Review 1：We were surprised by the attention and the fact that we got much better room then booked. Wide choice of food and we were all in love with the grill master! Beautiful location and cosy hotel.

Review 10：We asked for late checkout. We were told that if the room was not booked this would be possible for an extra €40. On the day of departure We were told that we would be transferred to another room (at the same cost). We were taken to a basic room at another building, not properly cleaned which we doubt that it was worth more than €40 for a whole day, much more not for a few hours! The worst part was that when we lifted the bed cover, we found a bed bug on the bed sheet! When we complained about that the receptionist appologised and promissed to report to the management. Of course they didn't refund the extra charge and no one ever contacted us! A. Very poor experience and clearly not a 5 star hoter whatsoever!!!

Review 14：There is no wi-fi in the bedroom and very poor network near the pool and lobby. So If you need wi-fi don't go to this hotel. They didn't care when I was complaining about this. They said they were fixing it so If they say that to you, don't believe them, because is was really bad my whole 11 nights. The food is always the same, the meat is really fat and it was not possible to eat anything but salat or pizza every night. You can only eat once per Italian and Chinese restaurant so I would recommend to go to hotel that has 2-3 restaurants you can choose from every day. Its really annoying to go to the same restaurant three times a day and the booking site should have said this that you can only eat once per restaurant. The hotel manager is the most rude and impolite men I've ever met and because of him I cannot recommend this hotel.

Review 18：We had the All Inclusive package. The food at the main restaurant was very good and changed every day. We had two dinners at the a la carte restaurants also. The Chinese restaurant was excellent and the view was corgeus. Transportation to nearby cities was easy with buses going by every 15 minutes. Also prices of taxies driving by were negotiable. Climbing up the stairs and a steep rise from the beach were good excercise every day. We didn't mind.

My husband could not leave if I was a sleep or in the shower because everything would turn off. They only give you one card. Also I don't think people should be able to save pool/beach chairs. There were ones that were saved and nobody used them for more than half the day. Those could have been used by other guests.

When we complained they said even if you can see even a little ´blue' in the far horizon,it's considered 'sea view'...the food was worthy of a 3 star hotel. The room smelled like a sewer. Review 66：Not enough fish food in the restaurant for a sea resort hotel. Airco from other room made some noise in our room even when airco was off (no big deal). Deserts in restaurant are always the same and not great (the brownie cake is the best), some dishes are repetitive. Beach places fill up quickly so go early.

Review 68：As mentioned in a previous review, predominantly Russians and Eastern Europeans staying, who were quite arrogant and unfriendly and made us feel uncomfortable (no fault of the hotel). Also, we got to the beach at 8am during our stay to discover nearly all the free hotel sunbeds had towels on them reserved from the night before. The last six were taken by the woman just before us putting towels down 'reserving' them for later. We payed for beds and stayed until 12pm and most free beds were still unoccupied despite these 'reservations'. Hate this culture. All these factors slightly marred our stay but otherwise nothing negative to say about the hotel and staff, they were lovely.

Review 72：This is absolutely NOT a 5 stars hotel, I think it could be a 3 stars hotel.I used booking.com for years and this is the first time that the hotel I booked didn't match with the description.Just arrived I was immediately asked to pay but fortunately I told I preferred have a look at the room and then pay.I booked a room on 2 floors that should be a 49 mq but I was given a 28 mq room on 1 floor, without any word, and them even tried to have money for bigger room on 2 floors. That is not acceptable even for a 2 stars hotel !!!When I came back to receptionist, without any word I was sent to general manager, who told he had no more 2 floors rooms. He tried to tell that there was no other solutions, and only because I told that this was his problem and that he had to solve it immediately, he found another room. This was really a terrible first impression !!!Room should be a 49 mq but was smaller for sure.Pictures of the room on booking.com showed a big window and a big television on second floor but there was no window and no television, there was just the bed.On first floor there should be a sofà, as showed on pictures, but there was no sofa to see television.The big shower of the bathroom maybe in a previous time was a beautyful shower, but now it was all rusted and dirty. Also the washbasin was broken and this not good for a 5 stars hotel....Also marble staircases to the second floor were broken.When I asked a second key at reception (we were two people but we received just one key) I was asked a deposit of 10 euros, and I don't think is a good thing for a 5 stars hotel.At breakfast buffet there is to pay 2 euros to have a fresh orange juice, and this is also very bad for a 5 stars hotel.We asked for lunch basket and we received a bag with a biscuits box, one apple (sent rotten) and only 1 slice of bread with cheese (just 1 slice !!).

Review 73：Excelent accomodation, the all inclusive package is great, you can enjoy free snacks and drinks(including wine, beer, g&t and lots more) during the day. You can use all the facilities for free. Large choise of food, greek food and local wine, which was great.

Review 74：It is up on the mountain and not very near to the beach, although this is not very obvious from the pictures. A car is required. Although wifi was included in the room price, my room had no wifi reception at all. In the end I used my own mobile internet..

I think booking.com should check before uploading hotel description and prevent this problem.) - it is definitely not a 5-star - no Wi-Fi in the room: when I booked at booking.com, it is clearly stated that "Elegantly decorated room with private balcony and free Wi-Fi ..." and "WiFi is available in all areas ... ", but actually there is no Wi-Fi in the room. I asked the reception to switch to another room with Wi-Fi, and was told there is no room with Wi-Fi! Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby, and there is why the lobby area is always full of people, because everyone is there to use Wi-Fi. The reception told me that she will report this problem to the reservation manager, but no body came back to me on this issue! - when I booked at booking.com, I selected a room with "1 double, 1 sofa bed", but there is no sofa in the room (too small to have a sofa)

Review 87：- The food is good, and with many choices. However, you get almost the same dishes every day. - The staff is in general friendly. However, some male staff in the restaurant treat customers differently: if they like (or know) you, they will serve you something nice; otherwise,... - The hotel offers transportation to airport, which is convenient and costs 40 euros (single way). You can also use public transport (cost less then 5 euros). For the people want to use public transport, you first take bus from airport to the central bus station at Chania (cost 2.3 euro, about 30 min), then take bus to the hotel (cost about 1.9 euro, 20 min). The bus stop is close to the hotel.

Review 90：When booking our room it said it included free wifi which is one of thereasons we booked this hotel however there was no wifi in the room. Infact the wifi in the lobby was not working either and so we had to walkaround to try and find somewhere in town. We were offered nocompensation for this and no apologies despite it being a 5 star. Alsoon our first day which we planned to stay around the hotel and lounge atthe pool the pool bar was not open which was very disappointing as itwas a key reason for booking. We stayed in April and travellers shouldnote that nothing around the hotel was open at all- apparently thingsbegin to open at the 25th of April.
