tables and chairs or sunbeds ...very helpful and friendly staff...location is remote,so a rented vehicle might be best for trips to town, which is always bustling in the evening...if you want a quiet and beautiful beach, this is perfect

Review 25：We stayed at the Medusa Resort one week in September and we really enjoyed our stay. When we arrived we got an room upgrade and had a nice room with a big balcony! The hotel is located directly on the beach (I think this is the only hotel in Plaka which is directly on the beach without the sand round between hotel and beach). The staff was very, very friendly and helpful. It is not directly in the center of Plaka Beach, but this is ok because we loved the quietness of the hotel. The beach bar is perfect to have sundowner in the evenings, just sit and relax and watch the sun going down. In the evenings we walked on the beach about 15-20 minutes, then you have a view little restaurants. If we come back to Naxos again we will definitely return to Medusa Resort!

Review 26：Stayed at the beautiful Medusa Resort in July. I can't recommend this place highly enough - It's biggest asset, apart from the incredible location, is the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they did everything to make our stay wonderful! The breakfasts were lovely, with enough choice to cater for anyone. We also had dinner there on a couple of evenings and the food was great.The rooms were lovely, but to be honest, apart from sleeping, we didn't spend too much time indoors! Medusa Resort lies on a gorgeous stretch on Plaka Beach - perfect, secluded setting, away from the crowds. It was our favourite spot in Naxos. The beach bar served fantastic drinks and snacks (even the music was great!) We can't wait to come back! You'll need a car as it's a little remote.
