Review 3：We had a room on the 5th floor in the block behind the front row units which had water views. I asked for a unit with water views and got a view of the front row units roof and overlooking the air conditioning and exhausts vents from the restaurants. In future I will insist they not put us in this block and will be happy to change my holiday dates so I get a waterfront unit or something better.

Review 5：One of the mornings we slept in, when room service knocked, we asked if they could come back, however, they didn't return. This was OK as it was our first night, but, just giving you the heads up.
Review 6：We had an ocean view unit which was fabulous! We had originally booked a 2 bedroom, non-ocean view room and asked if we could upgrade to an ocean view if one became available. The staff stayed in contact from our first booking and were fantastic. We were delighted to hear there had been a cancellation. The quality, service and location was awesome!

Review 10：Our 3 bedroom apartment was generous in size and beautiful and clean. Beds were comfy as well. Pools were great and I like the extra large spa. We were there Christmas day and I liked that we got a visit from Santa and he gave us a beautiful fruit cake courtesy of the Rumba.

Review 14：Didn't use our car walked every where. Down a few steps and you were along the beach front and lots of places to eat. Go back up the hill 1 block and your in the main street. Took a photo of Santa the Grandchildren though it was just great

Review 24：Staff fulfilled all my booking requests, they were nice enough to to give us a gorgeous room and even a box of chocolates and a card for my boyfriend as I had mentioned the overnight stay was a birthday surprise for him. Apartment was lovely, very clean, bed was comfy and spa was lovely. Great location!

Review 27：Only complaint is the noise first thing in the morning ( say 5.30am ) when the bins are being taken out and returned to car park. We will stay there again definitely but will request a room that is not directly over the car park entrance.The first day we were there it was like a thunderstorm rolling through. This happened I think every day of our 10 day stay. Besides this it was 10 out of 10.

Review 40：Don't try and eat out. We had had 4 out of 4 bad dining experiences. The service and treatment of us by management at Hogsbreath was the worst I've ever experienced. Just as well we could go to Coffee Club for breakfast. The main street is fairly run down and it doesn't make sense when there are so many tourists.

Review 43：Great location close to all the Sunshine Coast attractions without being too busy. Our apartment was modern and bright with first class views. Couldn't really fault anything! The icing on top of the cake would be a swim up bar - but then, you can't have everything can you!

Review 50：Stove exhaust fan didn't work so had to deal with a smoked out apartment when cooking lunch/dinner, Very uncomfortable bed/pillows. Partner had to sleep on the couch because the couch was more comfortable leaving me with at max a 2hr sleep a night. And that being the first night and about 30mins the 2nd night. No big bins in the hallway and with shopping for food and some wine, all bins where filled within 1hr! first afternoon there. Only big bins are down in the parking lots but where mostly fall in my section!.

Review 52：Perfect location, size of unit, cleanliness, friendly staff, comfortable beds. The Rumba has quality furnishings, great restaurants close by and beautiful pools. The views are pretty looking over the water with the Glass House Mountains in the distance. We also enjoyed visiting the friendly, locally run shops and boutiques. Caloundra is much nicer than Noosa. Noosa has sadly become over commercialized, too busy and pretentious. Our preference is to relax and rejuvenate at the Rumba!

Review 55：Bed was a little soft for my liking. A little noisy in bedroom on level 2 which was almost street level on northern side of complex in main tower.

Review 57：There wasn't much for the kids to do whilst in the resort. A games room would have been nice and maybe a small waterslide. Also, a sauna or steam room would be nice too. We were in room 414. Every morning at approx. 5:45am something turned on (possibly above us). At first I thought someone had turned on a spa bath but as we were on the top floor it couldn't have been. The fact that it was every morning at the same time something must be timed to come on but it was a shame it woke us up early. I did mention it to reception when we checked out.

We were on top floor but were woken up every morning from 7 am / 7.15 am with kids screaming, splashing and running around pool areas... Perhaps changing it to open at 8 am would be better for such an exclusive resort...

Review 71：The noise!! Even after buying earplugs for the whole family, we could not get a proper nights sleep. The windows in the bedroom offered no noise barrier - literally none, from the constant buses, the garbage trucks at 5am emptying bottles for several high rise apartments

Review 90：Very spacious service apartment. Kids lived the spa bath in the master bedroom and the heated pool in winter. Many choices of cafes nearby. Very close to beach and convenient location to go nearby attractions like Australian zoo, Aussie World, Maleny dairies etc.

The pools are long and thin and between tall buildings. The only time they would see sunshine would be at midday!

Review 125：Rumba is a modern and stylish resort with amazing beach views. Impeccably clean, our 3 bdrm ocean view apartment was spacious and we were so delighted when we arrived. The staff were incredibly helpful and made everything a breeze. Ellen at reception was so friendly and went the extra mile to help us book some activities. The resort pools and Jacuzzi were fun and unique, and definitely a highlight. I hope I have the opportunity to return one day! We could not have asked for a better choice of accommodation in Caloundra.

Review 131：Location was perfect. We didn't use our car once we were checked in. Rumba is so close to the beaches, restaurants and everything in between. If you can hire their bikes and take a ride along the coast, it's surprisingly a relaxing scenic ride.
Review 132：The Resort accomodation is at the back and the view is a concrete building with air conditioning units,not very nice at all. To get a view of the Pumicestone Passage, you must book an Ocean View room. We did not know this until we got there and it spoilt our stay, I wish we knew about it first.
