Review 1：Although the hotel is set back from the road if the window is open at night there is some traffic noise. This is a minor point considering how much we enjoyed our stay and please do not be put off by this observation.
Review 2：The friendly owners and staff gave us a warm welcome. The food was not only delicious the portions were generous. The waiting staff did a marvellous job in spite of the restaurant being fully booked they maintained a professional efficiency combined with great good humour. The French decor is lovely as are the well maintained and well thought out gardens. The next time we are heading to the Highlands we will be breaking our journey here.

The owners were extremely hospitable and interested in their guests. Food at Yanns was excellent and having recently stayed in an small, well known and well regarded Lake District hotel, Yanns exceeded their quality on every front and in addition were excellent value. I can't recommend Yanns highly enough.

Review 24：We had a wonderful 2 night stay with charming and very welcoming hosts. Our room was well appointed and warm with super comfy beds. We ate in both nights - food and wine were delicious as was breakfast. Our whole stay was faultless and I cant recommend highly enough a stay at Yann's.

Review 49：The Glenearn house is beautiful and the couple has done a great job at decorating it. Their restaurant is an absolut must eat, meals are delicious and so is breakfast. We will definitely come back as it is not too far from Edinburgh, Stirling and Blaire castle.

Review 51：I was blown away by Gleanearn at Yanns. The house and its room interiors were just beautiful - chic french boutique. Our room was in the loft and was perfect, comfortable, very clean and I can honestly say the best hotel I have stayed in. Breakfast was delicious - lovely choice of buffet items and a good selection of freshly cooked items - crepes were beautiful. The staff (Yann and Shari) were great. Made us feel very much at home - so much so I really didnt want to leave, I loved it that much. After a nice conversation as we were checking out, it felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend rather than a hotelier. We cannot wait to return to Glenearn again and have already been recommending it to family and friends. Thank you Yann and Shari from the Newmans!
