Review 1:The area for smoking for staff on the 4th floor was near our rooms.and the smell of smoking was in the rooms. I asked staff and receptionist to stop it but l had to asked them several times during two days. There was a dirty line above the waterline in pool during our 10days staying

Review 2:Clean room. Great view. Hotel upgraded our room free of charge. If you don't like to walk it is hard to go to the beach but for us it was easy.

Review 3:Hotel was not all inclusive, rather full board (no drinks or snacks outside of meal times). Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. Food was awful (I got food poisoning one night). Left early.

Review 4:- Cleanliness of the toilette and bathroom was not perfect - Food quality could be better: most of the times the meals don't have to much taste but sometimes they do, so I guess it depends on the cook. - Plates in the restaurant are not always clean enough - Restaurant is too noisy because the stuff has to clean and make the tables over and over again because of the many guests. - At the late hours the water temperature of the shower is not too warm.

Review 5:- Staff was very friendly, kind and helpful - Location is pretty good if you don't have problem with walking 100 meter on steep walkway to the sea

Review 6:The food was average, we thought that it could have been more inviting, tasty and tender. The room was also rather small with not enough room for any book or computer work.

Review 10:The one thing that could be improved is the abrupt ending of meals. Breakfast is supposed to last until 10 AM, but the staff starts cleaning at 9:45. At lunch and dinner, they turn off the lights at the exact time when the meal is supposed to end (the food is already gone). I think it's OK to remove the buffet at 9 PM, but I think those people still eating should be allowed to finish their meal without rushing.

Review 11:In general, this hotel turned out to be more than what we expected. The staff is particularly attentive, everyone from the reception, cleaning services, the bar and the restaurant. Food is plentiful and varied, and the rooms are clean, and the AC is excellent. We were particularly happy with the beach in front of Valamar Casa Sanfior, which was not crowded and where all Valamar guests can rent sunbeds at a discount price. We would definitely be back.

Review 12:No elevator directly from the lobby (we had to carry our child's stroller a few steps). Only one hour for the dinner - if you want to have light all inclusive facility, please do not turn off the lights just a few minutes after the official end of the dinner. If you would like to save on drinks, abolish the light all inclusive option.

Review 32:The air conditioning did not work. Multiple complaints to the frontdesk did nothing to remedy the problem. Further, our request for a fanwas ignored.This is not an "all inclusive" resort. It is full board, and you can get water, house beer and house wine from machines from 10 - noon and 4:30 - 6:30. The machines are mobbed with people and it is difficult to get a beverage. It should NOT be marketed as all inclusive. There were not nearly enough chairs at the pool, and the hotel did nothing about people reserving chairs with towels and not using them. The hotel did not provide towels for the pool. The cleaning staff occasionally just hung our used towels instead of giving us clean towels, even though we followed the towel protocol listed in the room. Parking is a circus. The food was edible, and nothing more. Very little variety. Difficult to find a table. The dining room temperature, just like everywhere else in the hotel, was unbearably hot. I am a frequent traveler to Eastern Europe and Croatia in particular. I would not ever consider staying at this hotel again.

Review 34:The restaurant was too small, with the evening meal divided into two shifts. The second "sitting" was late at 8 o'clock and was chaotic, with difficulty finding a table, and slow replenishment of the food dishes in the self service area. While the food was good, it was not remarkable. Generally the restaurant was more like a good works canteen. The waiters in the restaurant, the bar staff and even the cleaning staff seem disinterested in the clients. One or two were actually rude but for the most part they were simply not friendly. The one exception was the delightful receptionist, who seemed genuinely to enjoy her work and was always welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately the friendly attitude was not to be found once you passed the reception area. I have stayed at other Valamar hotels and this one does not reach the standards set by the rest of the chain. Also beware of the car parking, it is not easy to find a space and the parking is under pine trees that weep resin onto your car - this is not easy to remove.

Review 35:The hotel and particularly the rooms are clean and well equipped ( though a refrigerator in the room would be a bonus). The swimming pool was a little small for the size of the hotel, but it is clean, well maintained and supervised. The Aqua-aerobics was the best I have seen.
