Reviews for Sirene Blue Resort
Review 1:The shower in the bathroom was very strong. Wish it had a more adjustable one. There was a very disappointing event at the end of the wedding party on Friday the 18th of September when some people throw raw eggs at about 330 am on the guests and one raw egg fell on my daughters head. No one knew from where the raw eggs came at this hour.
Review 2:The room and bathroom were spacious and good. The staff were very helpful. The beach was nice and room service was good. Breakfast was very good.
Review 3:not a great dinner menu but didn't really matter too much as there are good tavernas nearby.
Review 4:Very relaxing, amazing spa, great staff, very efficient.
Review 5:Only the showers can be upgraded to a little bit of more luxury.
Review 6:We loved the view, the richness of the breakfast, the cleanness of the facilities and the value for money regarding the good quality food. The staff is always with a smiling face. The overall feeling of the hotel is very relaxing, pleasant and heavenly.
Review 7:Location on the remote side of the island. Stunning views and every room has a balcony and view of the Saronic sea, friendly staff, private beach, spa.
Review 8:The standard twin room is quite old, specially the bathroom. Need an update too as the rest of the hotel.
Review 9:Excellent location! Nice beach. Very good menu.
Review 10:Bath products Sewage bubbles in the sea Old plastic balcony separators
Review 11:Breakfast variety and quality Sunbeds Staff was very polite Excellent view Excellent bed
Review 12:Beach staff was not attentive and had no customer friendly attitude. A friendly smile was hard to get. In high season month August, I would recommend to hire more beach staff.
Review 13:Wonderful sea view, roof top bar and sea deck. We had an early flight, reception arranged an early morning coffee with cakes and yoghurt.
Review 14:The lifts were incredibly slow and many times was better to walk all 7 floors. Biggest annoyance was not nearly enough sunbeds which fellow guests reserved with a towel or a book (many from the evening before.) People from outside the hotel were free to use these meaning that many residents had nowhere to sit.
Review 15:All rooms are sea view. The public areas are decorated to a very high standard. Many different areas to sit and relax.
Review 16:The reception ladies were slightly patronizing. They should be replaced by the young energetic enthusiastic and very polite staff everywhere else in the resort.
Review 17:Fantastic view - Perrrfect location. Beautiful water and great food.
Review 18:Very nice location, beautiful view from the room! we are not typically "beach" people but we enjoyed the private beach of the hotel in this scenic bay! Also very good service at the beach!
Review 19:Staff at times a little unresponsive. Mainly in beach taverna and roof top lobby. I quite often found myself wIting for 20 mins to give a drinks order. Waiting staff seem to concentrate on beach area to offer a service but don't come near the poorl area. Waiting service inconsistent, seeme dependant on the individual staff members who appear to like their job and want to keep the guests happy.
Review 20:Amazing location, staff very friendly. Beds amazingly comfy. Lovely relaxing hotel. Reception staff fantastic and always willing to help out. I enjoyed my stay and would book again.
Review 21:Slow wifi in the room and often there was no signal on the beach, people outside of hotel are allowed to use beach and sunbeds. Room rates should be a bit lower
Review 22:Extremely comfortable Coco Mat beds, clean room, very attentive room maid who changed our towels and bathroom amenities twice a day, nice touch mosqito net on the balkony door and ceiling fan, good variety of food for breakfast (which lasts til 11.30 a.m.), taverna and restaurant offer excellent food (pricey but fresh and delicious), crystal clear sea, nice little pebble beach with comfy sunbeds, kind and polite staff
Review 23:Breakfast was supposed to be at 7:30 but rarely did it start on time. And in my opinion if people want a specific spot at the beach then they should come use it and not just put a book or something on that chair essentially reserving that spot for when they get around to getting to the beach.
Review 24:I love the location and the swimming and of course the awesome view. The bed is very comfortable and I love that the staff remembers your name and your preferences. It's nice to be remembered.
Review 25:Attention to detail produced a stylish, airy and elegant resort hotel. Staff were attentive, friendly, couldn't do enough to make my stay totally enjoyable. One of my best hotel experiences anywhere in the world.
Review 26:No kids channels on TV, but with 2 outdoor and 1 indoor playground, maybe that would be excessive. I hesitate to list this as a negative as everything else was just wonderful. It is a suggestion, not a negative.
Review 27:The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is just breathtaking and the water so so clear, simply amazing! Although the food was perhaps a bit too American-influenced for our liking, it was very tasty and of great quality. The perfect place for families with kids (and everyone else too)!
Review 28:the matress was soft and the pillow was hard. the food at the taverna was not of consistent quality: very good salad, mediocre meat. The nodles at the roof garden restaurant were mediocre
Review 29:location, natural beauty of location, pleasant/accomodating staff, rich/tasty breakfast
Review 30:The description of the facilities is slightly misleading as there is an extra charge to use the tennis court. This "hidden" cost was the only thing that spotted an otherwise spotless stay.
Review 31:Great location on a private beach with crystal waters. Excellent facilities on the beach with a friendly staff.
Review 33:it looked liked all rooms had a magnificent sea view. we travelled towards the end of the season, so the hotel was not crowded and we got all the beaches to ourselves ( end of september) clean, friendly. great terrace for the evening cocktail
Review 34:Hidden costs to use resort amenities ,not mentioned in booking .com description like 25euro|hour to play tennis. ExtremelySmall rooms . Noisy beach area ,trying to relax and irritating music blasts you away. Staff even refused to turn it down. Very relaxed smoking rules in all areas . Better value going to town or nearby village.
Review 35:The view ,location
Review 36:Beach small and very crowded during weekend, could not find space, had to go elsewhere. The pool area needs updating. The bathroom and shower were annoyingly small, the room is small and some facilities were not in good order. Generally everything was expensive, without real value.
Review 37:The location is very nice, the beach probably the best in the island, staff was well trained, the hotel was generally clean, the breakfast was very good.
Review 38:A wedding took place during our stay. We could not sleep that night due to loud music. Nobody seemed to care even if we complained about. Expensive mini bar.
Review 39:Room is comfortable and a good fresh feel bearing in mind the price. A most enjoyable week. Staff were friendly. Good access to the sea facilities and a nice tavern - restaurant besides the pool.
Review 40:Great sea views from all rooms. Small private beach. Friendly and efficient staff. Mostly modern facilities in rooms. Excellent breakfast and good meals in the restaurants. Never felt crowded even when it was full.
Review 41:The food and drink was more expensive than the town and not much better quality. Had the prices been equivalent to town we'd have eaten in hotel more.
Review 42:The views from the balcony, the amazing decking and beach area.
Review 43:Did NOT like feeling like we were in a kiddy hotel. There should be a definite roped off area that is for adults only. The incessant jumping from the sea side deck by children with parents that didn't seem to care about their behavior really put a damper on our enjoyment of the resort. There could easily be a division so that half the beach area could be for families and the other half including the deck could be for adults only.
Review 44:The location, and facilities to enjoy the resort were very well laid out. The staff working down at the sea side deck area was quite attentive and cordial. Loved the option to choose my pillow-type to allow amazing nights' sleep. LOVED the resort!
Review 45:Would have been nice to have coffee maker in room. The rooftop restaurant was expensive and the quality of the food disappointing. Better to take a taxi to Poros Town for dinner.
Review 46:We liked the location, a private bay in Poros with great views. Staff were very friendly, in every part of the hotel. We also liked the breakfast.
Review 47:The only thing we didn't like was leaving! We cannot wait to return next year.
Review 48:We traveled with 2 other families to Sirene Blue for a mini excursion during our 2 weeks stay in Greece. (Kids ages 4,5, and 10) First of all, the island of Poros is stunning. It was our first visit to Poros and we will definitely be returning. The food, the people, the shopping, the yachts...amazing! And, if you are staying on Poros, Sirene Blue is THE place to be! The view as you walk into the lobby is just breathtaking. In all our travels we've never seen anything like it. And the great part is that every room has that same amazing view! The staff were all lovely. From the check in staff, bellman, life guard, servers, room service, breakfast buffet staff, all A++. This hotel understands luxury and hospitality and they deliver it all with a friendly smile. We enjoyed the Taverna for lunch, the lounge for cocktails, and the breakfast buffet is delicious. They serve everything you could think of and more! It was our favorite meal of the day and a lovely way to start our day. The beach is just heaven on earth. Floating in those waters was a spiritual experience. We didn't have a hard time finding chairs if we made it down to the beach before 11a. And, the staff were always willing to help us find chairs together. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer!! We are a pretty picky group of travelers and we LOVED everything about Sirene Blue!
Review 49:The biggest asset of this hotel is its people! Excellent, warm andgenuine service! Everywhere! The location is outstanding. Thearchitecture typical to the building's 70's hip aesthetics andthe decor very stylish! The rooms are clean and comfortable, equippedwith beds and linen of very good quality. Each room has a beautiful viewto the sea. Nice beach. We found interesting the cuisine at the RoofGarden’s restaurant and very pleasant the place and the food at thebeach front Taverna. Try the beach bar cocktails!
Review 50:Hotel management should consider selling some basic things at the reception, like newspapers, books, sun creams, hats, souvenirs, etc.
Review 51:Good hotel - friendly and very caring staff, nice food, quiet location and fantastic sea view!
Review 52:Breakfast to have more low-calories food and less sweets and pastries Difficult to find sunbed in w/es due to non- residents
Review 53:Great Location and Scenery Lifeguard at pool internal and ext playground for children great response and friendly approach from staff Elevator goes to sea level
Review 54:The service on the beach in the afternoon is sometimes slow, you have to be spot the staff or make energic signs.. But this was farely compensated by the excellent music, club-like, mixed by the DJ in the afternoon on the beach. So I cannot be too critic anyway:))
Review 55:The hotel has a superb view of the sea, with crystal clear waters. Honestly, this was the best swimming experience ever: clear and clean water, great temeorature, lots of fish to spot, appropriate for both experienced swimmers and beginners...it seems to be a place blessed by God and the owner really knew what to do here in order to make people feel happy and relaxed: excellent beach amenities, fresh food in all the restaurants (the roof top garden is worth trying, not only for the great live music, but also for its gourmet food and unique cruise ship feeling, while the beach taverna is great for lunch after sun bathing). It is a family friendly resort: rich breakfast to choose from even for small one; enough space in the rooms (!special protection for the balconies as well, in order to prevent babies from climbing); reasonably silent for such a big hotel, swings and playground in the inside and outside etc. The staff was generally very very friendly and helpful. Our baby was happy, we were happy, a perfect vacation! oh, and be sure to experience the SPA as well: mot only an excellent design, but also a special attention for each detail will please you (natural herb massages, which I highly appreciated and which were muuuch better than the ones experienced in other SPAs, excellent pastry gift at the end of the massage, great music).
Review 56:too much music on the beach and service of food along the beach-chairs (drinks OK, but food smelling is not so pleasant, this should be reserved for the taverna)
Review 57:extremely pleasant lounge beautiful situation and clear sea
Review 58:The location on the water, with sun beds on the beach or on a wooden platform with umbrellas, bar service, and clear blue water made this place a standout to other places on the island of Poros. We were no more than 5-7 minute taxi ride to town where we'd go at night to take in the people-seeing. Lots of Greek culture and people walking around the streets/harbour, delicious restaurants for fresh fish -- especially the one across and to the left of the dock. We'll go back!
Review 59:- totally unacceptable bathroom at this price and hotel category!! (at least in the "classic rooms", door does not close, window knob broken, old shower curtain and yellowed tub) - medium quality breakfast (great espresso though)
Review 60:+ Location!! + Beach & nice sundeck + Great music! + Services + friendly Staff + very nice Taverna & restaurants
Review 61:The fact that you had to reserve your sunbeds very early in the morning to secure a place on the private beach. Already before 10 o'clock almost all sunbeds are full because people put either a magazine or their towel on it but only come at 13:00..The hotel should do something about it. Come first, serve first and priority to hotel guests first I would say... Now we had to 'negotiate' or make a quarrel with other guests to get our seats. Not nice to start your day with...
Review 62:The location was superb! Very friendly staff. The renovated rooms are very nice.
Review 63:They have really annoying noise from water pumping station in the basement of the building. If they fix it, than it is a non issue
Review 64:Everything is amazing, stuff is so amazing and helpfull! But...
Review 65:All was great
Review 66:Staff excellent facilities brilliant an exceptional experience. The spa one of the best I have visited . A truly great holiday with exceptional service

Review 70:Location location location fantastic
Review 71:Liked it all. No complaints
Review 72:Secluded location, resort ambiance, private beach, swimming pool, great food, professional staff, comfortable beds.
Review 73:Incredibly beautiful view, luxurious design, very good service, great working wi-fi (not so common in Greece), very good food.
Review 74:An unbelievably breathtaking view. Clear waters, great breakfast, genuinely friendly and polite staff.
Review 75:SPA, PRWINO KAI TO KREVATI
Review 76:Everything!!!! Staff and service was amazing! Very friendly and treated us very well!
Review 77:The spot is amazing and the amenities great. Rooms are a little tight, but upgrading to a suite takes care of any space issues.
Review 78:amazing view whatever the room you have
Review 79:Room was not as modern as photos suggested.
Review 80:Location. Staff. Whole feel of hotel, very relaxing.
Review 81:Poor wifi and no common areas airconditioned
Review 82:Location magical
Review 83:The only issue was not enough sunbeds available, people place towels on them then disappear for hours on end.
Review 84:Superb views, proximity to beach.
Review 85:Excellent resort with excellent entertainment, restaurant and private beach facilities.
Review 86:The hotel was not handicap friendly, every elevator stop required stairs to get to the intended place.
Review 87:The hotel was right on the water
Review 88:Excellent helpful caring staff all aspects. For the money it was a very pleasant surprise.
Review 89:nothing
Review 90:The view was amazing! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach front was wonderful!

Review 104:Great service from all staff. Lovely buffet breakfast Cool, chilled and stunning beach/ bar area. Like a laid back Blue Marlin club
Review 105:Everything!!!
Review 106:A little bit too expensive
Review 107:Kindfull people
Review 108:Great hotel! Perfect 10!
Review 109:Will be back
Review 110:Private beach
Review 111:Excellent location, very helpful personnel, beautifull view, nice beach, excellent breakfast
Review 112:smoking rules seemed to be rather lax.
Review 113:Roof restaurant , shame it was only open 3 nights a week. Beach Taverna great a shame it closed in the evening as menu was more varied than other eating options. Relaxed atmosphere and staff paid good attention to us. Beach serviced well by the hardworking girls and boys.
Review 114:The only one gripe we have is the shower head in the bathroom. Its a very modern bathroom with a stand up shower (no bath) with a non moveable glass panel. The shower head is elongated with 3 different spouts for the jets of water which means that the water goes everywhere but on us. The shower head attachment on the wall is positioned wrongly too. Also the glass panel is not long enough. The water goes everywhere but on yourself and the only solution is to hold the shower head in your hand when having a shower (the water going everywhere in the bathroom is still an issue no matter where the shower head is)
Review 115:We stayed for 4 nights at Sirene Blue Resort. The resort was in a prefect location. Lovely and secluded with just a short taxi ride to the harbor if you fancied eating out or doing a bit of shopping. The staff were extremely friendly, polite and professional. We were very well looked after by the staff who brought us drinks and lunch when we were sun bathing. The reception staff were very helpful and organized a breakfast for us (before official breakfast time) on the morning we were catching the very early ferry back to Piraeus. It was all set up and ready for us in the lobby café. The selection for breakfast was very impressive. The rooms were always spotless. We were in one of the recently renovated deluxe rooms and it was decorated very tastefully. One of the days we were there this very strong storm came in and unfortunately sucked off the roof of a renovated bar/restaurant on the top floor. The staff handled the situation very well and fortunately no one was hurt. All in all we had a perfect time and wished we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back and recommend it to friends and family
Review 116:Rooms were a bit small and decor a bit out-dated.
Review 117:The view from this hotel is absolutely breathtaking. The design of the hotel is very original - it is built on a cliff edge and maintains a very eco-friendly atmosphere The staff here were so personable from the lady at the front desk to the lady who cleaned our clothes. The private beach was very clean and tranquil. A million dollar views.
Review 118:The classic double room needs to be renovated.Doors and bathrooms. The loud music on the weekends from the roof lounge.
Review 119:Very nice and friendly staff. Great location.
Review 120:Although the biggest part of the hotel has been gloriously renovated, some areas still need work. Specifically for our room the fan at the ceiling was ridiculously noisy, while the room facilities and bathroom were reminiscent of the early 90's.
Review 121:Location is perfect, great view both from the rooms and the lobby, fantastic breakfast.
Review 122:Old (classic) rooms are a bit small
Review 123:A wonderful hotel in a perfect location. Going back there inAugust with my family. I strongly recomend this hotel and special thanks to the fantastic staff
