Review 1：Lena, the owner, was very nice to us. She made everything possible to make us, me and my husband, feel welcomed. By the end of our stay we felt not as guests, but as friends and we very much thank Lena for her warm hospitality!

Review 5：There is limited and not good parking spots. Not good value for money. Staff should be more professional and not argue in front of customers. Not very good wifi signal (at least in my room). We were asked not to add any comments in booking.com ( I wonder why...)

Review 8：From the moment we arrived we were greeted whit friendliness and a small gift. Diversified breakfast, room cleaning was done every day and towels were changed daily. Very close to the center full of cafes and restaurants but still far from the noise and agitation.Staff very friendly gave us tips on places to visit and about specific restaurans. Everything was great, we felt great and we will definitely return.
Review 9：My best experience with Booking. Com. Up to now. We felt at home,mother and son were so friendly that we do not see very often. Homemade jams, pastries, cakes were delicious (mind you that I am a verywell known gourmet).If your taxi did not come in time then the son, Makis, takes you where you want to go in his own private car and free of charge. Many and many thanks to our new dear friends Heleny, Makis.

Review 11：We are very satisfied with this hotel, and we would always recomend it. Hotel is located near the center of the town, but yet in quite place where you won't me desturbed with loud music or trafic. Fairy boats are very near. There is a free parking space in front of the hotel. The pool is very nice. Room was really beautiful, with new furniture and bathroom and with a big balcony. Room was always spotless clean. We had a great WiFi reception in the room. Breakfast was good and it was served near the pool. The stuff and hotel owners were incredibly kind and helpful. When we arived, after serving us some welcome sweets, they gave us some very useful advices about diferent places and beaches in Thasos. They were kind and helped us with all our needs.
Review 12：The shower was not separated from the rest of the bathroom, so water splashed all around while showering. Also, there was no hot water early in the morning (8AM) or late at night (after 10PM). The bathroom fan was not very powerful so the bathroom was foggy for a long time after showering.

Review 15：We spent a wonderful holiday at Hotel Macedon. The renovated rooms are the best we've seen in Greece at this price. Cleaning was exemplary. Breakfast is ok. We recommend this location for vacation.
Review 16：- Old furniture,bad decoration. the photos at the website were totally misleading. - During our visit there, sheets and towels were never replaced even if they were stained. Cleaning lady just folded them. - Room and bathroom also were not cleaned properly. - Expensive price. That room should cost 30 euros per night not 80 . - Lack of phone inside the room!!

Review 18：The hotel has just a little sign outside, so when we arrived we missed it a couple of times beacuse there was no clear name sign.
Review 19：The location, close to the ferry port. Nice staff, very welcomeing, we recived a gift upon checking in, a nice bottle of olive oil and a greek desert. Good breakfast. The staff gaved us a lot of information about the good beaches and restaurants of the island and also a map to help us move around.
Review 20：I reserved a triple room but found out these were old rooms and only deluxes were renovated, I refused to stay in the awful room. Owner very helpful and gave us a different room but couldnt garantee for the whole stay. Make sure renovation is complete for the whole hotel including eating area before booking here.

Makis offered 2 rooms instead of tripled room with no extra charge. Small open-buffet breakfast is very nice with local home-made foods. There is a nice outdoor pool. Parking is not a problem.

We had a very friendly welcome by the owners of the hotel who were very helpful during our staying. A big plus for the breakfast that includes home-made stuff.
Review 62：If you are looking for a relaxing getaway in a tranquil place than hotel Macedon is the right choice! We visited the hotel with our 5-year old son for a week and enjoyed it greatly. Our son was trilled by the good-size clean swimming pool. The room had all facilities and was cleaned daily. Thank you Lena for the home-made breakfast each morning, for the great hospitality and for making every guest feel special! We will definitely recommend hotel Macedon to our family and friends.
