Review 1：Found could not turn radiator down when the room got too warm.
Review 2：Linda was very friendly and helpful. Room was small but comfortable. Location was good and nice 10 minutes walk to town centre. Good breakfast, plenty of choice.

Review 7：3 of the party of 4 had single rooms with a shared toilet and tiny shower which was on a different floor. The shower was difficult to regulate, there was no non slip mat and no grab rail. Also it was too tiny to hang up clothes. The dining room was on the cramped side and we were never sure whether the buffet style breakfast bar was for us to help ourselves or not, as staff tended to take over .
Review 8：The location as we'd never stayed at South Bay before.The hotel decor was very well done, with a beautiful stair carpet and good quality wall coverings.
Review 9：The slamming of doors in the morning. The bedroom doors shut in such noisy fashion but as time went on I learned to sleep through the door slamming.
Review 10：I like the fact that every little detail of the house was explained by the manager in great detail. There was also a little few perks in the house that I wasn't expecting such as the hair dryer and iron. It was open use for all residents. Bay house offers a long breakfast list of your own choosing and also there was a separate section for vegetarians. The bedroom was clean to a high standard. You get your own T.V, kettle and fridge in all room besides one which was mine, I didn't get my own fridge but it really didn't bother me. There was plenty of free brochures and magazine on offer for everyone scattered around the house, that really came in handy for me as I was a tourist and a first time traveller to Scarborough. Overall I give Bay house two thumbs up, I recommend it to anyone and everyone to stay in this place, brilliant value for money and a perfect location.

Review 17：The smallest of small criticisms (and I mean small) The mug and spoon left in the room for having cups of (Yorkshire) tea didn't appear to have been in the dishwasher. I'm really nitpicking here though.
Review 18：Extremely good value for money! There are 3 rooms which share a shower room and toilet. I have no idea how anyone can complain about the few stairs down to the toilet, especially as you need to go up 4 gentle sets of stairs to get to your room anyway. The wifi worked perfectly, the staff are lovely and my friends staying around the corner in the Crown Spa paid 5 times as much!
Review 19：Wi Fi reception in our room was poor but as we were only staying for two nights this is hardly something to complain about.
Review 20：Very friendly and welcoming staff. Our dog a Jack Russell Terrier was also made very welcome. There were also other dogs staying with their owners so it didn't feel like by taking a dog we were putting them to any extra trouble. Very pet friendly. The breakfast choice and quality was also excellent.
Review 21：Lovely B & B, nice and clean with really friendly, helpful staff. A very clean and obviously loved place and the breakfast was very good. Found the bed I had in the twin room a little hard, but other people may find it fine. A little out of the centre, but walkable or an easy trip on the cliff lift (which is close by) and the seafront bus. All in all a lovely place.
Review 22：This is the second time we have stayed at Bay house,both times we have been very impressed by the friendliness of the people who run it. The rooms are kept to a high and clean standard. the breakfast which included cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt and full English is more than enough. breakfast drinks included fresh juice, tea and coffee. there is ample roadside parking straight outside or within a few feet of the entrance. I have no problem recommending the Bay House to anyone. We will definitely be going for a third time.

Review 24：A friendly, well-run traditional B&B in a typical English seaside town. Its location above South Bay is superb, with the Italian Garden and great views of the town and castle on the way down. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, a pity that it stops at 9.00!
