Reviews for Villa Sunray
Review 1:Nothing.
Review 2:Everything was great. The place, position of villa (great view), the personal was very friendly and kind. The rooms was very clean. Thank you, Villa Sunray, for fabulous holiday.
Review 3:Absolutely great, we felt like we were visiting family - we were taken care of like kings. Everyone was so friendly and nice, the view was divine and the rooms extremely clean and functional. We are already make plans to go back.
Review 4:I enjoy fresh stuff for breakfast so I brought my yoghurt and fruits but than´s my taste... besides that everything was perfect!
Review 5:The staff was increadibly friendly, helpful and warm. Whenever we had a question they did everything to help us. We payed 40€ per night with breakfast included, the price is really ok for what you get there. The rooms have an astonishing view over the sea and small balconies. Everything was cleaned every day. Breakfast is on a small terrace in front of the house with sea view under lemon trees. The Breakfast is ok, coffee, cake, cheese, bread, jam. To ask a second coffee was no problem. Sometimes we got fruits. The owner has a restaurant at the sea where we ate very well. Stuffed Calamaro and Lamb was extraordinary. The village is small but nice, some tavernas and bars, flowers everywhere, the beaches to the left and to the right are wonderful! To reach village and beach you have to walk down some stairs. Overall we loved our stay at Pelion peninsula and we liked our location Villa Sunray a lot - really to recommend :)
Review 6:The tv was old and had trouble finding all the channels. Also, the wifi signal was either very poor or non existent in our room (top floor).
Review 7:the stuff was very friendly, agreeable and helpful as to where to go for daily excursions! Our room was clean and with new furniture and our balcony was the ideal place to sit on a cloudy day and watch the waves at the beach. On a sunny day the garden was excellent to sit and get to know other people, while the hotel's restaurant "Akti" at the beach served us fresh fish at a great deal. The first day we overslept and missed the breakfast by 5 min. but they still made one for us! I strongly recommend the quince jam they make - it was delicious.
Review 8:Perfect place, very nice people, warm place. Made me feel like home! Their Akti Tavern has great food! Best of what I had the chance to try!
Review 9:The fact that the lady, the only person who is ever visible there, does not speak any English at all, which made it extremely difficult to ask for anything. The owner is never there and not available at any time. The restaurant exists but is closed. This is not a hotel at all but a room-renting place; which is not what we expected at all. The worst point though is definitely the location of this building, on top of an incredibly long an arduous flight of steps which happens to be the only way to go to the village and to the beach. The owner wouldn't let us leave one day earlier than initially arranged and would not pay back the money for one night.
Review 10:We liked the cleanliness of the room, the wide terrace downstairs,
Review 11:They don't speak english, only greek. Only the owner speaks a little english, but he is not in the house.
Review 12:Everything was very good, the view was nice, they were very kind.
Review 13:-breakfast started late at 08:30. -restaurant located 107 steps below villa, needs good 5 min walk to get to; but probably quieter this way -shower cabin a little small like many hotels in Europe
Review 14:-excellent, helpful & friendly staff -beautiful view from balcony -impeccably clean & good service -good & reasonably priced meals at the restaurant -nice cozy decor of room -fridge & safe in room -accepted credit cards -staff spoke English reasonably -quiet at night- away & high above beach road. -very good value
Review 15:clean rooms, green terrace friendly staff
