Review 1：Stuff is really professional and helpful ( everybody has smiley on their faces). Great food on buffet breakfast and dinner. Room big and clean with beautiful view. Our son loved swimming pool.

I think anything longer and it could become boring as not much to do in porec. Hotel would definitely suit family's and those lookin to sun and relax.

Review 14：no isolation between the rooms or the floors we could hear water going down the pipes in the toilet in both rooms (on two different floors) and hear the conversations of our neighbors on both sides.

Review 17：Wellness, indoor pool, live music in the bar. It was our fourth Valamar Hotel of the holiday and the highest rated and probably the best. We had a good deal at the end of the season. Staff helpful. Room large, bed very comfortable.

Review 18：It was rather cold in the room (and the heating was, obviously, not available at this time of the year)... A couple of thicker/warmer blankets would have been nice - but this is just a minor issue.

Review 19：The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent, with a wide choice of very tasty options. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The hotel is located a short walk away from a beach (the typical Istrian stone/pier type of beach).

Review 21：The hotel staff were outstanding especially those in the restaurant under the management of Marija, the reception staff and housekeeping. The pool is lovely and the tennis courts and fitness suite in top condition. The location is wonderful close enough to Porec to walk into the beautiful town in about 15 mins. The rocky coastline is idyllic and the people very friendly. With the current Kuna/Sterling exchange rate at over 9 to the £, it made our 10 day break very reasonable indeed on a half board basis using all of the facilities available such as laundry service and lunch at the pool cafe. Aquapark Istralandia is a short drive up the road as are the caves at Baredine and both are well worth a visit. Motovun is a little further away but a visit is essential and lunch at the Hotel Castels at the top of the village was delightful and cheap.

Review 22：Everything was amazing in the hotel f.e. staff, location, restaurant etc. The hotel is not to far from the sea... it is a quite long walk from the city center. I was many city in Croatia before as well, but that was the best hotel. I'm offer for everyone.

Review 23：During my stay the fire alarm went off. I came down immediately to find fire engines and firemen around the building. No effort was made to evacuate the building and when I asked if it was a drill or real, the staff member was unable to tell me. I expect a much better safety plan and reaction.

Review 25：Elevators not well placed and rather small for size of hotel. (one had first to go up a steep ramp/steps) Price of extra amenities not provided, especially relating to beach facilities. Recommend that some early evening light entertainment (piano etc) be provided in the foyer, this would create a relaxed atmosphere and encourage more people to use the sitting area and bar.

Review 29：Valamar Diamant is large, yet staff maintains a personal touch, are very friendly and give a feeling of easy going. Meals are overwhelming; we never experienced such a broad range of choices and quality in buffet like arrangements for so many people. Facilities are very complete, and one can relax under a tree with a book, or pass a nice time with children at the swimming pool, enjoy the wellness or fitness centre and the (stony) beach is a few hundreds of meters a way only.

Review 106：The scramble for seats in the dining room in the evening; seating space was too tight in relation to the number of guests. The lobby of the hotel is dismal and does not invite one to relax there in the evenings The hotel was too industrial for our liking with large groups of coach parties coming and going. Worst of all was a party one night in one of the conference rooms, with blaring music, which went on until 3 a.m. and made sleep impossible even though we were on the 6th floor and had the windows closed. We will definitely avoid this hotel when we return to Porec.
