Review 1：for some reason in our room the internet was very slow, both wifi and cellular.

Review 2：the staff is amazing, so kind and caring. I never encountered anything like this before.

Review 3：We booked side sea view rooms and paid extra for this but on arrival we were told our room was unavailable until tomorrow we were sent down to aroma below floor level which I later found out cost less

Review 6：The Santa marina plaza is a fantastic hotel to stay in. Great location, peaceful, good sized modern rooms and fantastic friendly staff. Being adult only allowed for a very relaxed and calm holiday. All set in a nice location right on the beach. The rooms are spotless and well equipped. With lovely sea views. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and seemed to genuinely enjoy working at the hotel which added to the warm welcome and service provided.

Review 7：Lot of room for improvement. The internet is almost inexistent. The charge for the safety box was not necessary. Almost all hotels provided it for free. You also need to put a 1 euro coin to weight your bag at the reception. Those are kind of cheap saving that a hotel of that level should not make The pool closes at 7 pm, which is a bit too early for an adults only type of hotel. Plus at this time of the year we have sun light until over 8 pm. Swimming at night is a luxury which unfortunately I could not enjoy. Also,I am not a puritan, but topless in the swimming pool should be restricted. Nothing against topless, I do it myself, at the beach, or if I wanted to do it at the swimming pool, I would put my top at least to go in the pool. A bit overpricey for what it offers.

Review 8：Nice location, but very touristic and busy. If beginning of July was busy, can't imagine how crowded it can get in peak summet time. Lovely and friendly staff. Decent breakfast with fresh orange juice (always a ++ for me)

Review 9：We got our room in a basement! That was clean but smell inside was very bad. Room was very dark and we could not see the sun. I think that room doesn't worth money that we paid.

Review 13：I was given a quiet room as requested, and by and large the hotel and other guests were not noisy (it was adults only). However, nearby hotels/bars played loud music till early in the morning. Thus, it was not as quiet as it could have been (and as one could expect in a beautiful Greek island). I admit that I am a light sleeper and slept with the window open.

Review 17：the rooms are not sound proofing , we could not sleep well at night,we can hear noise from next room and the room on the top floor. is like the walls are not there , the facilities are for a 3 star hotel not for a 5 star .the price is a lot more compare with other beach hotels the same category.The style of the hotel is not what we was expeting.In the fotos is amazing but needs to be upgrade , cleaning could be better , some one where the sun beds so people can order drinks , tourist from other hotels do come and use the sunbeds next to us and no one staff is there to check, they even bring and there drinks with them.There are not enough staff so there is not too much service where you need it.Any way may be this will pay atention at the hotels policie but for sure it depents and what kind of tourist they are selling the rooms and what price.For me it was a lot more from my experience , really sorry but 230 euros per night , with this atmosphere i feel that it should be down to 120 euros per night max.

Review 21：Extremely efficient, friendly and helpful staff. Clean spacious room with excellent side view balcony. Beach was beautiful and by far the nicest spot along that part of the coastline. Excellent location right next to super market, shops, restaurants and bars but no noise at all from night life. The first night we were put in a different room to the one we booked but they moved us into the right room for the rest of our stay and refunded us the difference in price, providing us also with a complimentary dinner and drinks for the first night.It is worth mentioning that upon arriving at the airport on our return leg, after having swiftly checked out at 4 am (and having been offered a full breakfast by the hotel), we realized that we had forgotten a phone in a taxi that the hotel had ordered for us. We didn’t have the number to the taxi but one call to the hotel reception was enough for them to immediately locate, and organize for the taxi to drive back to the airport with the phone. We were very impressed!

Review 37：We used the hotel on our last 3 days in chania as we just wanted to relax and not worry about anything, and it proved a right choice.after touring chania by car , the hotel provided everything that was needed to just stay in and enjoy the beach. And the hotel beach is the highlight of the hotel in my opinion. we walked around agia marina and the section of the beach of this hotel has the finest sand and really good location. the Room was spacious well equipped , and view was amazing. Staff were always helpful and smiling. And the swiming pool looked great ( though we never used it , who needs a Swimming pool when u have that kind of beach under your feet)
