Review 2：Old rooms, haven't been painted for years, cobwebs everywhere. Pets weren't allowed. The price didn't match the location and the rooms. It's promising a sort of private beach, but it's horrible. The linen and towels were of questionable cleanliness. We had to drive 50-70 kms for a nice beach. We left one night earlier.

Review 6：We would like to thank Theo and his lovely family for outstanding hospitality and kindness! They were very helpful in any possible way and made our holiday really pleasant. As for the hotel, it is located in a very quiet green harbor close to the sea, the facilities include large garden with a playground for kids and plenty of olive trees. BTW, Theo’s homemade oil, olives and wine are just excellent. The rooms are nice and very clean, and the cleaning lady comes every day for a quick cleanup, and changes bed sheets and towels every two days. all necessary kitchenware is included so it is really nice to cook your own food from fresh local products It it strongle recommended to buy fresh fish, mussles and octopus from a fisherman who comes to the road opposite to the hotel at approximately 10 AM every day, but however stay away from people selling fruits from the trunk: we’ve got cheated by them once. We also recommend to rent a car, since the location is pretty remote from supermarkets and sight seeings, while public transportation is not developed. The only disadvantage of this is the stone beach but it can easily be avoided if you move about one hundred meters along the beach. And be aware of moscitos: those little insects can become annoyng during night time.

Review 9：I wish there was some kind of small restaurant, where you can have coffee and some lunch, like soup for the kids or traditional greek dishes. Actually you can buy coffee from the hotel next to Kalliopi, but there is not a place to eat within a walking distance if you are with small kids.

Review 10：This was my second vacation at villa Kalliopi and again it was great. I wrote about the pros in my previous review. It's perfect for families with children with its huge garden right next to the beach. We'll visit again next year!

Review 13：The beds are uncomfortable, the interior of the rooms is very humble and shabby. There are no shower curtains and everythings gets very wet in the bathroom. If someone looks for luxury, high-standards and lots of amenities that is not the place.

The room was cleaned every day, the bedsheets and towels were also changed every day. The beach just next to the propperty is very small. We were there out of season and it was perfect but during the season it would be very crowded.

Review 15：The apartment was very bad furnished and not cosy. The hotel really need renovation in order to be better place for comfortable and pleasant stay. The owners were very kind and nice but should really think seriously for some repairs. There is not enough umbrellas at the beach which you can use so you should bring your own or go to other beaches.

Review 29：We had a couple of problems with our room when we arrived and the owner promptly moved us to another room being vacated that day and it was perfect. The apartments are literally seconds from the quiet beach, the views are beautiful and the gardens tranquil and beautifully maintained.

Review 65：The view and the garden is priceless, everything is adapted to rest and joy for whole family. Beach is at 50m distance, you can fish or dive on one side or enjoy in safety of sandy, shallow part of the beach with your small kids on other side. Host family is very pleasant and helpful.

Just a really small note: during the period we were there the villa was full of people, so it was a little bit noisy in the afternoon when we would like to have rest and sleep ( people scraping with chairs and tables at the terrace) as well as the beds in our room were too noisy (creaking at every single move). Still, we will definetely go there again! And again!

Review 71：It was our 5th time visit in Vila Kalliopi. And we definitely will go there again to spend our summer vacation or long weekend. The villa is very cosy place for relax. Every room has relatively big terrace with great, beautiful sea view and the sea is just some steps from the villa. You can enjoy amazing sunsets…and the owners of the villa are one of the kindest people we have met in Greece.

Review 74：We had to move rooms even though we were only there for two nights. We also saw a family of four move, with a lot more baggage than us. Some of the pans were in need of replacement.

Review 81：We had to move into another room for our second night,but we did book two nights on different days, so give and take! We only travel light so no big problems really . Another family had the same problem and they had a lot of baggage to carry about. Maybe some of the cooking utensils could do with replacing .

Review 83：Our stay in Villa Kalliopi in Gerakini was very relaxing and pleasant. We stayed in the ground floor room which was excellent for families with children. Garden is gogeous with palms and olive trees, very soft grass gentle enough for children runing around barefoot and enjoying it very much. Beach is very nice, with sun beds, it is quite and it has very good micro-climate, much better in comparing to the near beaches that are only 200m away. There is BBQ area equipped with all necessities, so if you are meet lovers you will enjoy grilling your dinner surrounded by beautifully park area. Our host Theoharis is very nice and friendly gentleman, who produce excellent vine and olive oil, which you must try if you want to experience true aroma of Greece. We sincerely recommend their villa if you want to have unforgettable stay in Greece.

Wifi didnt work in our room properly.The hotel is quite old so the furnitures need to be renewed. Our bedwas broken at night, they tried to fix it in wrong ways twice butthan finally they changed the wood holding the bed completely so itwas fixed. The staff wasnt good enough to fix these kinds of problemsbut luckily friendly enough during the process. The windows needmosquito nets.

Review 92：The rooms are cleaned daily, towels and sheets changed every couple of days. The garden is wanderfull - as in pictures, big, with palm trees and hundreds years old olive trees, orage trees, lemon trees...and so. The beach is at the end of the garden, a little narrow and a bit rocky, but they putkind of rubber mats in the water so you can cross the difficult zones. All in all was excelent!
