Review 1：great Hogmanay party,well run and a great breakfast on new years morn,the staff were friendly and attentive and the food was well served. I would certainly return to the woodhouse hotel.

Review 3：The staff are outstanding, as is the food, bar and garden area. We had a very comfortable stay and slept very well. (Loved the little shortbread stars). The location was perfect for us. We will definitely go back.

Review 10：On the first two of my three days stay I got no breakfast as they explained they didn't serve breakfast before 08.30 at weekends. I found this unacceptable. I was booked on trains both days and needed to be out of the hotel before 8.30. This was a poor way to start the day, I thought.

Review 11：The hotel was conveniently placed on the seafront, and was comfortable and very warm. There was a bath, which I liked as I'd been walking each day and I welcomed the relaxing soak, and I think the hotel is excellent value for money.

Review 12：My bathroom was so cold. The window was so draughty the curtain was blowing out so I had to put the bathroom mat there to stop it. Too cold to have a bath so only had a very quick shower. My sister tried to have a shower in her room and the water was only tepid, so she didn't have one. The free Wifi, which I really needed to use was virtually non existent .

Review 14：Price - very expensive for what we got. Room was very cold despite extra heater provided, balcony door blew open in the night. Room was filthy especially under bed and behind cabinets.

Review 16：I could not book in early as requested ( and granted on internet), I was overcharged initially, the bathroom floor was covered in long. black hairs, the bath did not work, only the shower, there was absolutely no WiFi.

Review 82：The property is very tired. The stairway carpets is theard beare. Cobwebs on bedroom ceiling. Light fittings torn. There was a noise in the wall cavity "dripping sound" all night. Run out of hot water during shower. Dirty mugs on breakfast table. They were replaced when it was brought to their attention. Definitely not value for money.
