Reviews for Villa Petra

Review 1:Owner is very kind and helpfull! Restaurante is very nice, room is very nice and clean. Vila petra is very well situated. We will be back for sure and will recomend it to all our friends!

Review 2:Located at the end of Brela and more peacefull than in centre. Super long walk to the centre (it takes 45 minutes) and even possible to walk all the way to Makarska. WIFI is for free (regardles of what is stated on booking.com).

Review 3:fantastic location, beautiful blue sea, loooong walking promenade.... You must see it!!

Review 4:Location, balkon

Review 5:They ran out of electricity twice (all the street was in dark forseveral hours), so we had to use candles (although for sure wasnot their fault, this was quite a big inconvenient, as we coudn'tdo anything in the meantime).Besides this, our experience was avery good one.

Review 6:Very friendly and helpful staff, really close to the beautiful pebblebeach. Excelent food ! we really enjoied it.

Review 7:For the period of two weeks we spent in Croatia this hotel was the best place to stay. The rooms are cosy and well-furnished with all necessary items including good a\c. The personnel is very friendly and amiable. It took us one minute only to get from the hotel to the beach. The hotel is located in a quite "green" place. We would specially outline the cuisine of the hotel. Apart of the breakfasts we enjoyed the dinner every evening, and they were outstanding. Every dish was wonderful! Also we want to tell special greeting to Zvonko, the master of the house. Since we were travelling by bus we had to walk 1 or 2 km from the bus-stop to the hotel. Zvonko picked up us at first when we arrived and then when we left the hotel. If we come to Croatia again Villa Petra will be our must-visit place, no doubt.

Review 8:Place is on far end of Brela, there is no post, bank, exchange office or some shop near (except one newspaper store), so you must go by foot to centre (several kilometres seaside walk) or go by car.

Review 9:Nice location, restaurant in house, good staff. Good for some quiet holiday.

Review 10:Poor cleanliness of the room, no change of towels and linen. Scarce breakfast (just eggs, 2 types of sausages, 1 type of cheese, yoghurt, cereals, butter) with no juices, bad coffee, no cakes. We were deceives about view of the room. All rooms as appeared to be are of the same price but only first and second floor have seaview. Really greedy owner that ties to save money where it is possible and not after getting good reputation. It was my most great mistake I have ever made in choosing hotels via booking.com though thanks to this company I visited Nice, Canaries, Barcelona, Brussels, Venice, Paris and other places.

Review 11:Location is good and staff is smiling. Rather attractive prices and excellent cuisine at the restaurant. But that's it positive about this hotel. Service was much lower than in 3-star hotel. During one week staying they changed our towels just once when we left a massage to the staff. The owner commented than they have to change towels just one time in 3 days if a customer asks to do it and it is a typical practice for all hotels in Croatia!!! He also told that his hotel is not a 3-star hotel but pension. Room service was really poor, they didn't change linen at all, there was no shower stuff. We had to throw away our garbage by ourselves. There were no towels for the beach, so we had to buy ones. And finally we booked a room with a sea view but got garden view. I explained to the owner that it was not what I booked. But he answered we must be happy to stay at this room and all others are occupied already...When we got acquainted with out neighbors it appeared that they also booked seaview room. At the end of the staying we asked the owner for a small discount regarding all these disadvantages and got his refusal. So the hotel was the total disappointment for us. May be it was just because we are Russian and Ukrainian people?

Review 12:The AC didn't work well in our room.

Review 13:The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Review 14:Although we asked for a non-smoking room, the room smelled awefull. Even the pillows smelled of smoke....

Review 15:small numbers, old number of rooms, the price quality doesn't correspond

Review 16:near the sea
