Review 1：Internet - sign is weak and need to move all over to get connection. Hot water is not avaliable in night and early morning. Host- We got Hi and Bye, not to friendly!!!

Review 5：Location is great, near to the beach,2min, owners are simple greek couple with a lot of care for their guest. Room was clean every day, even a bathroom was cleaned well. Breakfast was also good, enought food... Near is a Gerakini town where you can find a smal shops with souvenirs and restaurants and also with Supermarket. Is a good location to reach the other Halkidiki places, Sithonia, Kassandra...

Review 7：The owners are caring hotel and guests around the clock- perfect English is spoken- the rooms and balconies are big, well equipped and perfectly cleaned by a motivated housekeeping. Its just a 2-3 min walk to the beach which offers umbrellas and sunchairs just for a drink. Gerakini is a place for families who like it a bit more quiet and inexpesive.We were there now for the second a surely not for the last time.
Review 8：Too noisy Romanians next to us ( the owners have no guilt ) and this is why the quality of sleep was not very high. Sometimes the afternoon resting hours are not kept and this might be an issue for customers with kids. A little noisy due to the fact that it is located on road which is not the main one to Sithonia but it is surprisingly busy and trucks are passing by regularly.
Review 9：My review is based on the expectations that I have set up in advance by reading reviews from other people. This is why I knew already that the WiFi is poor but as per me it is related to the fact how many people are using it at the same time ( nightly it was pretty accessible and we had no issues to check sites and mail ). Also we were informed about the "symbolic" breakfast and were prepared for that already but we did not go there for the food anyway. I strongly recommend the place ( the hotel along with the village ) for people with little kids - nice sand, water with no stones, calm beach, very pleasant taverns on the sand itself, brilliant atmosphere, relatively cheap for food, souvenirs, supplies, eat out-s. The hosts are very friendly and the rooms are cleaned every day with no exceptions. There is an yard where a kid can go and play. Gras and flowers are taken care of by one of the parents of the owner :) The place is almost literally on the beach ( 150 m far away ) and there is a designated playground on the sand!!! No high building, no noise from bars and restaurants or drunk tourists.

Review 26：It is a friendly family run hotel. The owner of the hotel, his father, mother, and wife are so friendly, kind, and helpful. They all can speak English very well and help what you need. Absolutely you feel like you are at home. The hotel is so close to the beach, you can reach in 2 min. by walk. Location is perfect for who would like to visit both two peninsulas, Kallithea and Sithonia, because the hotel is middle of these two. Rooms are big, clean and have big balconies. I highly recommend you to stay here, if we go to Chalkidiki again, will definitely stay in the same hotel.

Review 29：Located at the crossroads. Cars and trucks do not stop. Noise in rooms facing the street is unbearable. This is not a place where you like to spend your vacation.

Review 32：As previous year, everything there needed for a successful vacation: lovely people and surroundings. Cleaning services as in a 4 stars hotel. Sunny weather, warm clear water, we even had waves for two hours. We enjoyed a far night thunderstorm - wonderful view from the balcony - with unusual colors, lights, sounds and only few rain drops on our ground. Same diversified breakfast as last year that fills you up with energy for the entire day. We could easily noticed the investments done in new furniture/mattresses/fence/sanitary equipment/lighting box/TV (although in 2012 we did not realize their need). The car trip from Bucharest via Sofia took us 10 hours with 4 short stops of 10 minutes/ea. Briefly: wonderful family vacation and felt sorry for leaving - but we'll be back for sure! Thank you!
Review 33：Quite noisy at night, сleaning of the rooms in our presence. Inconvenient bus schedule. Look around you can only by car. We must transfer three times to get to the centre of Thessaloniki.

Review 35：Gerakini is a small place located between Kassandra and Sitonia which makes it very convenient to visit all places around Halkidiki. Sand beaches in Gerakini are quite nice, spacious,calm and have smooth access to sea (accessible for small children). Akti Liakada Hotel is located at a short walking distance (2-3 min) from the beach owned and managed by a very nice,super-friendly and english speaking greek family that is always there to welcome you with a smile and to ensure you fully enjoy your stay.
