Santa Marina Hotel consists of two buildings, one with rooms enjoying views of the sea and the other with rooms with views of the gardens and the pool.

Review 1：Main pool too deep, shower is a bit cramped, uninspiring all-inclusive drinks selection

Review 2：The resort beach is very good, 2 pools are a plus, location is great short walk to Agia Marina or short bus ride into Chania, food is of a decent standard for all inclusive

Review 4：Everything was great from beginning to end. On arrival we were met with a warm and welcoming greeting and were looked after really well. The service maids were lovely,friendly and helpful. The staff in the breakfast area were super. My daughter is gluten free and they went out of their way to accommodate her by providing her with breakfast suitable for her to eat....

Also, we were told lies by them and yous, you said it has a fitness centre, I train hard and to witness the facility they had was a complete and utter joke, obviously you dont send reps over to check out hotels,we booked this Hotel under false pretences, not a happy traveller

Review 9：1) Internet computers were terrible - waste of money using them. Use an internet cafe instead. 2) Bed was two single beds pushed together - uncomfortable bed. 3) Pool is very deep. shallow pool is very small - for kids really. 4) Busy street between pool complex and main hotel/beach complex. 5) Cleaning Staff always leaving balcony door open - mosquitoes in our room in the evenings - had to complain to reception. 6) Replacement beach towels looked like they were 10yrs old - holes in them.

Review 11：The room we got did not correspond to the description on Booking.com´s confirmation. If you wish, can mail you picture of the room. We had to pay 5 Euro per day for the beach beds, it was not mentioned on Booking.com

Review 13：The hotel was far too expensive for the quality of service and amenities provided. Rooms are outdated, our "double bed" was just two twins pushed together, decor was old and the bathroom was tiny. Front desk staff were not very helpful - I waited 40 minutes in the lobby for a towel foe the beach. Nothing is included - hotel guests have to pay am additional fee for sunbeds on the beach, and leave a hefty deposit for towels. Breakfast was not very good, and neither was the (pricy) a la carte restaurant.

I would not only not stay here again, I would warn others to avoid.

Review 19：It was fine. Everything was just ok. People weren't very helpful. The buffet food was ok, we had better trying other resorts along the same beach. Could never get beach chairs until late in the day, while other resorts seemed to have no trouble. Wifi was terrible. Bed was very uncomfortable. But it overall it was ok for price we got.

Review 33：The food at the hot plate was lukewarm and spoiled the meals. The system for keeping food hot does not work, or the food is prepared and left in the kitchen until it is presented to the hot plate, by which time is has already cooled. Cold chips and cold fried eggs are not enjoyable! The wifi for my room cost me 15 Euros and could only be obtained whilst out on the balcony.

Review 36：The website is misleading. The rooms look nothing like the website.This was an outdated hotel with ugly rooms and uncomfortable beds. Theexterior also does not look like the websites pictures. No help fromthe front desk on transportation alternatives. Only expensive cabswere offered.
