Miramar Hotel is on the St. Andrija peninsula, only 50 feet from a beach and less than half a mile from the center of Rabac. Featuring an outdoor pool and tennis courts, it offers air-conditioned accommodation units with a balcony.

Review 1：The hotel is very close to the sea, the staff is nice, friendly and English-speaking. We have arrived late at night and there was a cold dinner waiting for us - that was really nice surprise, especially after a daylong ride. Parking close to the hotel. Pretty interior and clean room with beautiful seaview! Tasty breakfasts and dinners, good drinks at the bar. The pool looked fine, but unfortunately it was too cold outside to swim. We would like to come back to Hotel Miramar some day :)

Review 2：The room was a little basic, could be freshened up.

Review 3：The location was great and the breakfast and dinner that came with it had a really nice selection. Very family friendly, had a lot of stuff to do for the kids. Very close to the beach which was very nice.

Review 4：The price listed on booking (Euro) was/is not the price that was actually charged from the credit card. It was charged 80 euros more and the explanation was that it's due to the exchange rate (Kuna vs. Euro).

Review 5：The room was clean,comfortable and quiet - towels were changed every day - food was also very good - location of the hotel is near the beach.

Review 6：Staff were very good generally. Reception staff were somewhat serious and could possibly improve on their welcoming skills. Dinner in the evening could be improved with more choice. The soups were basically the same for the seven days.

Review 8：- swimming pool is mainly for the children, its height is a maximum of 110 cms - dinners were a bit boring after 2-3 days, they rarely served poultry (e.g. fried chicken) - air conditioner was not working at all - parking is really difficult, there are simply too many cars for the places available

Review 32：We expected to have at least one knife in the kitchen! Food gets too repetative after few days. Another issue is the beach. All of them are FULL of sunbeds and under concession - the contractor is Valamar. You can't place yourselves without additional payment. Even though the beach is not private, they are effectively limiting your access and enjoyment by the seaside. As a guest of hotel we felt unwanted, expect if we would be willing to pay an extra 90 kuna per day (2sunbeds,umbrella). Guest tip - count an extra 100€ per week for simply enjoing on the beach.

Review 33：We booked a studio and were really satisfied with our choice (comfort, balcony view, size...). Staff was very helpful and friendly. Good value for money for a 3* hotel.

Review 34：Beware of the hill at this hotel if you have any walking or breathing difficulty. There is a very steep hill from the beach to hotel and if you choose to stay in the studio apartments there is another steep incline to reach these. Bar was closed from 12 - 17 each day, therefore if you wanted a drink or a snack you had to walk to the grocery store. No vending machine in the hotel for water, although we were told tap water is fine to drink, we are not used to tap water and find it hard to digest. Dinner is served from 19 - 21 which is not long enough as dining room is always crowded and very difficult to find a seat.

Review 36：There is no parking lot as such. Finding a spot for the car may takes 10min, and a forest way stop (car wash tic would be welcomed as more aspine trees drop resinous fat). Elevator smells (presumably, due tobroken ventillation it was like entering Bayern Munich's changingroom after the game). Broken bed (look under your bed, it might bebroken or fixed amateurishly). Poorly renovated barhroom (mould coveredby white silicone unworkmanlike way). Noise level (thanks to bus loadsof Austrian pentioners use loud, explicit language incl., Late nightdrunken yelling, feeling free to light up cigaretts on floor corridors!Seriously, no smoking rule is to be introduced in the whole buildingA.S.A.P.! You are enjoying the balcony view with your babygirl in yourarm, meanwhile next balcony smokes like factory chimney, fagbutts beingdropped after! Puke, disgusting!) Orange juice for breakfast is anupselling product (cca: 5 euro, 'common guys, are you serious?!).Wine/water ordering procedure for dinner is way too complicated,slow and unefficient (Drink Station to be set with a bar-code readerstaff if such upselling goods could not be package-offerred right at check-in or so). Gate opening procedure for dinner (unorganized, crowd like"hungry animals" are entering in a bottleneck of space,shoulder to shoulder race, pushing and stepping. Not funny! Other thanunmannerly behaviour, it is also seriously dangeours!)

Review 39：the room was nice and clean. seeblick (seeview) was good, but we expected little bit more in this point. not all rooms designed as "seeview room" have this view in fact (the problem because of trees). food - first feeling - excelent. many many different dishes (fishes and meats, fresh fruit and vegetables, salats, muslies, etc). after couple of days we found out , that it is somehow "still the same tastes" so even if there were so many options to choose from (still all good), we couldnt choose in fact nothing. the fishes are good but dont expect the best value quality. staff - they re really very polite. 3star hotel - very nice close to the beach, dont expect luxus and you ll be satisfied and no regret it at all

Review 40：The staff wasn't friendly at all.The room was too small.we had to ask for dusch-gel to be refilled.There was no fridge.There were very noisy outdoor programmes late at night,though there were many families with children.

Review 41：The pool was excellent. Rabac is beautiful,but next time we would rather go to Lovran,or Abbazia.

Review 42：Although assortment of the food is quite good, they add arificial flavor enhancer practicaly to each dish, even vegetable food is not an exception. To little space on the beach for such a number of the hotels in this resort, also not enough possibilities for beeing in the natural shadow of pinetreas near or on the beach.

Review 43：Staff in the hotel and hotel's restaurant (also cooks) are kind and helpful. Due to the alergy problems, we could also arrange with one cook to cook for us dishes without artificial aditives. Hotel is very clean and quite peaceful. Surprisingly, we had very tight night sleeps.

Review 45：nice, clean hotel, very good food, really good position, just 2 steps to the sea and can walk for hours in the shadow of the pines along the sea, a lot of possibilities to take a bath.

Review 46：Perfect location if one is looking for beach side accommodation and panoramic view. Book a superior room, all those have a balcony and sea-view. The rooms are spacey, very clean and comfortable. The restaurant is a bit crowded as it is too small for such big hotel. But the food (both: breakfast and lunch) is absolutely outstanding quality, quantity, variety. It is worth waiting a little in the lobby in case all seats are taken. Staff is polite, makes one feel welcome and goes the extra mile on giving excellent service. We had a very positive experience with one of the receptionists, but overall everybody was friendly and professional. I would recommend to all travelers, we will be back next year!

Review 47：I didn't like that the hotel it'a a little bit hard to be found when you get in Rabac and they don't have a fridge in the room, in rest everything it's the best.

Review 48：I think that Miramar Hotel it's a great hotel with great conditions, the best and variuos food (swedish buffet), excellent personnel.

Review 49：Although it seems like a rather peaceful, downbeat resort/town, bewareof the extremely loud music coming from the nearby terrace (anotherhotel), not stopping until well after 1, 2 am. If you've got the seaview, the closed windows will not help, so be well advised to bringalong effective ear plugs although you might nonetheless feel the bass.Also, even though breakfast finishes at 10 and dinner at 21.30, the tables are being made for the next meal (that is, at breakfast for lunch, and at dinner for breakfast) half an hour before the end - which is why it's not a rare sight to see people wandering around searching for a table they might sit at. The lights are being turned off about 15 minutes before the end. If you come in the last half hour you really feel uneasy and unwelcome as if you're causing them additional work - they obviously want to have the dining space empty when the clock strikes 10 or 21.30 at the latest. In addition to that, you might have trouble with finding many items of food if you come in the last half hour or even earlier since most of it isn't being replenished any longer. And you might find it less than enjoyable to have a strong smelling cleaning solution sprayed on the table 20 cm away from yours while you're still eating - at least the waiter spraying it won't seem bothered.

Review 51：Everyday music, which is a bit loud, till almost midnight from the other hotel next to this one. Crowdy, busy beach. Salt water in the hotel's pool. A bit far from the town centre, but you may find everything next to the hotel also.

Review 56：The hotel is fine and fit with 3 stars hotel. The price a bit pricy compare to many hotel in Trieste where you can get a really nice hotel for this price. Staff were very nice and friendly. They could have improve a little more for kids facility in the hotel. The most important for this hotel is internet. It's only at the lobby and poor internet connection where every guests has to sit and be there to be online.
