Review 4：The hotel is in a lovely setting. We had a lovely room.

Review 5：The chalet hotel is what is says, a chalet (most would call it Swiss style), all wood, comfortable, homey and rustic. The hotel is decorated beautifully with finds from antique markets and brocantes, very fitting the environment. I't s family-owned and you notice that as everyone is very friendly and makes an effort to welcome guests. The hotel was taken over by the current generation and renovated in 2000 or 2003 to a high standard with simple but elegant bathrooms. We did not have dinner there but the breakfast buffet was unique in its set up amidst all the country style decorations featuring a large variety of delicious home made breads, cheeses and some deli meats, home made jams, etc. Don't expect the fancy salmon but again, a breakfast that goes with the style of the hotel. You can even buy their home made jams, which we did. The hotel is located near the famous "Col de la Schlucht", about 45 km west of Colmar, so rather remotely with plenty of options to hike and walk and spend time outdoors. We were so impressed that we decided to come back with our adult and teenage children.
