Located on the shore of Lake Balaton, Club Tihany Bungalows offers individual units with access to thermal pools and a large sports centre. The bungalows are air-conditioned and equipped with a fully-fitted kitchen.
The neighbouring Hotel Club Tihany provides a spa area including an indoor pool, a pool with massage jets and a waterfall and an outdoor children’s pool. Guests can relax in the hotel’s sauna or steam bath. Massages and beauty treatments are also offered.
Set within a nature park reserve, Club Tihany Bungalows provides water sport facilities for surfing or sailing from May till September, as well as a sports centre for tennis or minigolf, among others. Guests can also go kite surfing, kayaking or bowling.
A restaurant with international and Hungarian cuisine and a bar are on site. In Summer, a beachside restaurant and a pool bar are also available.

Review 1：Awful pizzeria restaurant at the hill of the resort , food was untasty and extremely salty . Bungalows are pretty and look good but it has an unpleasant scent and it was very damp, if doors not opened for few hours smell gets stronger .Bungalow was very dark inside .Cleaners visited the bungalows once a week ,towels and bed sheets changed once a week aswell ,the place tended to get dirty often.

Review 2：Private clean beach with enough sunbeds. Indoor facilities great ,perfect for rainy days .Good entertainment in the reception every wednesdays .

Review 3：The whole resort needs refurbishment, as it's beginning to look and feel a bit 'tired'. Minigolf was way too expensive - either needs major revamp or should be offered free of charge.

Review 7：The Bungalow was dirty and full of cobwebs. The internet signal was very bad on our Bungalow. The room with 2 beds was very small, and 1 person had to sleep on the couch. The Staff was not friendly, they did not speak English and they were always grumpy.

Review 12：Te bungalow is so stylish, everything is wood and more then enough space for 4-5 people. And the biggest plus point is, the Balaton around 300-500 meter, depends on your bungalow position.

Review 15：These bungalows are not kept clean. For a week they did not change the towels, no cleaning, they run down about 30 years old wood cottages with no updates! They over charged me when compared to the published price list and even wanted me to pay for the commission for bookings.com. This place is a health hazard as the bungalows have mould. When I told them that it was not suitable for us, they did nothing to change it. They charge half the price of the bungalow for a standard room that comes with breakfast and dinner. This is really not worth it! It is a rip off! Don't book it.

Review 17：Lack of basic essentials: daily replacement of towels, WC paper. Upstairs sleeping unit was too warm despite AC availability. Unit was too small compared to the price. Building needs upgrade to accommodate quality stay.

Review 21：The cleanliness! Could be improved The staff could be a bit more knowledgeable about the area, some seemed completely clueless!! Also if you missed breakfast in the Hotel, no way to get any food until 11:30 when the grill restaurant opens! ..

Review 29：We stayed in a cabin. The cabin was in a very bad state. It appeared to have never been cleaned with a strong musty odour that had us finding breathing difficult. The curtains and upholstery had possibly not be cleaned ever since they were put up .... Maybe before Glasnost. The bed cover was dirty. The lighting was very poor and it made the whole cabin feel even less hygenic. We decided not to use the toilet/ bath other than to brush our teeth in the night. We had had a long day before we checked in, and that possibly helped in us being able to fall asleep on the very uncomfortable beds. I also thanked my stars that I was not travelling my children as the children's room was surely the filthiest room in the cabin. I had the clothes I was wearing immediately laundered at our next stop! Surely my worst hotel experience in all my travels, redeemed only by spectacular Balaton and surrounds.

Review 37：This is NOT a 4 star hotel, it is a post communist hotel that has not been renovated since 1970s. Do not understand how could it get a 4 star! Rooms are way outdated!!
