Situated right on the main beach on the village of Koufonisi, Aegeon is a beachfront hotel that features a restaurant and a bar. Only 350 feet from the main port, it offers accommodation with free Wi-Fi and views over the Aegean Sea or the courtyard.
All the rooms are air conditioned and simply decorated with traditional furniture. They all have private balconies. Each unit is equipped with a fridge, a satellite TV and a safe box.
A rich buffet breakfast is served either at the rooms or at the on-site restaurant, where guests can also taste Greek specialties during the day. The sea-view lounge bar serves drinks, beverages and light snacks.

Review 1：Bad experience from us. The driver who picked us take our bags and told us to go walking to the hotel because other customers were waiting and had no room for us. they accommodated us in a basement, a room with no windows and a meter from a restaurant with techno music .very loud. We asked to change room, they did and charge us a higher price (to much for that hotel) The owner has a big face and ignore us. That's not the greek hospitality that you are used to. We do not recommend this hotel to anyone. The breakfast was good. Manoli & Cristina

Review 2：Poorly insulated and compact, so extremely loud: noise from both the hotel bar downstairs & the rest of the rooms. If you need a good night's sleep, just forget it. Greasy breakfast, when the local delicacies are just around the corner. Unpolished staff service. In brief, stay away - not the hotel it used to be.

Review 3：The location is central, but in such a small island makes little sense.

Review 4：booked the room with the front view, didn't get it. Very bad smell in the toilet and in the room. Toilets with constant water noise. No internet in the room. The food at the restaurant wasn't really good (calamari were not fresh)

Review 5：The staff are soo nice! Insisted on picking us up from the port which is only a short walk away, gave us great advice and made us feel right at home, by far the best place we stayed in over two weeks travelling! They even woke us up and took us to an early ferry at 2am. Great place, great staff, great value for money.

Review 6：Myself and others booked the hotel as they had rooms with sea view. Unfortunately many of the rooms did not (mine had a view of a bar, tree and a coke sign...) but were still being sold/charged as such. Poor handling by the staff of people who felt cheated. Only when people got really upset, did they do something.

Review 14：A little on the expensive side but apart from that almost perfect. Especially the staff. The staff go above and beyond to please their guest. Service level in this hotel is very high

Review 15：The fridge in the first room looked scruffy and was dented and the freezer compartment was unusable as it had 3 inches of ice in it and it was therefore impossible to put the ice tray in and the fridge door didn't shut properly. The fridge in the second room needed defrosting but was usable.

Review 16：We requested (this was only a request and not guaranteed) a top (2nd) floor room with a double bed but were given two singles on the first floor. Elizabeth on reception was exceptionally helpful and immediately moved us to another room with a double bed on the same floor (not too sure why we weren't allocated this in the first place) and then arranged for us to move upstairs the following day, as soon as a room became vacant. She was always on reception with a welcoming smile and nothing was too much trouble for her. Good breakfast in cool courtyard.

Review 18：The hotel is just in front of the unique beach of this little and amazing town in Koufonissia. People is very nice. They gave us a 4beds room very calmed and we asked to change it and they did it the following day without any problem. We decided also to have breakfast there (5eur pax) which is easy and nice. It is perfectly place in the beach. They have a bar-rest downstairs perfect for a meal of a drink.

Review 19：our semi basement room was much too noisy, being located right by the outside bar, loud music started around 8.30 am and continued until around midnight. we had to keep the shutters and glass doors closed to get away from the music which also invaded the patio when we wanted to sit and read.

Review 21：The staff, with one word. Most of the time no one was stationed at the front desk. Non-english-spoken personel though highly turistic area. Not everyone seemed suited to work in hotel business. Though, there was friendly staff there as well, who helped us with problems and made us feel at home. Poor wifi, you can´t access cia your room (sit in lobby). The hotel seems more luxurious at the pictures than it really was in reality. (See: Basic european/american standard).

Review 22：The place is located by the front beach, wich is nice. But there are even better places further in at Koufournissi. The coffee bar at the front is nice, making good filter coffee and cappuccino. From the hotel you can easy access the harbour and the ferries.

Review 24：Hotel has a strategic location, right on the sea and to the port only two minutes. Rooms in Cycladic's style, clean and equipped with air conditioning, minibar and television. Breakfast reflects the hotel's style, simple but satisfying: bread, butter, jam, fried eggs, bacon, cake, yogurt, cold cuts, cereals and muesli. What makes the hotel's experience really special is Elizabeth, the girl at the reception, which welcomes and supports you in your every need as a true lady of the house; smiling, polite and always helpful made our stay really enjoyable. Gay friendly hotel and this makes you feel at ease every guest.

When we wanted to check out at 8 o clock, there was no one at the reception and when they came they made a rather sexist comment like "the guy always pays for the room" (which was not the case and certainly not the owner's business).

Review 74：The terrible owners The room price The room . The room was 60 euros pers night and was underground although stating ground. The Shower water was just staying in the bath passing ahead of the toilet basin . Terrible place really couldnt stay there even for a quick sleep.

Review 76：The breakfast buffet was quite small and there was always something missing (bread, cheese, hot water, etc.). They only added very small amounts when asked. This could be easily better managed. The wifi didn't really work in our room, but was ok in the lobby.
