The ancient town of Poreč is 6 miles from the Valamar Club Tamaris. You can venture out and explore museums and galleries housed in town palaces as well as the Euphrasian Basilica with a Byzantine mosaic. Shuttle service to the center of town is available from April until October, and boat transportation there is available in June, July and August.

Review 1：Relaxing Pool was not so relaxing as there were always a lot of kids there. The ground around the kids swimming pool was a little bit broken so kids could hurt them selves sometimes.

Review 2：Very family friendly hotel, staff is so nice and food is fantastic. Kids club is also very good and there is always a lot to do for everybody in the family. This year I got WiFi in my room which was nice.

Review 12：We enjoyed the food. But unfortunately it was very difficult to choose food for our baby child. Mostly all food was salted and done on oil. I would appreciate a baby food corner with some food and vegetables just steamed or bolied in water for the very little ones. I also didnt like the soft drinks during meals.. Very cold:(

Review 13：The "all inclusive" is not so. Drinks outside the restaurant, ice cream and chairs by the beach were not included. This should be clearly specified.

Breakfast Lunch and Dinner tables were reserved and no where to sit but in the back behind the curtains .. Not what I paid for and the fact one of the workers moved the chair while I was sitting to tell me it was reserved even thought the table was dirty . That was very disappointinting!! So overall wifi and reserved tables were disappointing

Review 75：The heat was still on as of May 25th. With no a/c, 75F during the day and a loud band playing outside our room till 2330, allowing us to not leave our balcony doors open for the cool air, we were very hot. After 2 calls to the front desk, the hotel finally brought us a fan for one of our two rooms. The a/c was turned on the next day.

Review 76：The resort was in a very beautiful place and very relaxing. The kids enjoyed attending the kids club, they are ages 7 & 10. The rooms were clean and we had a nice view of the ocean through the trees. My hubby and I were in one room and our two kids in an adjoining room, which was very nice. The all inclusive plan was a great deal.

Review 77：The absolute lowest point is the dinner. Not that the quality of the food is that bad but you do eat in a canteen with hundreds of places and you do have to queue for your dinner. And people do get stressed and the atmosphere is far from relaxed. And this was out of season I can't imagine how this place is like during July of August. During our stay there were also couple of school trips (lots of teenagers without any adults) in our hotel and a Spring Break going on just some meters far from us. As result one afternoon of a extremely loud music. Also to mention is that there is a stone quarry on the opposite side of the complex. You do get to hear it occassionaly and you do have a view on it all the time. As we stayed as a family we had two double rooms. They are very small. Also the balcony was tiny and not very cosy. The rooms are basicallly just to sleep in, not to spend any time longer. We had one set of twin beds - very comfortable and one double bed which was very hard and slept extremely bad. A kitchen ventilator was located just in front of our balcony. We had a constant noise from it and regularly also the smell of the kitchen.

Review 78：I have a mixed feelings about this hotel. Definitely, not a place to come back or to recommend. The pluses are: The animation for kids was great. Our son had a great time at the children corner and the evening disco. The animation team is great! As we were out of season the size of the hotel swimming pool was good. The same goes for the spa facilities. The complex is very big and you can have great walks in the park and along the coast. Even though we booked a park view room, we were upgraded to a sea room view room. The bathroom was quite spacious. The room was clean and kept clean during our stay. The staff was very professional and friendly.

Review 79：No free internet in hotel rooms. In room we feel high humidity in air. Bed was not comfortable. Room floor is from ceramic tiles, very dangerous for small children. When our child was bitten by a wasp, personal cannot help us and we went to Porec to find a pharmacy. Instead of reservation money on my credit card reception worker do payment at our first day.

Review 81：Very bad internet WiFi network connection should be improved. (you can find fast internet at the main reception of Lanterna - Info Point). With the small kids is better to use rubber protection shoes if you are swimming at rocky stones beach.

Review 82：Very nice and positive memories about one week stay at Valamar Club Tamaris hotel. By case we choose VCT to meet our friend who is second time were in this hotel and I hope we can come again. Our 2,5 years son was completely happy with kids’ corner in the restaurant and other kids facilities and playgrounds. Beach and all pools are quite good and you can find any place for your choice. During the evening time you can also find many opportunities for fun. Bikes rental is really nice: easily and fast you can get bike with baby seat. So, I hope we can come to Valamar Club Tamaris again!

Review 83：Internet is only available in the lobby. But that is not too important to me, because then I finally stay away from the computer! :-) The rooms are a little small with a baby bed in it. I also would have expected the shower to be a little bit nicer for a 4 star hotel.

Review 84：It's a great hotel! It was our first vacation with our 10 month old baby. We mainly stayed around the pool - there were always free chairs. It's also great that you don't have to bring your own beach towels. From the hotel it is a 15 minute drive to Porec. It's a nice little town. The food at the hotel is really good. My husband enjoyed the free beer. :-)
