Barackvirág Panzió sells fast on our site. Barackvirág Panzió is located on the northern shore of Lake Balaton on the Tihany Peninsula. It offers a peaceful location 1,000 feet from the Inner-Lake (Belső-tó) and a 10-minute walk from the centre of Tihany.
The rooms and apartments were renovated in 2013 and offer views of the garden and come with free Wi-Fi. The air-conditioned accommodation units further include cable TV and a private bathroom with a shower.
The pension features a heated outdoor pool, opened from 15 May to 15 September, and a landscaped garden with a sun terrace and barbecue facilities.
Free covered parking is available at the Barackvirág. Luggage storage is also possible on site.
The Baroque-style Tihany Abbey can be visited within a 10-minute walk. From the Tihany Port 1.9 miles away, you can take a ferry boat to the southern shore of Lake Balaton.

Review 1：Excellent location, wonderful owners, cleanliness, big apartments and everything needed, we could even bring our dog, for sure we will come back again as often as we can.
Review 2：we were just for one night stay and unfortunatelly there were a noisy "owner's" party because the parents (owners) were out of the penzion :)

Review 4：Property is 15-20 walk to center and all uphill. I would definitely recommend staying somewhere closer. The owner wanted to charge more of the extra bed than booking.com said, and only gave in when booking.com told them to. The extra "bed" in question turned out to be not bed at all but a folding mattress. The owner also told our kids (and us as their parents) to be quiet, when they were playing loudly and happily. Even though it was middle of the day and all the other guests were probably somewhere out. We've been to more than 50 hotels with our kids without this happening, so we were very surprised. We would have hoped she would at least have asked nicely. No possibility for breakfast.

Review 10：The shower was easily blocked (by hair) and had to be cleaned after every use (more of a problem with the shower booth model though...) The rooms weren't very soundproof so even small noises from other rooms and the shared kitchen were audible.

She made us feel comfortable and printed bus time tables for us. - very stylish room, the choice of colors and furnitures is very harmonious - great neighborhood, in a peaceful village, with lots of trees and flowers - it would seem that the host took into account some of the previous user feedbacks as we didn't have any problem with hot water and the window was equipped with a net (which strangely didn't prevent a wasp from entering though)

Review 21：It is a fair way out of town if you are on foot. Taxi prices are more expensive than New York! No soap or anything in the bathroom. Mentions a pool but this was not functional and more of a back garden pool than a hotel pool.

Review 23：This is a beautiful, well kept property. The manager was very nice. The location makes it an easy 1o minute walk to the center of town. She provided helpful information about Tihany. Breakfast was on time and good.
Review 24：The only thing we can complain about is the shower. You hava to wait 10 min for warm water and it has almost no pressure. Sometimes water goes from warm to cold which is not really pleasant. Also flushing the toilet is a bit wierd as sometimes there is no water for like 10-20 minutes. (they ve got a sort of save water system) Improving the bathroom would make it an absolutely perfect room.
Review 25：The owner were lovely although their english is not perfect they are trying hard to explain everything and answer your questions. We wanted to go horse ridimg they pick up the phone for us, and although it wasn t possible after all, got all the info for us. We had breakfast on the two morning we stay for 5euros pp and it was lovely very good and nicely served. The room is very clean quiet, and decorated with taste . It s not far the center of Tihany and close to trail departure if you go hiking. It is also close to the bike rental shop, very practical. We had a very relaxing stay. The parking is free and in front of the house. The price of the room is really fair and make it a really good deal.
Review 26：We didn't have hot water in the shower at all (and we discovered it in the middle of the night) so its important to check it when you check-in.

Review 28：The hot water to use the shower needed to run for a good 5-6 mins beforeyou could get in to wash your hair, so don't be in a hurry! Also theshower cubicle itself is quite small, so if a guest is in anywayoverweight, the would struggle to fit!

However, we were there at thevery end of September, and at 8pm, it was dead silent, felt more like itwas midnight!
